Guild Wars 2

Guild arenas when originally announced were supposed to be a place for guilds to gvg, while they somewhat are however there are things that need to be fixed in order to allow bigger gvgs. First off the guild arena is way too small for any gvg bigger than a 5v5, most gvg guilds prefer to do 15v15 or 20v20 gvgs (Fix make arena bigger). Second the arena shouldn’t show player names, because that allows for drivers to easily be focused and can cause lackluster fights (Fix make generic player names when in arena like Blue team player). These two fixes alone would make the arena much more viable for gvgs and I’m sure there are a few more feel free to add.

Epic fights tonight BG, mostly BT on DB BL. Twas crazy and filled with a bunch of lag but when it didn’t lag I really enjoyed it hope you guys keep it clean on the forums and keep fighting hard in wvw. Also ty for letting me test my war again fighting in the madness of wvw. i went in with a pve build at first and was like kitten that ptv or go home. :P

Whispering my members with your insults on a daily basis is overboard. Going after PRX members (who is still a guild on JQ btw) is also very bad.

This is a game, we are doing what is best for our members, our roster and our situation. We tried to let everyone know so there wouldn’t be any issues or lingering drama, everyone else in a JQ leadership position has had no problems with being supportive of our move as well as anyone that still wanted to stay on the server. Please try to respect that and the people that are still your server mates that you are alienating.

Honestly I want JQ and yourself to be successful. Hopefully we will be able to have some fun fights soon on a Borderland.

I talk with some of your members daily as they are on my friends list and have done so since before Prx was on their 3rd or 4th server move. If they talk to me I’m not the type not to give my opinion, which of course is pretty negative of any NA guild going to SoR. SoR itself states they don’t want anymore NA guilds, so do most people with any sort of backbone or semblance of honor. But as I said to the couple folks, I won’t hold the guild officers decision making against them personally just the people in charge.

Also I’ve been trying to recruit the Dove for almost a full year, but he’s in another guild. Love that guy in wvw watching the pins back. SoR’s #1 guilds have been looking for a reason to stop 2v1 BG like it’s our job (currently we are killing TC.) You being who and what you are should suffice. See you on the field!

BG only knows how to cry or chest thump, its fine. Let them cry stacked when we’re only winning by 17k while they won by nearly 30k last week. One guild doesn’t make that big a difference. Theres been multiple instances where you guys have had top tick during EU, and chest thumped quite a bit, even this week. Please make up your minds.

Comparing 1st place to 3rd place last week and 1st place to second place this week is not the same. Try comparing yours against jq as they are in 3rd. Keep trying to skew the numbers in your favor. As for just BG against SoR, that would be near a 50k point swing. Kind of a big point swing. As for one guild, did you forget about Song? Or do they not count?

Edit: no disrespect for choo. Highly skilled guild but keep the numbers fair and don’t look past jq as a server. I think what we are seeing is fairweather players. They came out for SoR after the addition of iron and kiss, and they came out for us after playing jq and db.

I’m comparing the score difference between the two servers always kittening at each other. I’m don’t mean any offense to JQ if thats how its seen. I may have forgotten Song since I rarely do SEA, another mistake, so two guilds, even though we still normally tick lowest at SEA.

That 3rd makes a difference, they definitely can help whoever they want to win and luckily they play to fight whoever they want and not pick one side to hit, besides last week when they took there chance for 2nd. A 50k point swing is a big difference even from 2 guilds. However, It probably boils down to fairweathers. There is some hidden irony though. If SoR really is in it for the fights then turning away guilds is what should of been done. But it isn’t and that’s in the past. Who’s the next guild coming over and to what server.

I do think the guild Pro that Supposively just joined jq is from FA. But if they have the same numbers from when I was on FA they won’t make much of an impact in the score.

They are from BG but they won’t cause a large swing since majority of our fair weather players left jq, but we still appreciate them coming to our server and helping out any way they can. They had a com leading on JQ bl and was doing really good, keep up the good work Pro. On JQ we treat any and all transfers with respect even the ones that don’t tell us and give us a nice surprise. :P

A lot of these posts are conflicting about the whole hardcore thing. The whole NA servers don’t use tactics is bull of course blobbing does affect that some but we still use tactics and map command decide how to get the 2v1 on something how to deal with the 2v1 or something along the lines of main force go to n hills and get the gate down while a second group goes to s hills to cut off reinforcements. Another thing we do a lot is we split forces to make a team choose what they want to keep. (The tactics thing is bs NA uses tactics and so does EU) The only difference is that NA servers blob and EU don’t as much that def doesn’t mean that the NA commanders aren’t as good as EU commanders. The good NA commanders have to deal with the difficulty of blobs which requires a lot of skill and patience. (There are many skilled commanders in NA)Dealing with pugs is one of the most stressful thing of being a NA com and knowing that only half of the group will follow you this way the other half will die and you must expect that and plan for it tactically. NA and EU are all respectful servers that have their advantages and disadvantages saying EU is better than NA in wvw is bull and saying NA is better than EU is also bs. This whole argument is pointless we are the same with only slightly varying play styles. ( Old vizunah player back when there was free transfers -1 month of EU-)

I really don’t know where the Agg hate is coming from but if it’s coming from our enemies then they must be doing something right.

It has been a complete blast fighting along side Agg since they have been on JQ. The coordination between us has pushed many enemies out of their tower and keeps.

Agg don’t worry about BG or SoR except for when you are spamming your brand new AoE loot keybind to pickup all the bags. JQ is glad to have you.

That Agg/WARD/ACO group in SoRBL last night was one giant ball of hate. While it was not fun being on the receiving end of the abuse, I just want to say that was some of the best multi-guild coordination I have seen in awhile, both at Briar and Bay.

There is def people that do that trust me someone in my guild has stayed up for 4 days strait, he also has 7 legendaries to show for because of the long hours he plays and someone else in my guild has 11 legendaries. Not sure if she stays up late but assuming she does.

If they find that a fulfilling way to spend life, good on them. I just wasn’t impressed by the personal tone of Jahns post, in that it made an assumption that I am unemployed and play games 20 hours per day. I have 2 jobs, and go to uni full time – since the holidays have started a lot of people including myself have more free time and a few of us chose to play games for whatever reason. Knock off the statements about RL unless you actually have a clue.
