No on a player with 2600 armor which you should be running in wvw, you will not hit for 12k. please try again.

The people that talk about 1v1, or 1v2-3 only gets fights once every 45 minutes or so. (and thats being very lenient)
even when that is the case, theres a 99% chance that the person that you are fighting against is a very mobile class that will reset/flee the fight at any chance of loss.
There is no strat to this game for wvw or pvp. If you play a non mobile class for the solo game play and pretend being a scout means something then you are screwed. And just by the way, you add nothing to the wvw.
So if you have no interest in zerging, you have come to the wrong game.

Scouts honestly serve no purpose what-so-ever. This is a fact. I’m not sure what you are trying to sell here. But you do not need to lie to the guy. He came here for the truth of what actually happens.
The majority of the people on my server simply aren’t pvping this week especially because its only a zerg. vs. zerg.
Why would you tell a new person anything different than the truth. What purpose does that serve? As soon as they get to WvW they will see what actually happens. Clumps of terrible players taking battle objectives, “battle objective humping” as other games have previously coined the term.
There is no skill involved what-so-ever. Period. To say otherwise is nothing but a blatant lie in an attempt to preserve what ever type of false mentality you are trying to pose on the community.
If you are looking to solo, or small man, 90% of your time will be spent looking for an even fight that simply won’t happen more than once an hour. As i stated previously, One even small man vs. small man fight, or 1v2, or so on, is few, far and between.

This game not only promotes zerging, it disables and hinders anyone not zerging.

And if you want to call it ‘bull sh—" show me the server, any server. With a 30 minutes fraps/video of you or anyone doing small man, with out ’clipped’ streams i mean from walking out of base to the fights. Of more than 3 fights of even to near even odds, yes even if its a 5v10 sure, why not.

I am currently playing a support guardian, 1800 healing, 18k health, 31 crit, 1750 toughness,
just looking for others on my server who only want to small man, and avoid zerging like the plague.

Its just so bland. You literally do kill quest after kill quest after kill quest. . . .
and the talent trees dont seem to impact you while leveling so its like you cant even see a class potential what-so-ever =/

you know what would help new players? being able to play every class. and not be limited.
So i have tried several times to make myself play this game. But i’m just generally not finding it very fun.
And i think i must be missing something because it seems like a lot of people do enjoy it.
The leveling isn’t very fun, you just do kill tasks over and over essentially, and i am not much for reading lore, because it’s just boring. So… as much as some of you seem to enjoy storyline, i can never ever dream of wanting to role play. :/ Sorry.
I was trying to even find a class that i like, and i just don’t like any. Flat out. You have your weapon abilities that do not change, and they are nothing like the guild wars 1 characters at all.
You seem so limited on skill selection, its very dull. in gw1 you literally had 100 skills per class….. on here you have hardly anything, my keyboard feels naked, im used to key binding at least 17 abilities.
I like playing healers, and support, but there isn’t really anything like that in this game. Not real support, yes you have ‘soft cc’ and ‘hard cc’ but they generally last 2-3 seconds tops, and are on very long cool downs, not that im interested in spamming a cc, its just…i have to be missing something. Its just not fun.
I am rambling, but ive attempted so many times to be interested in the game, but i just can’t find it interesting, the talent trees seem so limited.
I generally only prefer small man, 2-3 (tops). Or solo. That being said, a thief isn’t interesting to me at all as it is completely cheese mode.
So i guess my real question is, why do you play, what keeps you playing, and what character other than a thief is something worth playing solo, roaming, and never ever ever zerging.
Any suggestions on how to make the game more enjoyable,
