So true, Akatan; Something new comes out and the game breaks.
Really wished I would have read the forums before I completed it on one of my characters today, I’m out the rewards now.
Spam bug reports in-game. Sounds like a good idea to me.
kitten, the world just ended.
This is a free to play game
You complain that it’s late where you live, you want to play a game that originates in North America; which updates on North American time, Move here.
Demanding free items and gems because they couldn’t launch at a decent time in your time zone sounds like a 1st world problem to me.
It’s not like they get paid to slack, maybe they found a bug.. something that could ruin the games economy and force them to ban 3,000 people for using a Karma Vendor. Who knows.
Welp, GG. Another week with Lions Arch.
I’m most upset about this as well. The fact that the Depoyable Motor Kit can only be used once every 30 minutes while the spawn time of it is still only 60 seconds; You’d think they’d increase this to .. 10-15 minutes to BALANCE this change.
I’ve guested over to a few servers and they’re all bugged too.
I had this problem when they first came out, I used them on a Human and noticed they didn’t appear in my Norn home instance but they did in my Human instance. Today I was playing my Sylvari and saw them in that home instance but I haven’t tested the norn. I suggest submitting a bug report, it’s a lot faster than waiting for a response on the forum.
Reserved. Reserved. Reserved.
The main idea behind this Living Story is to open up a new part of the world in Tyria. Thus giving aNet the ability to expand more of the world, new boss monsters, new events… and perhaps… a new bad guy. The boy found an artifact that would return the breathe life into the dwarven guardians who imprison Primordus. But by doing so would let him lose from the depth of Tyria.
A New World Part 1
1328 AE – As the war of the Elder Dragons continue throughout Tyria with what seem no end, and with the rampaging Scarlet with her goal to destroy what hope may be left. The Norn’s had found an ancient artifact hidden within the mountains that was kept from the Dredge by a little boy who had gone missing and escaped his capturer. He surfaced from his hiding spot deep within the Frostgorge after what may have seemed like decades to him. The unknown artifact was on route via Asuran Airship to scholars that may be able to identify it when it was forced out of the sky by Jormag, in the Far Shiverpeaks. The precious cargo could mean the difference in the war against the Dragons, or maybe even our defeat.
Heroes must rise to find the crashed airship and return the artifact so it may be examined.
A New World
Part 2The artifact was disovered to be a magical hammer that when smashed against the stone skin of the Dwarven Guardians that it would return them to life but when smashed against the living it would turn them to stone. The Vigil, Master of Whispers and the Priory all believe in different paths that it could be used or not be used at all.. the reappearance of Primordus and his destoryer army could mean defeat to what hold Tyria has left in the north.
The idea behind this is that players doing the living story event follow their characters path with what faction they picked in their storyline, ie; Whisperers want to destory the hammer, The Vigil wants to use it and kill Primordus but the Priory wants to keep it, and hide it from the Dragons incase they release him, and perhaps do experiements on it to find out if they can use it in some other way against the dragons themselves.
A New World
Part 3Part 3 cannot be decided until which path Tyria takes by Hero influence.
Whispers: They have successfully stolen the hammer and destroyed it within the depths of Mount Maelstrom.
Vigil: The Dwarves have returned to Tyria, Primordus has flooded the North with Destoryers and plague to wipe out Tyria once more. With no home now the dwarves spread across the known world and seek aid from each race to fight Primordus.
Priory: The Priory have discovered that with the magical hammer they are able to seal the dragon minions within stone for eternity, getting in close to a dragon would be the real test.
I believe it’s only a few servers.
Well Bubi, when a Temple has something to do with a Living Story Event.. I bet we’ll see them fixed
I mean, as soon as the “Fractured” living story came out.. they ‘fixed’ Mossman.

Yeah, if you destroy the gate when the announcement says; “Match is about to begin” it will stay broken.. If it takes damage prior to that message it will heal, but it is still attackable. Honestly, they should give it like 3 minutes of immortality right at the beginning and it would force players to focus on capture points before Lord… like normal people do.
I can confirm this as well, at least once a day this happens to me or any of my friends while doing daily fractals.
I’ve seen this a few times myself. If it happens to you, leave the party and re-join. It’s almost as annoying as when you’re rolling and you die upon returning to the laboratory and are unable to continue rolling.
This is not my favorite map. You should change this to; “Most played map because the random doesn’t work very well”.
It happens a lot, it’s because of the 3d models… I won’t go into detail, I’m sure aNet knows why. An easy fix is to reduce your particle sight with graphic setting. I think this is the third post today that I’ve said the exact same thing for.
A lot of the time aNet uses the same map/area for multiple things and because of how the engine works they can use different heights on the map for these areas. ie; ‘ground level’ is Swampland Fractal, but 500 feet up is Uncatagorized Fractal. It could be that because of the settings you’re using, like; LOD Distance, is trying to pick these up. Again, ticking that box will improve your fps.
You can still bug the mossman, if an aNet employee would like to know how or see it in action. I’m online

Says in there that you shouldn’t have written a post about it, rather submitted a support ticket.
Lmao, so what? it’s not like you can change your Traits while in combat; this could be fixed years from now as it posses no chance of abuse.
“Sweet idea, lets push it out.. 3 lines of code? Golden. Let’s make some cash.”
That’s the particle effect(s) from an Aura. Whatever model is being changed doesn’t have the proper alpha layer. Someone in the modeling department slacked
Lowering your settings won’t fix the issue. Be sure to have selected “Auto detect” in the Graphics Settings tab under Options. Then be sure to have ticked; “Effect LOD” and “Vertical Sync”.
I too notice that sometimes the ground in Lions Arch takes a few seconds to load, but that is because of the Snow texture they currently have for Wintersday. The only solution I found to this is to turn OFF reflections, worked for me.
Quick Fix: In your Graphics Settings tab, under Options, ensure “Effect LOD” is ticked as well as “Vertical Sync”. This will increase your FPS by decreasing the particle(s) that are loaded.
According to rumors, aNet plans on fixing these for the next patch. For now, I suggest you guest to other server’s who do not have broken temples. Ie; ioJ’s Mel temple is not broken. Good luck.
Yeah it has happened to a lot of people. I strongly suggest you start running windowed mode with your screen resolution size, this is the only current fix.
If you did it with a zerg. chances are you didn’t deal enough damage to Dwayna. It happens a lot, especially in such events like Foulbear. Luckily they ‘sort of’ scaled him properly now, so at least 20 people get the reward(s) instead of a handful.
You don’t get a reward for doing a level 50 fractal.
Yes, you friends can gather your nodes and skill point(s).
I am deeply upset that this node pack isn’t for all home instances. Please fix, aNet. I sure feel as if I wasted my gems on this now.
