Me! This is kittenED UP!!! Why does noone do something against that stupid bug. I stood nearly one minute on a cappoint after the the revenant I fought with left me alone and could do nothing than blink me around. And this was not the first time. What the hell is this???

Groups vs. Squads

Hi,

first of all, let me say that I certainly welcome, the new squad function. However, I am somehow dissatisfied. Why? I think that squads are useless to gain experience points / XP. For me it seems actually more effective to play in groups than in squads. Maybe I am alone. Maybe someone can verify my thesis.

My Subjective perception:

To get Experience / XP as a single player without group in a raid is difficult. It is only possible to target until one or three single targets.
If I am in a group of five men I simply spread my damage to many enemies as possible. Also do my party members. If the enemies dies all group members get XP, that means I am much more effective in participation by killings as I am if I am alone.

Now everybody gets invited immediately into squads, because then all can follow the comanders and it is also a security against disconnects, same like groups were. I think stupid side effect is only, that we dont get the same XP for killings in squads than we do in groups because our damage will not be spread in the same way like in groups. We dont get the same XP for kills by tags by our squadmembers than we get from groupmembers.

For examle: I am in a group of 5 people. I spread damage on 10 enemies and got XP for 6. When I am in a Squad of 30 I spread my damage also on 10 enemies but get only XP for 3 if I have luck.

Can it be ? Has anyone else made the same experience ? Possibly even someone tests and refuted or confirmed my hypothesis.

That uplifts sPvP into a society of boon-elementalists, bunker-guardians, bunker-engineers, mantra-shatter-mesmer, minion-mancer and minion-rangers. Long live the diversity. Sorry but Anet is not able to balance builds and traits and there are a lot of overpowered builds and traits.

I think I am serious. And I can tell you they nerfed mesmer hard and we lost a lot of capabilities in playstyle and damage. I lost my capability to suck noobish booneles and bunkerguardians with conditions dry. Yes…I have lost condition damage!!! That needed time, sometimes I lost against really good guys, but mostly it worked because my trait was tanky enough. Now it is unplayable. Btw only for info PU is a joke against the cleaning possibilities and boon generating of other classes. Since the patch I am tired of leaving a fight against a guardian or a ele because it makes no sense to fight because nothing happen with my enemy and I get killed faster than ever. So I tell you this problem doesnt exist since two days…it exist even longer and its a kittenin problem. If you have two classes on the same level who fight against each other it needs skill to win. But for me this doesnt exist anymore and for others it never existed. A lot of eles run around in godmode.Real good players can stop a whole group, while they kill others with three shots. That is not my game.

I lol’d hard. If it is overpowered to stealth and run away I must be wrong in playing that game. Its a shame, that mesmer must often stealth and run away especially in cappointfights in spvp. Since the last mechanical changes it is no more really possible to stay infight on the cappoint.

that it needs mostly two people in spvp to kill an elementalist. It needs no skill to run around with an abnormous stack of boons, selfheal and movement, being invincible. And to top it the damage is also accordingly. Sry but this must be said. Same applies to most of the guardians. Thx!!!

Do something!!! Its not really possible to target or to join a map or a party since days. That glint is not nice. People gets eyes cancer.
