I agree. Terrible wording. A slap in the face to any other long-time player who submitted their email. But let’s not kid ourselves. This is not a real “beta” where a gaming company is looking for testers. It’s a demo open to random players.

Yeah its just demo version what we seen on PAX, but still what makes some players “most loyal”…

Money, time, support over all years since GW1?
I really LOVE Anet and GW1/2 and i will continue support no matter what.

His Bday was just few days before

OMG, i will miss him so much! :‘(
He was person who didn’t know to say NO.
First time when he saw GW2 at my home he become so exited to get copy of GW2 and to play.
Last night when i visit him and told all new info about HOT, he become so happy.
But this morning everything had change.
No more is smile, no more his draws about GW2, no more him.

I don’t know what to do anymore!

Since season 2 started i have problem with black screen.
Every 5/10 min i get BS. This is nightmare!
Tryed with support nothing helped.

-Turn off FW on win 8.1 – DONE
-Turn off FW on router – DONE
-Run GW2 as admin – DONE
-Windowed mode – DONE
-Reinstal win 8.1 – DONE
-Repair GW2 client – DONE
-Delete and instal GW2 again – DONE
-New router – DONE
-Turn off 3D on nvidia control panel – DONE
-Multiscreen off – DONE

I dont know what to do anymore!
I love this game, but i can’t play anymore cause of black screen :’(

Is there any hope that i will able to play GW2?

I think ANet need to see from this how they NEED to talk more with players.

If they talk with us before update this would never happen.
They should add new things not to lock old one. This wont fix any problem.

Give us just chanse to use experience scrolls above lvl 20

My hope is that we gonna see some really good expansion or standalone game like GW1.

Before GW2 was out we had bloog almost everyday about some info now we have to wait few months to see something new.
POI is great, why don’t use that to talk more about what we can see in future, players are not asking that you tell us everything. Everything what we get is “we can’t talk”

Trust me I LOVE ANET SINCE GW1 and still for me ANET is the best game developer studio ever! <3

It has pass 2 years still no news about EXP no news about anything…
LW is fun but its not that long to last more then few hours. Gemstore become main thing in this game, only cool items are in gemstore…

GW1 was great “every” 6 months we get stand alone game with a lo of new staff to do!

What we get now?
Two week updates (whic you finish in 2/3 hours), a lot of grind for BK items, achivments…

Cmon ANet do something HUGE with this game!!!

Home instance

Why dont use this as character progression?
Atm home instance in only for personly story and nodes nothing else.
Give us option to unlock mystic forge, craft stations, bank, portals to ur faction (order of whisper, etc) special merchants (exchange skill points to lvl up alts), etc…
Build ur home! <3

Upgrade ur home instance something like guild upgrades (by using skill points or something else) where you can make some cool events.

The legend

Make panel where you can exchange skill points to unlock new skills, items, and other character options.
-Repair ur armor free once per day,
-Special emotes,
-Upgrade ur finisher bronze/silver/gold effects,
-Special auras for dance, etc…
-Upgrade mini pets to pick up items,
-If you have open Radiant achivment armor parts, unlock Hellfire too,
-Summon merchant once per day,
-Summon trade post,
-Guild Bank,
-More chanse to loot dye,
-Less cost of WP…

I think there is tones of options to add here.

Main reason why i join to WvW was finisher…
What did i get?
250 silver one for finishing meta WvW achivment :S
I was hopeing for gold one. Cause my server was first and i done meta achivment!
When i saw 250 finishers…

This is so sad Anet, only 3 achivment needed for gold perma finisher!!!
I would sleep in WvW just to get it.

And every game offer free updates. GW2 was beta-released game and now i must be happy with “new” content? When Anet make something big so it certainly will not be free but release in a new DVD.

End game in GW2 is different to everyone.
For me is to lvl up all classes like i did in GW1.

To do Dungeons, Fractals, spvp, wvw just for fun.

I been doing fractal with PUG.
We done last boss on lvl 14 and party leader left before everyone loot the chest. No one doesn’t looted items beside him cause other guys been ress me.
Everyone was kicked from fractal before we loot.

Hope Anet can fix this.

I don’t believe that will be the case after the patch. They are bolstering legendary weapons up to match the new tiers level if my comprehension of their latest info is correct.

Still you will have change to get new weapons via dungeons, tokens… etc with same stats.

I play GW2 all the time, new gear more reason to play with main character. So yeah i will!

Afterall Anet isnt full to lose all players just cause as you say “p2w” items cause they have plans fore more expansion in future.
