Is there a way to take a pole and see how many of us have AMD cards. I have a suspicion that it is mostly folks with AMD cards having the issue.
I’m on an i7-4770k @ 4.0Ghz with 16GB RAM and an EVGA 750Ti @ 1320/6200. It’s had a severe effect on my performance.
Is that a Nepton 280L ? .. i could be wrong
It is. I swapped the fans out to Be Quiet! Pure Wings 2 140s, though.

You can use Judge’s Intervention on white mobs, but you’ve got to know where they are (if there at all).
Frequent driver crashes on a stable release would indicate a faulty card or overclock. If you want to isolate the speed, downclock the card to stock levels. This was an known issue with the XFX cards (I experienced it personally). I’m not sure where MSI feel in that spectrum.
Although, it’s kind of junk to pay for the factory OC and then have to remove it to reach stability with the card. RMA is the right course of action.
My initial build should’ve handled GW2 without much issue – 1035T OC’d, 16GB DDR-1600, and 4890s in CF.
When I moved to a 2500k, 8GB of RAM, and a (temporary) 7770, game play significantly improved.
kitten those IPCs.

While plausible, it’s becoming more evident that this issue is wide spread and somehow connected with the April patch (most assumed as a problem with the mega-server implementation). I do appreciate you posting some helpful links, however and was not trying to discredit you (more of an FYI).

I’ve never had any issues with GW2 lag (that I couldn’t account for) prior to April’s feature patch and I started playing at launch. Now I lag out about every 20 minutes, making game play all but impossible. A few nights ago I was forced to repeat the same story quest 3 times because I would lag out before it was completed.
When I hit the character screen, I can immediately log back in like nothing ever happened. Then the connection begins to degrade until I’m lagged out and have to start the process over.
