Anet can make the exotic runes you obtain from Mystic Forge using soulbound/accountbound runes soulbound/accounbound, in this way people throw them in the forge only to obtain something usefull for themself and not for gold.

We need to know what devs think about this, because it’s a so stupid things from every angle you watch it.
Here’s something you can do: bind the rune to a piece of common or fine armor, which will make the armor account bound. Put it into your bank. Use a master or BL salvage kit to extract the rune into the inventory of your desire character.
Very interesting! But is stupid, and expensive, that we have to do this iter to make it “account bound”.
Thanks for the headsup on this. I’ll be sure to let our items folks know about the rune being soul bound. That seems odd to me!
They are still soulbound, so now, with about a year of delay, can you let us know why this odd thing still happen?
I bring up this old topic because I found assurd that Superior Sigils and Rune that you find, that are exotic items, are just like trash items. Don’t you think the same?
Inscription is Air 10 and is powerful in a glyph build.
Maybe you are talking about Quick Glyphs.
I’m using Male #8 for my main.
I took Vital Striking pre-patch out of choice. Now it seems Vital Striking is the best option out of necessity. I feel for pure support ele. This patch must be a bitter pill to swallow.
I’ve been running 0/30/0/20/20 with Vital Striking, Piercing Shards and scholar runes in pve since fresh air patch. I’m able to pull off 15k-19k fire grabs, pretty fun to play

I think that Water Magic line was created to be more supportive than for dps, but now it’s not so.
If you want a specific type of build, you’ll need to specialize into it. That’s the point of the entire trait system.
I want to specialize in Water, but now I don’t find a worthy adept trait! It’s very annoying that I waste a Major trait in this way, even if only an Adept one.

Yeah, this is the problem: the water adept traits now are too much situational and not predictable.
Piercing Shards —> Deal more damage only if in water and foes have vulnerability
Vital Striking --> Deal more damage only if you have 90% or more health
Soothing Wave —> Regen only when somone crit you
Arcane Abatement --> Area effect only when you take fall damage
Shard of Ice —> Never seen this usefull on its own
Cantrip Mastery --> Only usefull if you use Cantrips
So if you take Water Magic you have to use Cantrips or hope that the situations you meet will make the trait you have equipped usefull.

Only if you use Cantrips and I personally prefer Arcane Skills. Usually I have one Cantrip in my skill bar, but most of the time I don’t need that it recharges more often. Also we have 4 Cantrips, 5 Arcane, 5 Signet and 6 Glyphs. Pretty unbalanced distribution.
Geomancer’s Freedom and Enduring Damage work in all attunements.
I’d like to know from you what water adept trait now is worth taking. I like to be supportive for the party, but they moved all the interesting traits to Master tier and now I don’t know what trait pick. I’m thinking also that peraphs it’s better to not invest in water at all.
The same happen to me.
This is a very nice idea, that can make feel your personal story more personal.
You don’t obtain Quartz Crystals anymore, so that section of the wiki isn’t valid for the actual Sanctum Sprint.

Are you sure you talked to the right person? You have to go to the room with the water and talk to the ghost in there.
I want back my 6 skill points so I can buy other skills.
One thing I would like to see in this forum is a Profile Image. With it will be simpler to follow discussions, because the talkers will be easily recognizable.
I think that the best thing would be let us choose one of our characters and use its portrait as our profile image, so that everyone can have a personal image, but the image will be controllable by your staff.

You can change it going in Forum Profile and then Edit Profile.
All racial skills are non usable underwater, so all Elementalist have only one elite skill usable underwater.
I think that all Story Mode Dungeons must be soloable, because this mode is more for the story, like the name said, than for dungeon and because you have to do all the Story Mode Dungeons to understand the story.
I don’t get it. The bottom “Play” is not working. And I can’t verify my Authentication. Clicking button “Send”, but it sas: “Your email address in not valid”. And I honestly have no idea what to do.
I’ve got the same problem after the today update.
Same for me: two Cimmara Pistolwhip were in the same place of Wroda the Quick.

Today I opened my client and the update started. During the download I experience a connection problem, so I had to restart the client. After that the download restarted and all seems to work properly, but when I click “play” a serious error occurs.
