Guild Wars 2

About not enough people around to do it, that’s one of my major problems with GW2 these days. There’s achievements where you need to have a fairly large group to complete. It’s fine when the map first goes up and everyone is on it, but once people do them there’s no one around to help.

Anyway, I give up.

Congrats! I’m glad you were somehow able to get it.

At this point I’m ready to just give up. I’m wasting so much of my time trying to get this achievement/mastery point. Still nothing on my end, I even waited around at night. Also means I can’t get the reward for Cin’s Collection. :/

So what’s the deal here? Because I’m getting pretty bored of waiting around for hours every day to try and get the Holding Back The Tide achievement. Nothing ever happens, is it bugged or something? I also need a boss to spawn to get something for the Cin’s Collection achievement, but I’ve yet to see them either.

I’ve been wanting to make some Guild Wars 2 themed artwork for a while now and since Halloween was coming up, I thought it’d be a great time! Here is a quaggan dressed up as a witch and ready to trick-or-treat! Unfortunately she’s been spooked by a rather cute looking ghost! Is it a quaggan ghost? It could be! Let’s hope it doesn’t steal the quaggan’s treats!

I had a lot of fun working on this!

Okay, so…. I got to Mordremoth’s Shadow and get to phase 2 and it’s just impossible. I can’t get the fire up in time before the shadow imps put them out. I have no idea how this is possible solo, is there any tips anyone could give me?

That’s actually a very similar build to what I just build last Saturday! Same graphics card and processor, and I just got 16gb memory instead.

It should be fine I think. Mine runs GW2 on highest settings and nice and smoothly! It’ll still drop fps a lot during big boss events, but I’d imagine it still does the same even on the top end cards!

I’m pretty mixed about it. I’m not really into the story aspect and the new areas aren’t that nice either, they’re a pain to traverse across (particularly Dry Top). Plus is it just me, or has GW2 just become too focused on achievements? They aren’t fun half the time either, just time consuming and frustrating. It really has turned me off the whole of Living Story 2 and I just can’t get any motivation to play through it.

Hey there!

I recently built a new PC and since I’ve been using it, I’m able to run GW2 on highest settings (which I’m super pleased about!). However, the last two times I’ve done Tequatl, a strange bug has occurred.

Basically, I notice it because the sound gets stuck, with this weird buzzing/electrical sound (I think it’s the sound from a skill or something) continually playing, along with the music The game continues to run though and I get no error messages, so I can still play it and finish Teq off to get the loot. When I try to log out though or close the game, it doesn’t let me and when I go into task manager it says “Not Responding” with the sound still playing in the back ground.

I have to use my keyboard to navigate the task manager, because it has the GW2 arrow cursor on my desktop and it won’t let me click on anything. Then I can exit it out of it that way.

I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if there’s any solutions to fix it? or anything on what could be causing this bug?

Due to my connection not being able to handle it, this event I’ll never be able to do on GW 2. Would be nice if they did Teq Jr, for people with slower connections, so they could get the achievements too. It could need half the people to complete it or something.

Just some sort of solution would be nice.

I just tried gifting the new quaggan mini set to my friend and got to the confirm stage. I clicked the button and it took my gems away, but it never confirmed it went through. Would she have got it?

The other problem is, she doesn’t have internet access at the moment, so she can’t check. I bought it for her to cheer her up and it’d be a surprise when she gets back on.

I just wasted 16 gold otherwise.

I sent them an email earlier and they are aware of it, they’re working on fixing it now.

I’m getting this also, I really hope it gets fixed soon. It never used to do this with me.

I just completed the dungeon and afterwards I went to see Rox, but it just came up to replay the mission I did before, in North Nolan Hatchery. Am I doing something wrong?

It’s quite hard to see sometimes (especially when you’re running), unless you fully zoom in. I love Quaggans so much, it’d be cool if it was slightly bigger so I can see it better whilst I play.

Thanks so much for helping out, Birdie and Stevens. So I can transmute it, if I get a better item. It’s just when I hover over it, it says “(One-time ability)”. So I wasn’t sure if you could only merge it with an item once or transmutation stones still work.;

Hello Guild Wars 2 forums, this is my first time posting here.

I adore Quaggans and when I saw there was a backpack on the store, I just had to get it. However, I’m confused and worried. I thought it was going to be a separate piece of armour, so I could keep it forever. But it says I need to merge it with another item and I can only ever do it once, so if I get a stronger item, I’ll basically lose it, unless I purchase it again (which would be a waste, I just spent money on gems to buy it).

I’m also confused as to what item to merge it with. I’m not quite sure how I get it to work at all.

I’m really sorry if I sound dumb, I’d appreciate some help. I’m not the best at understanding some things about the game.
