It’s Trash, even after almost three FULL years the guardian class is still the weakest of all the classes in the game.

If you like being the kind of player that “supports” your allies by giving them buffs then sure be a guardian but you will NEVER be anything more than a buff bot in this game.

You will never dominate in 1v1 situations and you will NEVER clear PVE as efficient as the other classes.

It’s too bad I came back to this game thinking they would have fixed guardian by now, I guess they don’t care about the class.

PS, class respec item plz. Don’t feel like remaking a character.

Like most of todays setup I run a system with 3 + 1 monitors. This allows me to play video games on my center monitor while in nvidia surround mode, read forums or news on the left, check some of the system stats on the right and change my music and watch a movie on my TV.

With guild wars 2, this is the only game I am having troubles setting it right.

My problem is, “Borderless fullscreen” is trash for me. Most of the games I play are smart in a way which automatically centers a 1920×1080 borderless window on my nvidia surround (6030×1080) desktop which works awesome. However, in guild wars 2 this “borderless fullscreen” takes all of my 3 monitors which I do NOT want. I want to be able to customize the borderless offset and resolution if possible like all other games do.

I have tried window borderless gaming and borderless gaming programs but both do not work for GW2.

Can you guys do something about this? thanks.

I haven’t touched this game in a very long time. Alot has changed and with the new expansion coming out I wanted to give GW2 another try.

After playing a long list of video games, I am kind of disappointed with the current store currency, the gems…

What I am trying to say is, I want to support this game. But you are making it very difficult with these prices and absolutely no discount at larger quantities. There is currently zero benefits into purchasing 800 gems or 8000 gems. Most games nowadays offer it’s customers a discount for the more time they buy for their subscription or for the currency of it’s cash shop.

Can I expect to see something similar done to the gem currency in GW2? or just something that will never happen?

Arenanet needs to learn from planet side 2 on how to handle matches against big groups.

1 Limit the server, kitten it that some people can’t play with friends, make them join a less populated one for a fee.

2 stop kittening giving users free transfers to other servers, this is what is killing the kittening WvWvW right now.

3. Make a script that checks which was the first server choice for everyone or mostly everyone that server hops and make sure you stick them in their first choice… screw them.

forgot to add to: give bonuses to servers that don’t have as many players as the other servers so they have a fighting chance.

I got full berserker armor / accessories and GS I have 41% crit chance and with sigil of perception maxed I got over 51% I do fairly good since I have 17k HP with maxed trait line in valor…

I will try your build and see how much different it is.

I have been playing my guardian since day -3, and I have NEVER lost agro in dungeons except 2 times which I lost agro to ANOTHER guardian in the group. And of course when I died but those don’t count.

Why is it that I am ALWAYS getting the agro of ALL the monsters in the dungeon? small mobs, normal, purple, bosses, ETC… they all agro me…

I only ask this because I really wondering WTF is going on

berserker armor, berserker accessories, greatsword…. scepter and shield.

I play on 5920 X 1080 on 3 monitors as well and I don’t have any problems…

Seriously, people under 80 that WvW are useless, they get killed faster, they are not as helpful as a fully equipped 80.

sometimes I get restricted for no reason, even tho I didn’t even type anything previously…

Does the anti bot also work on WvW? that’s be kitteny since I have done WvW for like 4 hours a day… WOW.

I just log in so people see my tier 3 armor and commander title, as I watch shows on my computer…

notin else to do at 80… I could just keep WvWing but farming those badges aint fun when your server not doing so good.

The weapons NOT glowing WHILE at night WHILE you teleport is a bug, period. They need to fix IT.

Go figure out your own builds and stop asking for the “best” build in the game, this game is all about making your OWN character unique, not trying to copy each other.

PS, all builds are good, you just need to learn to play them.

you keep saying you are in a big guild, big guilds can EASILY make 100g for a commander tag.

50 people 2g each = 100G 1-4hrs grind per guild member easily gets you the money you need for commander.

100+ members guild can EASILY make 100G with SILVERS. Run a couple of dungeons are you are done.

Seriously, just because you want a shinny zerg-tag across all your characters because you think 100G is too much in a “big” guild you should reconsider the way you play the game.

Maybe, maybe not. Point is that at level 80 gold should be coming quick through farming, crafting, or running dungeons. I ran 4 AC explorer modes and they all gave me like 50 silver each, path 2 which takes like 20-30 minutes to complete.

I am not hardcore player, I work from mon to fri just like everybody else. I get up at 5:30 in the morning and get back at around 4:30 / 5:00 after I am done taking a shower / eating / etc I have about 3-4 hours of Guild Wars 2 to play, in which as a level 80 I usually get 1-2G per hour. Me, a casual player has fully exotic gear…

Please don’t go around making excuses, thank you.

People are so lazy, trying to make a killer deal they end up screwing themselves. Why no just by the pieces one by one?

I do 1 dungeon as level 80 and get that achievement np..

what are you guys smoking? with all my exotic gear, fully runes / sigils I go to low level areas and I 1-2 shot everything. Everything dies to fast and I barely get scratched.

We farmed them for the looks, for the styles, FOR THE GLOW.

Currently the weapons do not glow inside dungeons (wtf?)

Currently the weapons ONLY glow when you are in the zone when the transition from day to night occurs.

Currently the weapons LOSE the glow when you move into another zone DURING the night.

PLEASE fix this, I farmed the dungeon so I could get an awesome weapon that looks awesome.

It is REALLY pathetic that this game made dungeons with ranged in mind. Melee players get kitten stomped so hard, its not even funny.

There is alot of room in the cities, it just depends on how they do it. For example, when they step in the door they will no longer be in the city, but in the house instance. You could have settings to have your house OPEN (everyone can come in) or PRIVATE (only friends can come in) perhaps there could be multiple people living in the same “houses” in the city but just in different “instances” of the house itself.

