I’m compiling this for fun and to state very simply the changes I would like to see on warriors. I’ll post more changes when I think of more things that I’d like to be changed.

Healing, Utility and Elite skill changes:
Signet of Rage: Passive changed to ‘Every direct hit grants 1 extra strike of adrenaline’.
Bull’s Charge: 5 seconds less cooldown.
Healing Signet: No cast time.

Trait changes:
Last Stand: 25% stance duration changed to 20% less cooldown on stances, other effects are the same.
Cleansing Ire: Grant condition cleanse on bursts that consume adrenaline, even if it doesn’t hit anything.
Thick Skin: Toughness bonus grows instead of being lost the lower your health is.
Forceful Greatsword: Might on crit duration changed from 5 seconds to 10 seconds.
Brawler’s Recovery: Cleanse 2 conditions instead of 1.

Weapon skills and burst skills
A flat out speed increase to the warriors slowest abilities, changed abilities would be:
Backbreaker, Hundred Blades, Arcing Slice, Eviscerate, Earthshaker, Skullcrack and Rush

" We had more than 40 minutes on the timer to kill Mouth of Mordremoth and when all of us were spread across the island and the boss was supposed to spawn.
It closed the map and put us into the loading screen, after which we were still in the Dragon’s Domain, only in a map that didn’t have any events finished.
This is a game breaking bug and needs to fixed with haste. "

We need to figure out if this is a drop from the mushrooms themselves or from the daily event clear from the mushroom. I’ve farmed them for quite a bit outside of my daily and they seem to have no loot except Nuhoch Hunting Mastery and Leaf Fossil on their own.

They seem to pickup loot from dead enemies on the ground.

Because if they indeed are only from the daily, ArenaNet definately needs to ramp up the drop rate by a lot.

I dont think they necessarily need to be made account bound, just making getting them realistic would be enough.

So I play quite a bit of PvP and people whisper me insults for various reasons that I am completely oblivious off, I have done nothing wrong I assure you. However these people block me before whispering me. So if someone sees fit to block me and then whisper flame me, the block they have on me should dissipate for the next 24 hours.

Also people who have whispered you should be unable to block you for another 24 hours.

Alternatively you could make it so that people who have blocked you cannot whisper you for 24 hours after they disable the block. That way we could get rid of these haughty imbeciles who want to flame other folk behind an iron curtain safe from backfire.

Now that the Shoes are sold i will tell you where i found them.

Dragonstand Treasure Mushroom.

It was my first one xD. Thy for the 1350 Gold btw.

Hahah, really? Then any treasure mushroom may drop it I wager.
Thank you for the advice friend.

Now I wonder if it is a drop or an event reward for the mushrooms. It could be a simple drop making it farmable outside of the dailies as the event reward only seems to give you rare equipment and a trash item for selling.

The problem here is that they might not be rare at all and are from a piece of content that nobody does. No matter how small % droprate they have, they would have showed up more often on the tradingpost if they were a general drop.

Which leads me to believe that they could be a drop from a very specific boss or event that nobody does, just like some exotic items only drop from certain champions. However we do not know from which champion in HoT they drop from yet.

No one (of course there’s probably an exception) kills the champions that spawn in the opened areas of DS after the meta event ends, so that would make a lot of sense if it was a drop from one of the champions — especially the Mushroom Emperor since it seems a lot of the mushrooms are invisible. I may try begging for a group to take him down next time I’m in DS.

Do you play in America or Europe? I’m from Europe myself so I might have a hard time to find a group for it. If you manage to confirm that the Mushroom Emperor is where it drops then I’d know what to drag my friends into doing.

Hmm. Him obtaining them in Dragon’s Stand doesn’t rule out the Treasure Mushroom theory because there’s one in there as well. If It was just a general drop from the event bags it’d be way more common.

I also saw a Mushroom Emperor event in there that was hilariously hard and I didnt manage to finish it.

Well I’ll be. If that isn’t shopped it’s relieving news that they indeed are in the game.

Could you disclose the location in which you found them kind sir?

They’re not photo-shopped, but you may wish they were. He chose the stompers and put them on the trading post for 1500 gold.

