Why do they have the time to answer on these kind of post but not on the fact that Season one turns out to be better than season 2?

What I’m about to say is based on my experience and only mine. You may agree or not but don’t rage over it.
To start with I’d like to say that I love Guild Wars 2 and it has brought me loads of fun. I made friends, legendaries and I do like the story that it contains.
The reason that i’m here today is basicly the state of the game. The state it’s in now and has been for a while now.

PvP these days makes me go berserk. Losing 5 times in a row cause of people DC’ing makes me a unpleasant person to play with so for other peoples sake I stop doing PvP. Same goes for being a soloqueue person and getting matched up against full premades. Watching how 1 person can ruin the game for the other 4 by just AFKing or who stops playing cause it’s 50-0. What can we do against all this? nothing we just have to waste 5-10 minutes of our time till it’s over.

PvE is fun and all but it’s fun if you enjoy making alts and do world completion over and over. The new HoT maps are on a timer so if you can’t get online at the right time well to bad you ain’t getting in. Dungeons were something I liked, farming them was my main income and now? Either you leave them be or you have to run them with people who have no clue how to. Not to sound elitist but I liked to race through it. Fractals well we all know the problem with fractals and frankly the rewards aren’t great enough to make me forget dungeons. Nothing, in my opinion, in this game is properly rewarded nor do you get good loot for being good at the game. Bottomline is you can get legendaries if you are willing to farm 24/7 and do nothing else in the game. call me old fashioned but I like to be challenged and rewarded accordingly. Something Arenanet still doesn’t get.

So what I want to say after all this wall of text is that I (we) Payed for this game some of us maybe bought gems( to buy outfits which basicly should be gear we can find in game…). What did we get in return? An excuse here, a promise there ‘till the day arrives and the promise isn’t kept.
-WvW overhaul we need to wait a little longer
- fractals ‘made better’, I don’t see any difference
- Pvp leagues were a mess from the start

To close of I would just like to add that Anet needs to step up their game, Cause people like me aren’t going to support it any longer if they acting like this, bringing us unfinished products. I payed anet for their promises and I believe it’s time they start to deliver

I and sadly so many others have the same feeling. The game is starting to become an endless grind. For example, if you are going for Nevermore you’ll need the precursor. To obtain that precursor you need to the the collection. all is fine till that point. Cause once you start with the collection it’s not about how good you are at the game it’s about how many times you are able to do a Wood chopping run a day. If for instance you can only play 2 hours a day you should be farming wood instead of running around and enjoying the game. If you like to farm than there’s no problem but if you don’t … well basicly bye bye legendary cause imo there is no other way to get it since there is no decent way to make money like you used to before hot unless you farm stuff to put on the TP. Thus the endless cycle of farming.
I believe this is one of the main reasons people are actually leaving the game and yeah they might come back for LS3 or w/e but that’s not how you treat customers. It’s about keeping them happy 24/7 and not once a month.

I’m a veteran player, playing since launch and I’m really into raiding. That’s why I’m looking for a raid group or guild to raid during the evening. I’m available during the evening around 19:00 20:00 GMT+1.
I have experience on the 3 bosses.
I have 4 characters ready to raid. A chronomancer(fully ascended), Condi Ranger(fully ascended), Guardian(fully ascended) and a Tempest(ascended weapons and trinkets)

I’m looking for a team or a guild to raid in HoT. I’ve been raiding since it got out and killed Vale Guardian by now. My main character is a condi Ranger, but I also have an ele and a Guardian. Still working on my other characters.

I’m available in the evenings 8pm – 12pm on Monday, Wednesday, (Friday) and Sunday.
I used te be a hardcore raider in WoW till Warlords and I’ve been playing GW2 from start so I know my way around the classes.

You dont get dishonorable after your first time afk … It means you whent afk multiple times within a few days.