I have seen this pop all the time everywhere. Guardians can heal too much, too hard to kill, too op.

Let me just say that NOT ALL GUARDIANS are built for “healing”

YES, some will stack healing power, healing skills, and toughness and they WILL be crazy hard to kill, but for the love of god don’t say its OP. They sacrifice damage for survivability, not every guardian that you see will run this build.

I, for one run the power, vit, crit damage build and I cannot heal constantly I cannot survive in a battle as long as these traited guardians and that’s completely fine because I don’t like that playstyle.

so please, stop saying that guardians are “OP” because you cannot kill them instantly with your 10k crit or whatever.

We are a group of close internet friends that have played many games over the years, We are laid back and we try to do a little bit of everything (Dungeons, Spvp, WvW, Etc…)

I go with:

Power, Vit, Crit Damage armor and accessories, same with weapons.

My greatsword has a bloodlust rune but I am thinking of switching it for WvW to something else.

My Hammer has a rune of Ice so I have that chance of chilling them.

I am having alot of fun with this build in WvW, I activate my elite, teleport into a group, Chain a couple with my GS, drop the symbol down then pull them all inside while I spin on all of them and most of the time killing a lot of them. Then when it gets hairy I use my shout to break stuns or w/e switch to hammer pop my 5 and run away back to safety. Note that I also have alot of fun with the hammer, for example in the cliffs I switch to my hammer and smack them off to their doom, which is quite funny to watch.

If you see any improvements, or w/e let me know… thank you

Oh and my armor has rune of divinity.

Lvl 80 Maximilious, working on getting “The Emperor” or “Commander” Titles.

Abyss and White dyes.

So kitten tire of running a dungeon, getting to about the mid part of the dungeon then it gets bugged, as in it does not start the next part of the dungeon. You try everything possible to get it started but nothing happens and the only way to fix it is by RESETING the dungeon with a new party…

PLEASE fix this.

Have you tried going to one of the trading post NPCs and using the “pick up” feature from them?

Everyday since this happened to me I have checked the “pick all” button from an exchange NPC, for 2 weeks I have tried and nada.

What Happened:

I put up an offer on the Trading Post for an Item called “Ravaging Flame Greatsword of Battle” a rare item. I offered 3 gold for the item. After a while because nobody was selling I decided to stop the offer so I went to "my offers’ and closed the offer.

The Trading Post gave me 20 SILVER back and that’s it. I also checked “my bought items” history and it said I purchased the item “Ravaging Flame Greatsword of Battle” however there was nothing in the Trading Post NPC for me to pick up except the 20 silver I got back from canceling my offer.

Please help me out here, I don’t want to spend more gems to replace the gold the Trading Post took from me.

So pretty much I was one of the suckers that lost some gold USING the trading post, an ingame system which shouldn’t have made my coin go to la la land in the first place. Now, the reason I am angry is because this is gold I EXCHANGED with the purchase of GEMS. I put REAL money into this gold that the trading post, a bugged system took from me. I have been waiting for over 2 weeks calmly, but now I have no choice but to look into my paypal / creditcard statements and look at the closest transaction when I lost the gold and do a charge back of that GEM purchase since the game pretty much ATE it I will wait for now but I no longer have patience for this matter, I am a paying customer, I have sink both time and money on this game and I believe I deserve a little better than automated messages.

and I just checked in the trading post for the low level item which I took the looks from and they removed the looks of the item in there too… what the hell?

Today I logged in to find one of my many transmutated items (my scepter) changed back to its original look.

I know it has happened to other people with their riffles and other items since they were talking on map chat.

Any way to get my look back or my fine trasmutation since it was a level 80 item?

Hey, I have some really interesting info for you. We have not been able to find a single case of gold going missing from an account unless:

1. It was hacked
2. The account holder is not considering that gold is based on characters and not the account, is looking for gold in storage instead of on a specific character

If things look normal but you feel you are missing gold, check all your characters and I bet the vast majority of you will find you do have the gold, after all, just on a different character.

If you think you may have been hacked, please change your password immediately and contact Support for assistance.

I submitted my case long ago, clearly the trading post was extremely bugged back then since I lost 2.80 gold of the 3 gold I put in there for an offer of an exotic item.

It’s funny that you say you don’t have any cases of gold missing from trading post while I know for a fact there alot of people like me that have lost a fair amount of gold USING the trading post. Either selling or buying items.

And no, the “fix” of the trading post did not give my gold back, I have been checking the NPCs for “Take All” button to have my gold in there daily since I lost the gold and so far NOTHING.

Happened to me more than a week ago and still waiting for my 2.80 gold back

Before I begin I would like to say that I have been waiting for support over a week and no dice yet and all the people I know with same problems are on the same boat.

They say they have logs for everything related to the trading post, all transaction history and such so when I put 3 gold in the trading post cancel my order since no one selling and only get 20 silver back, and I have tried the take all button nothing gold back.

They should be able to check my account and see my gold is on la la land at the moment and help me out.

It’s not a pet it’s a 30 second summon that you get at level 60 only people that bought deluxe and made a character have the skill. All the people that upgraded to deluxe do not have it. Anet knows this and they working on it.

Instead of being e thugs and swearing in a game where is not really necessary to do so you could leave your racist jokes in mumble, ventrilo or teamspeak like most of us grown ups

I got my gold by buying gems and they still haven’t returned my gold. Please help me I have been waiting long enough.

I hit 80 yesterday and I got 4 exotic items my great sword shield and scepter lastly spear all 80 and my vigil set with transmutated lvl 74 gear because it looks kitten and me and my friends still need to do all the dungeons or wvwvw and farm gold for cultural armor and such. You still have many things to do at 80 it’s not the end of the world.
