Seen the same behaviour on the Ring of Fire borderland last week. Bots for sure... kinda sad I didn’t report them all :/

Yeah, my list of blocked people for botting and goldselling is longer then my contact list. And they are still active o.O

Some people just don’t understand the mechanics I guess. I don’t know if it’s one or other servers as well but I’ve seen several times that people just barge in with no planning what so ever.
Tactics? what’s that? I’ve got a greatsword I’ll just attack what ever pops up on my screen marked in red. And then they’ll start moaning at you when you suggest to stay behind and defend/upgrade something…
It’s just pointless if you just keep going from point to point not holding anything :/

On topic: WvW doesn’t fail… it’s the people who fail to utilize basic strategy and structure really.

It think it’s the GPU not geared for gw2 specifically… it needs to be optimized. My guess keeping an eye out in topics concerning the same issue is the best idea atm.

hi, i recently bought a new computer, for the purposes of playing gw2 on high quality but for some reason when i max out quality settings my FPS drop below 10. Does this have anything to do with me using a n300 usb dongle on my computer. Here are the specs of my computer please let me know whether its the usb dongle or my tower.

Doubt it that it’s going to be your i-net connection mate.
Have you tried pinging some websites? (open cmd > type: “ping www.google.com”)

i think it’s going to b your rig, I’ve heard others with pretty beefy systems having the same issue as you. And it surprises me not having heard from A-net about it o.O

It seems, for now, that the lag issue has been resolved for me. I downloaded a fresh client for gw2, changed my wireless internet channel (so many wireless connections floating around here) and I moved my pc around for a few inches…
I played an hour to two hours with no lag. I’ll see if it holds or not.

Getting same lag symtoms as stated above. In PvE, PvP and WvW. Trying to download a fresh client install as we speak… hopefully that’ll help things along. But I’m not getting my hopes up tbh :/

well, it all depends on how you want to play.
Warriors have access to more weapons and are overall more tuned for a more aggressive playstyle.

Guardians has more focus in defense and support of allies.

So it’ll come down to on how you want to play. If you can’t decide, why not try both and see what class feels better for you.