I know how it works and I find it a great system but it doesn’t solve the 4vs5 problem it’s still there. to answer your post yes it was my first time I akitten during a pvp match

This buff is realy a pain in the kitten . So this is what happend. I queue up, join the match and watch how only 2 others join. one of those 2 had it with the 4vs5 mentality leaves so at that moment we’re with 2 against 5. instead of wasting time I tab out to go check something in my mailbox for like 40seconds, when I tab back I’m at character screen. I log in only to see I got the dishonorable debuff. So long story short I get punished for 3 players leaving/ not showing up.

instead of dealing out that unfair debuff start fixing the 3vs5
Also anet could make the debuff so it only gives a 30 minute time out. So the leechers have to do something else. but now you’re puniching everything and everyone thanks again Acrap

The map has a hidious concept. Skyhammer itself is like a giant sniper rifle from CoD waiting for a camper. Ban the map for the love of the game

Necro: Fear stacking I can agree with it but the rune has plenty to do with that
Ele: a big fat NO
Engi: maybe but edging more to no
Warrior: healing signet I agree that it could be healing a little bit less

but overal I don’t think they need alot of nerfing just a little tweak here and there.
The only profession that does need one is Anet’s love child ‘The Mesmer’

Imho after nearly 2 years they are still not even close to a kind of balance in pvp. fix that first instead of what they gave us now

gandara has the saddest people in The whole game imho. If you can still find the time to camp in obsidian sanctum with 20 people or more just waiting for 1 to try the Jumping puzzle wth are you doing. We should have known that those who use the free transfer for better loot would be capable of doing so

Sounds like we’ll get some closure to the story on the 18th. WvW Season 2 is starting up, I expect we’ll hear more about LS2 after that gets underway. For now, Anet will be quiet to give everybody a chance to experience the new content.

That’s the problem, what new content are you talking about?

… What now? Since this was the last part of LS 1, and anet was going to take a break after it, what will we be able to do now. When will Part 2 start and what can we expect. Will there be something to do during the time we have to wait for the new LS since actually there is nothing new in the game.

probably going to get loads of critic on this but here I go.
I understand why people are mad it’s frustrating and against everything they did before. On the other hand, I remember in WW1 and WW2 people had to spend money on things that were free or spend more money on other stuff. Imagine that not gaining money was their goal but actually giving us the feeling that tyria is at war and that we shouldn’t take anything for granted cause it can be taken away any second.
It’s up to you to decide if you want the easy way out and buy a ticket or use another city and run some more miles.

I’m sorry I didn’t know there were rules and steps on how to play the game. If so isn’t kindness and helping the biggest rule therefor it shouldn’t be a problem if a newbie enters soloQ

I agree that people don’t always listen but when nothing is said there is nothing to listen to.

It’s really starting to bother me. The attitude of people who enter soloq, not everyone ofcourse but many, is so annoying. It’s starts when the game is count down is starting no tactics we’re given not even a friendly ‘hello’ or ‘how are you’, nothing. If you are so superior compared to other players, it should be easy to guide the team.
The problem is that nothing is said until your team is 50 points behind, at that point you press enter start hitting they keys on your keyboard and start calling people names. “you all suck”, “bunch of losers”, “it’s allready lost so why even try”, “omg why are you even in soloQ”.
Again because you are so superior to the rest of the population you might want to use it in the good way and start handing out directions or a plan for the rest of your team to follow.
Cause at that point you’re the biggest noob in the game for letting the rest of the team plat 4vs5.
Why is the other reason I think your so called “superiority” is bullcrap? If you don’t like soloq don’t join.
Last point is that, whenever you get confronted with your behavior you all tend to block the person after saying one last time “you know nothing”.

So to sum it up, if you don’t like soloque, don’t join and if you want to exchange words so badly, don’t block the person who wants to show you your place in this game. The moment you block someone at that point you’re showing your true nature which isn’t superior, not even a good player

There is something disturbing to me about a person accepting a completely made-up set of achievements in a commercial game as an actual real-life achievement.

