YES it’s predictable! Man, you’re a genius that’s the perfect description for the Revenant, PREDICTABLE! I was exactly thinking of the same thing.
And do you know why I really really like the revenant??
yeah because enemies can target you and can SEE which legend you have currently ’’equipped’’ and after this point you are already done… now people who main other classes and want to remain like that might say now ‘’Well, that’s for counter play’’
Pfft! no it’s not! you only have 5 skills with a legend with none to choose from, that’s not for counter play! other player will see you then immediately know what you’re able to do. They are going to quickly burst you down when they see you popping you heal skill to not let you siphon HP from them ( In case the Revenant doesn’t do it himself by using Unrelenting Assault).They will dodge your Phase Traversal, blink to you after your Riposting Shadows and laugh at you when you have no more energy after Impossible Odds, knock you back/fear you/stun you/daze you/ launch you and make you float or whatever before Jade Wind finishes (yes I just gave some tips but many people will know these things by now) and btw they also see a gigantic animation when you switch a legend for the people who don’t know which looks awesome btw ( don’t get me wrong) it’s just that it makes you perfectly predictable and a victim of a lot of counters that you can’t stand atm.
SO, a quick question. What do you assume when seeing for example a thief? or a guardian? or a mesmer? Do you know which skills they might have in the right side of their skill bar? mostly the ’’meta’’ skills yeah but no you can’t tell by looking at them which skills you are going to try to ’’counter’’ that could be completely different on another thief he might have a different setup for his skills and you can’t predict them either,so?
Thanks for reading, I hope I made some things more ’’visible’’ for you guys, I can’t wait to see what the changes or improvements on the revenant are coming this time.
I hope they make the right decisions and really improve the profession so that it has less weak points than strengths. I hope so, I really do!

I really agree with Joshua, this needs to be in the game, let’s see it from this point.
Elementalists have weapon skills for every attunement,they have 4 attunements with 5 skills each AND now to the right side of the skill bar, what do you see??? exactly MANY sets of useful utility skills to choose from… sooo how exactly would this implementation destroy the revenant ’’class’’? Also,kidel if people have good and useful suggestion please don’t act stupid and try to change their mind, they are just trying to help others and the devs with new/better ideas, right?

I’m totally on your side, either cooldown or energy cost, I would prefer it to be energy cost, since it would be the only way to prevent the auto camping as well as being more useful, but the energy cost should be increased a bit and I think Revenants should start with 100% energy so that you can manage your energy better

Now to the Shiro Legend Skills:
Heal Skill: The initial heal is really low and you can’t use it as a real HEAL SKILL which are intended to be used when you are about to die but no this one is a really low heal AND a 1 second cooldown on the dagger which means the damage spike is lower as well as the healing part?… hmm okay thanks for that very useful healing skill
Ripsoting Shadows: Good skill, leave it as it is
Phase Traversal: Increase the damage a tiny bit and make us INVULNERABLE OR EVADING incoming attacks
Impossible Odds: Great Skill, just a condi clear (GW 1) would be nice too, or we have nothing to wash away the guardian burn stacks
Jade Wind : great skill! leave it as it is

So first, the auto attack chain does decent damage except that I really DON’T know why it has a half second cast time which swords for other professions have not,I’m absolutely sure that they are instant cast,it’s looking good too except the last animation which looks a bit wierd and I can’t really see what’s going on there
Skill 2: the damage is a bit weak, I would increase it a bit and also add a WHIRL FINISHER because that’s totally needed except you wan’t the profession to be like necromancers,the chill length is okay I wouldn’t suggest to make it longer
Skill 3: Okay now,this skill is the most underpowered skill I have ever seen, you can’t control it either AND it has NO EVADE on it plus the damage is WEAK
let’s compare it to a sword/pistol Thief: Pistol Whip NO COOLDOWN .. do you see this? NO cooldown, only cost is 6 initiative which is the thiefs source of energy anyways let’s continue, Pistol Whip hits 9 times, stuns your opponent for a half second and has evade on it for the whole duration of the skill AND it has great DPS, this skill was supposed to get me hyped for the Revenant and it just doesn’t make any sense to leave it that WEAK… Unrelenting Assault costs 15 energy AND has a ten second cooldown…NO EVADE and the DPS is just LOW and it feels like getting hit by a fly for the opponent, I also think that you should be able to switch off hitting foes you don’t want to hit, which is REALLY REALLY annoying, it also just makes sense because I think that a Revenant should be able to control who he is attacking… don’t you think???
Up next is Skill 4: It’s a good skill, yeah it really is… except that I still get hit by crits
yep you heard right.. the supposed to be block skill doesn’t work right then, let’s get to Shackling Wave,the skill that you can use after blocking an attack, the damage is really low increase it and add 3 vuln stacks or just increase th damage
The last one Skill 5: This one is okay except the damage,just make is higher PLEASE also let us evade during sliding back or whatever we do there OR JUST MAKE US INVULNERABLE SO THAT IT’S NOT BEING COMPLAINED THAT IT’S OVERPOWERED, concept is pretty nice but first get it to work please, the pull doen’t work sometimes even on mobs WITHOUT defiance or the break bar
Thanks for reading till here, please think about there concerns it would make every Sword Shiro Revenant a lot happier and they might start liking Sword 3 again (BUFF DMG PLEASE, STAFF DOES WAY MORE DPS THAN SWORD) also Unrelenting Aussault destroys your DPS Spike because of the low damage

Hey Roy, I’d love to see the energy bar as well as the green mist above the skill bar go RED for shiro’s legend, ventari already has it green and that makes it a little bit more distinct when it’s red, red is also one of shiro’s main colors so it would fit pretty well please think about this, it would make me a lot happier too.
