It used to be that ravine at the end of the sewers in LA before it got destroyed. Don’t have any specific favorite place right now
well for a long time we could just play the game and pvp…they changed it for some reason. i know not why, but it is kinda lame. i play less now tbh because i dont like idle gaming time…let me go do a jumper with my pvx guild while sitting around in queue for 5 min….i dont want 5 sec of downtime while gaming tbh…i have to much energy to blow through.
I haven’t played GW2 consistently for three years, but I did play at launch, and I remember having to go to the hotm then, too. When was this time you’re talking about?
i have an idea, just let us play the game…instead of forcing us to sit any particular place. i personally miss farming pveland while queueg matches….why did anet stop it in the first place?
Yeah, of course. My suggestion would allow for that as we would not be forced into a specific instance. I was thinking about that just for a more general area to gather the community if they so desire along with merchants, leaderboards, arena vendors etc
Really, is there any reason for us to be in the dull and depressing PvP lobby in the mists? I don’t see why all the PvP spec, gearing and items can’t be just moved to the hero panel like everything else, and it just activates upon entering a pvp game. Moving us to Lion’s Arch would make the city feel less empty, both population wise and space wise. There’s a lot of “fluff” space in Lion’s Arch that isn’t really used for anything. I wish they’d move us there. Before it was destroyed, I always kinda wished they’d have moved us to the sewers, to give it an “illegal fighting” kind of feel.
Thoughts?
I believe what you recieved was an RNG drop. The only guaranteed exotics are account bound rewards relative to specific tracks. The bags you receive from them have the same loot tables as there PvE counterparts. Meaning you got touched by Cthuloot in this case (rip).
Meaning that I could get this again if I’m lucky enough?
Hey guys! I just got a dagger that’s worth 47G in a PvP reward track and it got me wondering. If I redo this track, am I still able to get exotics from it? In other words, is it possible to farm and sell exotics through PvP rewards tracks? I wanna sell it, but if it’s not obtainable through the reward track again I wanna keep it.
Welcome to the forums as I can tell you are new (or haven’t been here for a while) as this has been discussed many times now. That said, it is easy to miss now because there are so many new threads since the stress test. Please see the below discussion thread for details, but in the end, most people say yes as there is no reason to restrict a single class from using them. There are no special rewards or anything for being the first 80 Revenant.
Enjoy:

Yeah, I am rarely on the forums, so I apologize. Thanks for the info, it’s appreciated
Do you guys think ArenaNet will allow us to spam a Revenant character up to 80 in matter of minutes on launch day? I’m considering saving up tomes so that I can do this, but I would like to know if it will be possible or not.
Implement tiers. 1-3 month seasons. Rewards by tiers. Fairly simple.
Highest tier should get a temporary reward (custom weapon skin) that says they are the kings (or queens) of pvp last season. I think WvW has something similar?
Titles are always good. Some exclusive gear is also nice.
I think that would b e a great time for them to try to re-invent the goals of sPvP. I would really like for them to add proper seasons that last only a few months, with exclusive rewards for the top percentages, and some smaller rewards for other participants. This would give me incentive to play day in day out and try to get higher rated.
Do you think Anet has something cookin’, and what would you motivate you to login and battle it out in sPvP ?
In every thread I see someone complaining about an aspect of sPvP, I see people use the sentence <low playerbase> or something similar. I recently got back into the gamee, so I am not in the know, but from my impression it doesn’t seem THAT small. HoTM always seem pretty active, and there’s rarely more than 2 min queue.
Is it really that dead? If you had to estimate how many people play, what would you guess, and do you think HoT will revitalize the scene?
Well there’s a reason why this thread is posted so often, and that’s because it’s a real problem. Maybe Anet should wake up and adress it.
And exactly what is he exploiting ?
Personally I think that these Canadians should be forced to choose an US home server when ‘guesting’ becomes available, so that they can still play with their french speaking collegues, but not get this insane WvW advantage.
Hello. Writing long elaborative texts is not my strongest point, so I’ll just get straight to the point:
There’s a real problem on the European side when it comes to WvW, and that is the FR server. Why do you ask? Well, because of this: French Canadians have “homed” many of the [FR] servers, and this is very problematic in WvW. Why? Because when most of Europe is sleeping sound in their bed, these Canadians are on their prime time, and every night they cap – or almost cap all three maps. Even when there were 24hr rotations FR servers always came out top.
This is a real issue, and makes for a GREAT unbalance in WvW. Every morning and afternoon we [ENG]-EU servers have to fight just to take BACK what should be ours, before we can start challenging them. This is not fair.
If you look at the “Leaderboard” for EU, you can see that Vizunah Square is on top, and this attached screenshot was taken 5 min before I made this thread, at 04.48am +1 GMT. I also remind you that these are the TOP 3 EU servers.
Bought gem twice, haven’t recieved any of them yet, getting reallykitten off.
