Hey, i made some digging and didn’t find any satisfying info.
When HoT goes live im planning to make small guild with several friends.
There will be +- 5 ppl playing.
Im wondering if there will be any content like, guild missions and adventures which will allow us to progress our guild without any help from outside.
Plz share if you have any info.

I have actually been suggesting that simple little change for about 3 years.
As for what they could rename it to.
They could call it “Beam of Light” or “Ray of Light” or super mega beam cannon for all I care, as long as it works and cannot be avoided by dancing side to side.
Well, my idea was to change orb of light fly as fast as thiefs shortbow 1 skill arrow and change it to 900 yard range, but this idea went down very quick.
Beam sounds even better, lets keep it alive, maybe someone hear it this time

Yeah, that video is very good example for that. What im proposing for scepter now is not making scepter projectile better than for example bow from thief or ranger, because when you chasing someone and use scepter 1 skill, your effective range will stll be something about 600 yards, but with my proposal for example thief can t just stand on 600 yard range from you , shoot on you with bow 1 and click quick left/right strafes, and what you just can see is looking at your orbs of light fly around with 45 % angle and hit absolutly nothing.
Hey. This is my another try to make some attention to our “orb of light”.
My next idea for fixing that skill especially in pvp is just making those orbs to work like homing missiles, make it turns after moving target until it fades.

Bow skill 3 is pritty useless in my opinion, add to it a fire trial which burn foes and cure condition on allies or something.
Skill 2 should be allowed to cast while moving.
Allow to wear bow whidout taking dragonhunter trait line.
Traps have to long cds.
Those are my first impressions after my first try in pve.
Scepter will do fine in HoT against mobs but will be bleh against players unless the tracking is fixed.
This is the main issue i would like to bo fixed. dont want total rebuild, just fixing imo bad design from the beggining.

Hey. So we get bow in HOT. I saw bow skills and i think they are awesome.
So this make me think, how scepter skills looks in compare with bow.
bow have combo field, scepter does not.
bow skill nr1 is 1200 range fast arrow that can hit 2 targets.
scepter skill nr1 is 1200 range… very slow and almost usless on targets that moves even a little.
Imo, scepter skills 1 and 2 should be reworked a little to be more usefull.
I would make nr1 skill 900 range and fast as bow arrows or laser channeling.
nr2 skill some combo field but also 900 range
Those changes would make scepter more usefull and less annoying in my opinion

Hey. We know that all tasks in HOT will be replaced by repeatable Adventures. There wasn t any in Orr, and im wondering if there will be added any to the Orr maps.
Hey, I know that we will get some awesome stuff in HOT and its propably to much to ask, but ill do it anyway and see what will happen.
I would like to see Longbow Symbol of Energy (skill nr. 4) a firefield. I saw many ppl was asking for it before new spec info, we don t need another light field , we have plenty of those allready, and firefield would be kitten for us.
What do you think ppl?
But if you compare the projectile cast between LB, SB and Scepter it feels that guardian scepter has more steady consistent cast, while ranger’s LB arrow start a little bit slow but then gain superior velocity.
I was thinking about projectile’s flight speed, not cast speed.

Hey. Im thinking about that for some time now. Im doing some pvp now and scepter 1st slot skill is useless against oponents which are runing from you when you chasing them. Its useless even agaist oponents which just quickly change run direction from left to right.
So my proposition is to change range from 1200 to 900 and make it as fast as rangers and thiefs bow arrows.
What do you think about this?

Hey. I have one bothering thought, why is Adventure Box closed? I was playing the time when it opened, but didn t have enought time to play all content there. Maybe there is any lore reason why its closed but i didn t found anything. Why this can t be like rest of dungeons and be opened all the time. Its waste of wonderfull content imo.

Hey. im in the middle of doing achievements like Mote master, and its killing that i need to click through 10 min “the world summit” to begin fight, im failing, and 10 min reclicking again, im starting to lose hair because of that.
A button “skip to the point” would be nice for story that was made allready once.
Any thoughts would be nice.

Bow is the only spirit weapon we don’t have access to as a normal weapon.
Yeah, i had the same thoughts some time ago, thats why this would be most logical to give us bow, long bow.
Hi, i was just thinking, that would be nice for guard to be able to use bow (short or long , no matter) that would give us more possibilities in ranged combat and also give us normal range weapon, well warriors can use rifles/bows thiefs have pistol, dual pistol, short bow , i would like to see us using bow really.

Hey im just wondering if that wouldn’t be nice to se something like randomly generated locations with randomly generated mobs (skills), im mean something like in diablo.
I know that this would be hard to implement because we have allready permanent world maps. Im thinking about creating some quests/events which have place in atm non existing locations, like you find a map which says that in “place x” there is a hidden cave/dungeon/ruins or what ever, and it apears on your map so you can just go there like to existing waypoint. i would also see those places scaling from 1 to 5 players dificulty so you can go there with friends, dungeon party or alone.

Hey. Engineer is my “main alt” and last days im enjoing it , but there are several things that anoying me.One of those things are turrets cd’s for example you running around and killing things, you see bunch of mobs, start attacking, setting turrets, killing them, running forward , and you have other pack of mobs , now you can t use turrets again because they are all on cd s. And here is thing that is wondering me, turrets can be destroyd by mobs, you can detonate tham and… pick them up back, im just wondering if there would be posability to make turrets not geting on cds when you just pick them back, that feels right for me, and make turrets more practical for fast mobile playing. Ofc if that would be a balance breaking change, ill pass that idea, but making turrets not geting on cd on pick up (like changing kits) would be logical for me , and would make playing engi more fun. what you all say about that idea.

Hey im Just wondering to play some s pvp with my friend (ranger). I want to try engineer since my main (guardian) is weak in pvp last days. Im looking for some build with decent dps, and cc for running in 2 ppl squad or for 1v1 encounters:

Hey, i got both wings from event and i really don t like animations from those , its 1 constant looped animation which is very annoying after short time .
If its me, i would like to se at least 2 animations for it , for example , when you stand still they are not moving , they move like now only when you are running , and diferent animation for combat like more agresive idle in combat idle , diferent for casting spell and so on .
Im also 3D animator so i know that, those changes will make wings looks much better