What if a some business entity asked you to walk backwards in the rain for 1,250 days when the temperature was less than 50 degrees Fahrenheit holding their product in your hands, and if you could prove it, they would put your name on a website saying you did it.

Would you do it and feel that you had accomplished something significant?

What else could you be doing with some of that time? Could you be improving the world in some small way? Helping fix some sort of real-world problem that causes pain or discomfort for innocent people somewhere?

Well in that case it’s good that you are not that person. People can do whatever they want whenever they want it. Trying to give this speach on the forum of a game is like giving away salades in burger king. People choose to go to burger king for the burgers those who don’t like it, don’t go. Same with the game, people choose to play the game because they want to play. If he wants to do something else he’s free to go, his choise. Even people that are not playing videogames aren’t helping to improve the world or fixing real-world problems so this little “motivational” speech is so inappropriate.

I’ve been playing a lot more of pvp lately and I’m kinda done with the slacking soloqueue pugs that either cost me a win or just don’t show up for a battle. Therefor I’m looking for a pvpteam not to serious since I can’t be online all the time but a casual team for in the evenings. contact me ingame for more details

some of my frustrations in pvp are that there are still plenty of people who leave when it’s not going the way they want it to go. when they are losing for like 1 minute.
some builds didn’t get balanced. The great got better and the bad got worse.
Matchup? there is no matchup at any point of pvp they just select people and you should just try to play them. 1 year over and still a lot of work needs to be done to get a “ok” pvp in this game

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying they should delete the content. What I’m saying is that in the preview they we’re talking about a reformed fractal of those 2 dungeons. what they did was put those 2 in fractals and tadaa we’re done for today. But yeah I’m glad to see those 2 dungeons again

I think this is what people mean with Anet loves heavies. I myself am an elementalist and well kitten is we just have to look pretty and get slapped in the face by the freaking train called dredge. I used to die on the platform for a reason now I just die 3 warriors and 2 guards other professions do excist

…The name of the patch discribes what it is. A bunch of recycled stuff, some new things and the old fractals.The recycled stuff is bugged at so many levels and it seems like they didn’t even look at the old fractals.
They did some good things with this patch.
-The thaumanova reactor fractal is amazing. You guys keep getting better at making dungeons/new fractals.
-The mistlock ideas are great.
But to be honest it stops here either they didn’t plan it or maybe some lack of time is causing this problems but here are some things that I find frustrating.
– Mai Trin it’s the same fight as it was during that patch. it’s like you’re out of ideas and just recycle the old stuff.
– Dredge fractal. hard content is fun cause you have to work for your reward.
– first of all hard isn’t 100000 mobs in one place and all of them hitting like a train. Don’t try to kill them cause they’ll just spawn back
– Second, the reward got upgraded and that’s a good thing but for some fractals like Mai trin and dredge I’m not on the same level with you guys.
– The waypoint bug. It kitten ed many people of I assume
– T3 human light for everyone. I can agree with the rage of people who bought it for 120 g but on the other hand T3>fiery T3 cause it looks really really bad as do the other recycled fiery gear.
– some promises were made about "many numbers doesn’t make it hard, so we’re going to rework it, rework the damage of some monsters and blablabla. this is what bothers me most the fact that you didn’t keep your promise. Mai trin is as annoying as she was, the dredge even became harder cause you took the glitches out.
– agreeing with the fact that glitches or exploites should be taken out but you should look at the “why?”, why are we using glitches, why are we using exploits. Many of these “why?” are overlooked.

My final diagnos…

… make sure the fracture gets looked after, use as much time as possible to heal it or this fracture could come at a great cost. like any real fracture it has it up- and downsides but being stuck at home is fun for like a week, people tend to get bored after that.

I joined a group so i could finally get the tequatlMeta, I have to do only 1 more achievement. Waiting for like 20 minutes for him to show up and when he does I get disconnected and not able to join the server when I log back in.
This overflow is really the most annoying thing I’ve ever seen in mmorpg
