The rez starts when the body get teleported. So lets talk reaction times. 1sec invun rez while the pet starts rezzing. Then the druid rezzes as the body is next to them, 1sec. This means the player took 1 sec to find the body. Unless you have a teleport you are missing the stomp. This includes final strike (not even the first two hits of impact) which is faster than a regular stomp. All the cleave on the body is gone and poison is removed (I believe, I haven’t seen poison stay on a body). 2secs to find a body, get real the person is back in the fight.

1 Ranger is fine, with CD. I’m OK with being able to teleport through walls or up ledges (meaning druid doesn’t even have to be in team fight just outside the walls of middle in somewhere like kylo). 2 is silly. That’s 2 almost insta-rezzes. Unless you drop both druids at the same time or 1 druid twice. Now do this while you have 2 classes peeling for the druid. If you don’t the CD on the first is usually back up by the time you drop someone for a 3rd time.

During a game in a team fight we dropped a power ele 3 times, and couldn’t apply enough pressure in 2 secs to down a body. So yes really, this is dumb. Thank god class stacking was taken out of ESL.

Lol you may prefer dps wars to bunker wars but its the exact opposite meta. When 90% of classes spam condi like chewing bubble gum and now thieves back stab for 9k, its still a terrible meta.

On my ele i went to water/arcane/tempest since earth trait line isnt any good anymore and i can win my 1 vs 1 but die instantly in 1 vs 2.

Like any other class? If you lost a 1v2 don’t feel bad, on equal footing the 2v1 is always gonna win. You needed a teammate rotation for a 2v2 and you didn’t get one.

On my warrior i can sustain a tiny bit but mesmers/thiefs spam so much condi and blind its a bit frustrating. Also the fact that engy has better base dmg in melee and guardians cant be attacked with there F3 skill just feels dumb.

Condi thf hahaha. Other than that it sounds like you were outplayed and not rolling to avoid D/P 3. I was two shot by a GS 3 + F2 yesterday cause thfs are paper when they get hit by something.

Apparently Basilisk Venom is now the most insanely OP elite ever (meanwhile Deflecting Shot + Heavy Light), and we will be hearing “10k auto OP pls nerf!” on top of “Omg 50k Backstab OP pls nerf!”

See using BV is giving up Impact. With the stomps being affected this patch, this elite will be invaluable and you can still give it haste for a quick stomp. Also as for BV being unblockable most will miss the BS. Literally will only hit if they steal + BS. They have to miss their set up or have enough stealth pre battle.

WILCO! I am, how’s it going? Still doing PvP?

So I quit the game for 6 months or so and went to go play FFXIV for the PvE. Now that I am sick of PvE I want to get back into some good ole’ PvP because PvP in FFXIV (HORRIBLE). So I used to play within the top tier (I’d say platinum level if we were refering to SC2). Never advanced too far with a team and was usually pulled in as a pug. So if you interested in picking up a player that is willing to put in the time to get back into the swing of things and dominate face hit me up with a PM here or in game.

Seems that way. Because being not only downed, but killed entirely, by any class with knockback from being pushed into a hole is going to promote skill in this already fuster clucked game of spammable garbage.

This trashy map better not be on tournament rotation. That shouldn’t matter to me, but really, I feel bad for all those serious tPvP’ers out there who try to take this game … seriously … when Arenanet feels as though they should take it upon themselves to make a gimmicky garbage map like this and then force players to play it without even letting them test it and give feedback! Pure … genius … sigh

But then again, making gimmick maps like this while creating even more of a mess out of the balance of the game by adding more conditions to an already condition heavy Meta … I think I smell PvE interfering with PvP!

And they claim this game is “PvP oriented” ! Hah! This map is going to suck, hands down.

This is perfect…. and I have played the map unless you have ungodly amounts of stability get ready to throw your computer by the people thinking their good cause they can 4.5+ sec fear you off the map from the middle. Or get moa’d on a blue square…have fun you can’t jump -_-

The 15 points in the first tree are my personal taste for a tad more burst but they can be put else where. I personally like weakness but the extra 5 in acrobatics with the heal/init is decent. Offhand: SB with fire sigil. Main hand sigils are: 5% dmg and +dmg on kill. Now the runes are a personal choice. Lyssa offers condi removal, stability, and is good for a + crit chance, while if played well enough scholar is fantastic.

Utils: Withdraw, Shadow Step, Infil Signet, and the last is your choosing. Personally, I run shadow trap and use it both offensive/defensively ( fury and 10 might stacks is yummy), but Signet of agility is pretty good here too, and basilisk.

The main point of the build is to be really annoying (all them dodges) which can differ by which class your playing. That will be for you to figure out, I can’t spoil all the fun for you. Do not end up being too aggressive, you will die if you stop thinking (unlike a BM ranger, or possibly a necro atm). What I mean here is do not tunnel vision and always be watching dodges, skills, etc. Fights might take awhile but if you keep up pressure you’ll more than likely win any 1v1 and be able to escape being the focus in team fights.

So as the title states I am current looking for a team and play both Necro and Thf very well. I have dipped into Engi, Ranger, and Guardian but do not enjoy their play styles. I have also attempted Ele but only in a few hot joins.

I have played with “higher” Tiered people and I do have the communication skills to play in a team….just need to build synergy with people.

-1.3k Tournies under the belt about 65% win status without being in a serious team.
-Don’t care too much about the LB as I solo que in tournies for kicks and giggles.
-Able to make practice and can be on any VoIP ever.
-I have a working mic and decent connection.

I am currently looking to form a team. We will be compete in tournies and hopefully be decent enough to stand toe-to-toe with other top teams. We will be on NA and be practicing at least 3 times weekly. Hours have not been set so those will be negotiable.
Right now, we have a thief and mesmer. So we are looking for classes that are not these unless you are remarkable and then one of us can play something else. We will be dueling and talking with people who are interested, for both parties to see if its a fit for them. I’m rank 30 play a thief condition spec myself and there is nothing i haven’t encountered on my thief that I can’t kill in under 10 seconds. The best bunker guardian with awesome condition removal will crumble before me. I get a 4 second daze from my steal and switch to my pistol’s vs bunkers and burn them down by mixing blind, bleed, and high unload spike dmg while timing my daze with the stolen over the top insane daze for 4 seconds.

My question to you is how little common sense can you have to not realize when your playing something set to monkey easy mode in pvp?

Have you ever won a tournament in another game for real life cash?

Have you ever been ranked by game pro as one of the best pvpers in a game?

Have you come in .01% in the ranking system of any pvp game with over 10 million players?

Because if you have you would never embaress yourself by defending a class this overpowered.

so all 8 teams play yes? then 4 are kicked out the game (stupid idea for a game were u have to wait for 1-3 hours to play paid) then 2 more kicked out then 1 winner?

so 2 teams get to practice all 3 maps against good teams great but stupid for the other 6 teams.

how about the 8 teams play 4 lose then the 4 winning teams go against eachother in 2 legacy maps. but lets have the 4 losers go against eachother in leagacy also.

then the 2 winning legacy teams play for 1st and second place in kylo like normal but have the 2 losing teams play in kylo for 3rd and 4th place.

then from the losing side the winners of legacy play for 5-6 place and the losers play eachother for 7-8th place in kylo.

lets record in stats what places ppl get from 1-8th place (most ppl will play just for bragging rights)

1st place = 120 gems
2nd place =100 gems
3rd place = 80gems
4th place = 70gems
5th place = 3 tickets 20 gems
6th place = 3 tickets
7th place = 2 tickets 10 gems