And you can’t really blame him. Heart of Thorns has been out for three weeks and he is, seemingly, one of the few that have obtained these — and it seems they’re an extremely rare drop. And while I don’t know where to get these definitively, it looks like they may end up being rarer than a precursor or even the rarest drop in the game.

I’m going to be extremely upset if either of those are the case. I’ve been killing at least three invisible treasure mushrooms a day for the last two weeks; recently I’ve also been killing the one in Dragon’s Stand and have still had no luck — if that is what they drop from.

Isn’t there an tool that tracks and updates drop location as soon as someone obtains an item?

The invisible mushroom king Tyranus sometimes disappears when you hit him, when he doesnt disappear he wont die after reaching 0 health.

Is this a bug on the monster that it is unable to die? I tried using raw and condition damage and attacking it while the Defiance bar was broken to no avail.

What I am going to rule out of the equation is silly things like doing content barefoot.
I mean I trust Arenanet enough to believe that they wont force us to kitten ourselves or miss out on unlocks because we used all of our gearslots.

I am also ruling out the mystic forge possibility because this would be the first specifically crafted piece of armor through the mystic forge. Which would be odd for it to be an invisible skin.

Yeah it would really raise morale, even if barged in with them like “Hey guys, I got them without spawning them in my inventory! They’re in the game!”. That would mean it is not as we suspect at the very least.

However I do get the lingering feeling that obtaining them might be an inside joke and Matthew might know a lot of tiny little details we dont know of.

Alright, that makes sense, then. However what I really need to know is if it’s made in the mystic forge. Which I doubt in all honesty. However it could be the case and be an account bound item as there is no auction house slot for it in the AH.

I am currently trying to find a way to find the item on this api to see what flags it has. Does anyone know how to use this properly?

What’s the “Final Rest” situation?

Also I tried to see if Orichalcum, Oiled Orichalcum or Deldrimor boot crafting items highlighted in the mystic force, none of them did. I am fairly certain we can throw that idea out of the window that they’re combined from the shoe crafting materials.

I also went to Jennah’s palace with the Nuloch invisibility seeing thing and couldnt find anything. I haven’t spotted anything even remotely hinting at them with the truesight it gives. I haven’t even come close to finishing map exploration yet though.

None of the mapwide events even seem to hint at it.

The problem is that I really want to figure out how to get them so I can see the gold gating behind an invisible skin. I am expecting them to be a material heavy recipe like nightfury, because why not.

The problem is I haven’t heard of anyone data mining any info on them, we haven’t been given ANY clues onto where to get them. Dulfy’s mystic forge api doesn’t have any info on them either, which leads to them not being a recipe in the mystic forge or not being in the game at all. However the developers have stated that they are in and if we are to believe that, where to begin even then?

Also people have mentioned there being a new inviz bag in HoTs but I’ve never seen it or heard its name so I cant look it up and go get it for mystic forge testing. There’s literally no info at all on it.

It could also be hidden in plainsight. I just unlocked the mastery to see invisible things so I hope that can be used to find the clues I’ve been craving for.

I like treasure hunts, but not giving any clues is a big middle finger.
I think I’d have a better luck learning to datamine and finding it that way.

PS: And yes, not including a toggle is strange but I’ll take this possibility of getting them by finding them. Because now I’m actually really interested what the outcome to get them is, I’m expecting something really dull and obvious that everyone missed or something so mind boggling AVGN could make an video out of it.

Revenant Unrelenting Assault disjoint bug

in Bugs: Game, Forum, Website

Posted by: Maridot.9084

Maridot.9084

I figured part of when the bug occurs more precisely. When you would go up a ledge or go to a posture you would fall down from. The Revenant stops the assault and stands still onto a stable footing nearby, thus losing the ability.

It could be fixed by making the revenant finish the attack regardless of personal position even if it makes them airborne or go inside ground and teleport them next to the nearest stable footing next to their target as the attack finishes.

When I’ve used Unrelenting Assault on an enemy near the edge of a cliff, elevated ground or tilted groun the attack disjoints and does none of its damage making you completely stop for 2 seconds and do nothing.

Could we have a fix for this? It’s really strange and I cant even actually use Unrelenting Assault half of the time in Magus Falls maps due to the odd footing they have.

