In my opinion, Combat Controls are sloppy.

While I agree that holding down the right click button all the time can get tiring, I disagree that GW2 combat is “sloppy.” I think the difference is that you’re looking at Dragon’s Nest and thinking “this is smooth” when it’s really a hack-and-slash type of combat. Hack-and-slash combat is fun but lacks real depth… and that type of combat doesn’t really fit for GW2. How would it work for Wuvwuv?

It’s basically summoning an oakheart. It supposedly grants regen and removes conditions, although because I build condition removal I rarely notice the second part.

It’s a relatively good elite, but might not be worth 30 skill points. The best thing it does is cast mass immobilization (I think in the form of chains, like the guardian hammer 3rd). Thus, it’s useful when you’re getting zerged in PvE, but only for PvE, not for WvW as it takes a ridiculous amount of time to cast and has a horrible cooldown.

A buddy of mine bought the Ascalonian dungeon shield. As you may or may not know, Ascalonian dungeon weapons emit blue flames at night. The reason why I mention this is because he uses this shield as a “night-time detector” because the night effect isn’t especially dramatic in towns. Basically, there is very little difference whether it is night or day in Lion’s Arch.

It’s a real shame that night isn’t longer because the night sky is absolutely gorgeous. I’d love to see more of it!

The Culinary Institute of Tyria (CHEF) is a casual PvX guild located on Northern Shiverpeaks. Our members focus on the crafting profession of cooking: we gather materials, map farm locations and document ingredient areas. We also play in PvP, run dungeons and help each other get materials they need. Our guild functions on three principles: charity, responsibility and enthusiasm.

We offer two levels of membership: Junior Chef and Chef. As a junior chef, you are free to represent our guild and play the game however you want. Your only responsibility will be to represent our guild. You are NOT required to contribute materials.

As a chef, you must actively contribute materials and help the guild document locations. As a bonus, you will be allowed to withdraw items from the guild storage.

You can find out more information about the guild by visiting www.citchef.com, or sending a PM to Mechangmenow in-game. We look forward to hearing from you!
