My guild does weekly lotteries, so far we’ve not quite gotten up to 500g but we have have been right at the door. And they send the gold to me, as I head up the lotto. So, I am a bit concerned that this will hinder future lotteries.

There have been 2 complete sets so far. They are added and removed with the living story. They are meant only be out a short amount of time (so far)

I’ve finished all of the hunger games points, can’t bear the pains of the arena though, not even 1/2 done

ANet, I am really kitten ed off at you for this. This mini game is too long, and the karka are too powerful, blah, blah blah.

I don’t give a crap what others say, this is the most entertaining mini game yet!
The ONLY bad part is that I only have 2 weeks to enjoy it.

What do you view as “normal players”? 1h/week in spvp?! Seriously, if you have 3-10g, you either play extremely little, only spvp or are just doing it wrong. I got pretty much all I wanted from it(mostly extra karma) and so did my fiancé(quagan mini). No real money was spent, at least not our real money. Overall, a fairly good event made with a large audience in mind. Enjoy what you can, let go of the rest.

PS: I just wish I could gift the minis….

I would simply like to state that this post goes against everything GW2 was suppose to be about. GW2 was suppose to be for evvery type of player, the spvp shut in, the 1h/week busy body, the no life 24/7s, even the the hourly casual. By saying that they are doing it wrong is in no way supporting Anet, in fact, in a backwards way, you are insulting them as well.

And thus the conspiracy has started! xD

I’m a level 80 Guardian and clear these presents while clearing maps. Its pretty easy. Since I’m an Asuran, I like to hop on top of them and pretend to be an elf for 5-10 seconds saying “Do not pop the present whilst the elf remains on it.” Even though there is rarely anyone by. Once I’ve had my fun though, I pop a stability skill, put down a field or two, pull out my greatsword, pop the present, and dominate the wee lil devils inside. Occasionally one or two escapes the full extent of my wrath and survives but at that point they just take a few hits to kill.

These toys are the devil. xD Here is an interesting theory that I over heard a player say, I do not know if its been posted on here though.

Tixx is evil, all of these “malfunctioning” turrets and toys are just his way of testing to ensure he can control them. So far, Toxx has malfunctioned in 2/2 towns which could suggest he is trying to perfect her killing capability.

Perhaps the Toypacalpse is merely a way for a sadistic asuran to try and take over the world.

Would be nice of Anet to tell us why….

I was wondering if anyone could offer up some quick ways to get a decent about of coins in a short period of time. I have found that most places I go to in attempt to make money, I end up losing all I earned in repairs. As such, I bring it to the other players in an attempt for help.

Any advice/help/tips offered is much appreciated.

I believe one spawns at the end of an event chain in the Straits of Devastation. It is at Monastery of Tughra PoI in Elysium Beach. The merchant/event star’s name is Agent Raia. I BELIEVE she sells them but can not be 100% sure. None the less, its a place to check.

While I believe his to be a splendid idea and a character class that I would make in a heartbeat, I believe that it is also a little too soon to create another type of character. I think this should be added with an expansion, but definitely added.

I’m not really sure how to phrase this so please, bear with me. Also, if you can think of a better way to say it, or have anything to add, please do so.

When an eventt is happening near a Way Point, that Way Point becomes contested. This makes sense but it gets very annoying when out of control. I play at night most of the time and as such a lot less players are online which means events tend to stack up. This is unfortunate, especially when in the Straits of Devastation. I tend to play alone late at night and as such I die fairly frequently. More often than not, when I die, every way point near me is contested, meaning that I can not go there. That is very disappointing when you are in the middle of the Straight of Sacrilege and have to go all the way back to Underbelly Waypoint.

What I am suggesting is to create a way that people can use those way points, or revive in some other way that you don’t have to wait for another player or revive orb. That way you don’t have to go all the way back to the beginning of the map.

Also, I’m on right now and counted that the 8 nearest waypoints to me (I’m at The Vizer’s Tower near Shark’s Teeth Archipelago) are all currently contested. If I were to die, I’d have too long of a run back. This is very annoying for when you are trying to complete the map.