I hope you’ll be able to share the spoils of victory with us Matthew! Congratulations on finally succeeding in your dream as well!

critical damage resistance/immunity in PVE?

in Suggestions

Maridot.9084

I will not support any threads that blatantly tries to fix what is not broken. Who cares if someone else does more damage than you in PvP anyways?

Pure damage isn’t even the way to go for most of the content like High Fractals, CoE and Arah.
CoF path 1 is farmable with anything for it’s lack of threatening mechanics, stationary bosses and the fact how it promotes pure damage in the last boss by giving it a ridiculous health regen that you need to burst through.

The problems why you are asking for a stupid nerf wont be solved by making a stupid nerf.

Let’s see what most encounters are about.

Bosses that can be kept stationary, have high HP regen, Have high health pool, dont have threatening damage.

If bosses were mobile, did very high damage, disabled players, had buffs that need to be stolen/destroyed, had an AI that moves out of stationary AoE, Complex attack and action patterns and had abit lower health pool than the boring DPS race facetank poo fests.

You would have a boss that lowers the potential damage of builds that are based on stationary damage, unless well played and gives a place for tankier builds that depend on condition damage to come into play.

TL:DR Content is over trivialized thus the fastest option is to bring as much raw damage to the table instead of builds that focus in dealing their damage over time while sustaining themselves near endlessly.

Hello I would like to suggest that we get an option to hide shoes. It would add to the immersion and customization as many NPCs, especially Norns tote around barefooted. When I saw the human elementalist trainer and some of the Norn NPCs I actually though this was a customization option, but alas it wasn’t.

The ability to hide shoes wouldn’t impact the ability to distinguish the armor type and class of the character you are fighting against. As chest and leg armor explain most if not all of the class identity of a character.

I’ve heard that many players think that shoes on Asuras and Charr look unnatural or ugly. So it would cater quite well for people who feel right with those races, but dont feel right with how the boot armor looks.

There are also clipping issues with some shoes and leg armors that can be quite easily searched for in the PvP locker. So a hide option would help here too.

Personally as a warrior player when I face someone with a blind I’ll just spam my autoattack as it does decent damage. After I see 3 or so blinds I go for a kill combo. While I think warriors need some free condition removal like the other classes have I think that Blind Immunity would be too powerful.

Engineers need to set up their damage alot and they dont do that much upfront damage. But imagine a warrior who does asstons of direct damage in a short peroid of time being immune to blinds.

What warriors are missing are Crowd Control and more worthwhile Conditions on their weapon skills and a less buggy Bola hitframe. I throw it at someone at 600 range and it says out of range or obstructed on a flat surface. Beautiful.

Also having to charge Adrealine seems silly… Since Warriors Burst Skills are worth less or the same amount as another classes F1 and are grossly overshadowed by most classes F1-4

I actually thought this would be an option when I saw those developer videos showing off the elementalist’s weapons and spells and I had decided right then that my elementalist was going to resemble the one in the videos. So you can imagine my surprise in the open beta when not even helmet visibility was toggleable!

I’m not overly convinced that the stat hit from my elementalist not wearing shoes is actually that great, unless there’s an additional bonus for wearing a full set of specific (conjurer or other) armour. I know that rares have additional stats that only become active if you wear multiple items of the same type, but you only need four pieces of armour for that to take effect and my ele already has that covered (chest, legs, gloves, headgear).

Still want to see this option though.

Ah but in the end game there is a quite harsh penalty. For not using an article of gear you will lose a Superior Rune Bonus. These are slotted into gear and when you have 6 Superior runes of one type you unlock that runesets “Best” bonus.

The stats on Exotics shoes are substantial aswell so it will hurt to not use them.

Superior runes require 6 pieces of items with the same rune to trigger all bonuses.

Moreso, it would give more customization options to people. When I made my elementalist I wanted to have the Conjurer pants and no shoes like the elementalist trainer in Queensdale, but alas there were no shoes that would allow me to do that.

And various Norn NPCs walk around without shoes too.

While I know you can remove them yourself, ’tis still annoying to have to remove them and re-equip them when doing something. Ie missing stats from items just to do it shouldnt be how it is.

Edit: Confirmed further: Knight Boots and Knight Leggings have a clipping issue even on human female Body Shape 2. The Fishnet sticks out of the front side of the left boot.
