There’s always people that finds a reason to discredit others inputs. If he’s successful using that build and you don’t it’s because he can and good for him, that’s why people asks him to show his build. I use a vanilla condi necro with some variations and I’m fighting a position to top 50 with that build so you don’t have to be a meta boy to perform well, keep up the good work mate.

Actually this is a real problem and should get devs attention, it has happened to me many times. It happens when the load screen before entering a match takes more time than usual, then I know I’ll be stuck somewhere in the map and won’t be able to play eventhough I relog or log off the game. If I log off, it would say there’s a game in progress and I cannot enter, if I relog it will load the screen for the map for a long time and then I’ll stuck in the void again.

Learn to read people it’s: “Structured PvP will also be updated with a custom arena map for 2v2 battles…”, means a custom arena “map” for 2v2 battles, not the custom arena we know.

soloq to legend 3 times this season, currently at gold 3 (because it religiously puts people who are allergic to winning on my team OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER the same people, THE SAME LOSSES)

it legitimately doesnt matter that I AM WINING 1V2 AND 1V3 because my team IMMEDIATELY leaves capped points to 3 or 4 man home, and has NO IDEA where they should be on the map to begin with.

You mean you were in legend 3 times? I wonder how the system placed you higher than others in the first place (maybe because of your high win ratio, which doesn’t have anything to do with the new system though), now you say you’re in gold t3. According to your last gameplay in your channel, I think you’re in the right place dude, maybe you’re a little better than average gold 3 players, but higher platinum I really doubt it.

Yes, it doesn’t rate personal performance, you clearly contributed more but I guess not in the important fights. The final score is not that bad though, probably one or two bad rotations made your team lose the match, or maybe some mistake could be anything that can turn around a match.

Here, core necro in plat 2, sometimes plat 1. However, the lack of AOE damage and pressure with Reaper does play an important role in higher tiers, so I feel the ‘barrier’ once I reach 1750. An initial percentaje of Life Force would help us here.

That’s a clear proof of that player using hacks or some sort of undiscovered exploit right there, anet should take this seriously and ban this guy.

To be honest it’s too early (only 4 days out of 55 since S5 started), placement matches are a thing as you can get “lucky” as many players state. At the moment top 10, 20, etc still doesn’t represent 100% the actual high tier players (not enough data or games played), lots of them are climbing up from gold due to the placement matches not in their favour. I’m no expert but I think that eventually as the season progresses, and people have 200+ games played and not 20 and be placed top 10, top 250 will be more representative.

I myself got placed in bronze tier 3, I have no idea why but I knew I could get out of there and made it to gold tier 2 where I struggled a bit since I was getting matched with players doing their placement matches probably. Games here were back and forth and a bit frustrating, but I still felt I could go higher. So I commited a bit more and now I’m climbing to platinum tier 3, games here are more competitive and people actually know what they’re doing which is satisfying, at this point losing a match is not a big deal since they’re fun and competitive.

lol looks like it’s getting easier to reach legendary every new season. Got legen first 2 seasons then I just lost interest for the lack of good matches after legen. Oh I remember, managed to reach legendary in S3 playing exclusively core necro with a terror build, that was fun, took like 174 games or so, but made it work. Many of my guildies who reached legen also abandoned persuing this since the MM got worse. Hopefully it improves so it gets the attention of good players again.

You need to drastically improve your gameplay guys (OP and the first reply), those win ratios less than 40% clearly shows that you’re not doing enough, at this point I think the matchmaking system will only place you with players in similar conditions which is terrible if you want to climb up divitions. That’s very few matches won compared to the total played and certainly affects your progress. I would suggest you play the class you know the most and use an effectice build. If I were in this situation I would go and play a damage dealer build with good mobility.

To the OP, you made it in 3 nights from Amber to Legen, sorry for being realistic, but you totally missed playing with the tougher players that are now in Legen (x2+). That’s why it’s easier to climb up to Legen now at the end of the season, which doesn’t mean you don’t deserve to be in Legen, you probably do, but evidently is easier now.
