I do recall a dev stating on a thread that zhaitan not doing anything was a bug but that was i think around mid september so not sure what their plans are with it.

I dont recall the thread but a dev did state that skipping kholer or using the troll to fight are not exploits.

Cm story is bugged at the end quest and ac explorable on path 1 has had a 50/50 chance on working for me and others who i have talked to. The part where you have to get the scepter pieces doesn’t activate.

On dragonbrand the event to uncontest CoF is not working, the npc Raizen the Raider is stuck right before the bridge part where we make the last stand.

This little bug is so annoying !

it only creeps it’s ugly head when you 1st enter combat and swap weapons for the 1st time, it totally ignores the fact you have the fast hands trait and places a standard 9 second CD on your swapping ability instead of a 4 second CD

This needs a fix as soon as you can Arena.net.

Ive also noticed this bug for quite awhile now. Also they still havnt fixed the bug that kills warriors instantly sometimes while waypointing after having died from vengeance.

My elementalist is only lvl 43 but in the dungeons ive tried so far with this build (ac/explorable, cm) its done pretty well and i dont even have most of the traits yet.

My question is what do you guys think about replacing the weapon sigil of battle with sigil of hydromancy. Ive been using it and im really liking the aoe chill+damage hydromancy gives.

I find it quite funny that the people against dungeon finders are those that believe it would “destroy” the “social” aspect of Guild Wars 2. The irony being is that there really is no true “social” aspect to the game. Sure, there are the group events and all that good stuff, but how much of that actually results in some sort of conversation getting started or actual parties being formed?

Your logic is flawed here. You talk about LFG in dungeons and then cite DE as an example. I don’t have many social interactions during DE too, but in dungeons it’s been a completely different beast. Every dungeon I’ve been there’s been a lot of chatting before, during and after it’s done.

As it has been pointed out, when you find groups too easily you’ll also discard them too easily.

I haven’t had that experience at all. Ive ran ac explorable enough for 9 weapons (a few of them prior to the token buff), Ta explorable enough for multiple set pieces and a weapon, CoF enough for some set pieces(pre DR), as well as most explorable multiple times and every story mode multiple times. Out of all that ive gotten mabe a couple dungeon friends. There is hardly anything social about a dungeon run besides quickly saying what strategy to use and saying good job at the end.

If anything the DR system ruined what was left of dungeon social life. I made those few dungeon friends while i was spamming ac explorable pre DR and we all wanted to run with people who were efficient and knew what to do. Now that we get 60 tokens for a first run ive noticed a lot of people just running a path once for the day, effectively cutting off the need for people to stay with their party for multiple runs.

They are easy to deal with as others have said. On my warrior (hammer + dual maces) i can easily cc them at anytime. On my thief i keep enough initiative saved for a headshot to interrupt them and on the scavenger with defiance stacks i usually keep the stacks off or low enough to burst headshot interrupt it. On my necro i fear them off allys or while they are charging using staff 5 or deathshroud’s fear, they are usually ether dead or one of my fears is off cd by the time they can use the knockdown again.

You can dodge them easily too but dont stand to close afterwards because their aoe knockdown while channeling is larger then you’d expect

You need to run with me if you think melee is useless or cant hold their own in dungeons. Ive ran all (except for the last bosses of arah) explorables and there’s only a couple fights where i feel the need to range.

Dunno if this is a persistent bug since in the past ive had it happen but not for awhile afterwards however this time the dungeon bugged twice in a row.

I ran path 2 and near the end at the part where you have to protect the charr from the ghosts the event wouldnt activate. The first ghost that pops up and talks to charr did not show and the charr just followed us around.

Then hours later (just now) i ran path 1 and at the very end after we killed the final boss no cutscene played and we did not completion.

I got 4 ghastly weapons now, 2 pre token buff and 2 afterwards and none of them work like they are suppose to. They dont glow in dungeons or in already night zones.

I did however run a dungeon with guy who had the short bow and it glowed in the dungeon as well as when he zoned into a night area. The hell?

I just ran TA explorable and as soon as we finished the last boss and the completion popped up someone left the dungeon and we all get kicked and werent able to claim the tokens and exp..

Ghasly weapons

I ran a dungeon today with a guy who had the ghastly shortbow and his weapon glowed inside the dungeon and when he zoned into a night area meanwhile i have 3 ghastly weapons spread across 2 character and not once have they glowed inside a dungeon or when i zone into an area that’s already in the night cycle.

Ive never noticed that, however if it did i doubt you would be able to notice a damage increase seeing as they have defiant buff on 95% of the time. So it would just seem like they were doing their normal amount of damage.

Well I can tell you what works for me, my warrior is tanky and cc specced (using hammer and double maces) and i pretty much carry the whole group through the dungeon almost as easy as it was pre buff, the same goes for some of the other dungeons as well.

So my suggestion would be to reevaluate your spec. Glassy builds are horrible for dungeons imo and well coordinated cc makes any dungeon easy.

Tokens are NOT account bound

While yes the dungeon tokens say account bound now the coding behind them is still making them soulbound. I have not been able to transfer any tokens from any dungeon over to different characters through the bank.

Im going to hope that this is a bug especially since the diminishing return system applys to all characters on an account.

Is the diminishing return system account wide? I have 2 lvl 80’s so say if i run an explorable path on one character and get the full rewards then run the same path on my other character will i still get the full rewards?

Im having the exact same bug as the op stated 20 days ago. The quest bugs out after i kill the champion/veteran that is guarding the entrance to the tomb, Trahearne and the others just stand there and will not proceed to enter the tomb. Ive tried redoing the story a couple times and it still bugs at that part.

It only glows if you are in the zone while it transitions from day to night and not if you log in or teleport to a zone thats already in night cycle. Hopefully its a bug

They will only glow if i stay in the zone during the transition from day to night. If I waypoint into an area that is already in the night cycle my ghastly weapons will not glow. Even if I stay in a zone when it switches to night and they do start to glow, teleporting long enough distances (even on the same map) for there to be a loading screen will remove the effect.

Also the effect never shows in dungeons which is disappointing.
