Guild Wars 2

I should clarify, I do have the items in the HoM in guild wars 2 and picked the items up, however im not seeing them in my wardrobe option for my characters, just in the inventory and doublclicking applies it to the current item in the slot.

Ah i have the basic items from just tieing the account the heritage boots and robe and such? I cant recall the exact names at this time.

I noticed that it wasnt in the wardrobe at least on my characters to select since the items i have require you to transmute items. Is this a glitch or do i need to go somewhere special to access the wardrobe of items?

Im wanting to change my account email for my game but im not able to within the my account settings, how do i go about doing this?

Ah so I will need to go to lions arch, Thanks, Im still re-learning the game as i havent really played since launch. The book still has alot of relavent info though which is a good thing.

I just noticed when i created a new character i got a hall of monuments item, however none of my other characters seem to have this item. Is there a way to get this for them as well?

Thanks that helps answer most of my questions, one last thing on HoM, is it only for 1 character or per character that can get the rewards?

So i remember in guild wars one each year on your character birthday you get a special pet via inbox. I know you get it for the first year on guild wars 2 but are there no more yearly pets? I have been playing since launch for my main characters but they havent gotten any other pets besides the first one.

SO i have not played the game in almost 2 years or so and im finally coming back, i just had some questions

I noticed that there is a brand new ui and all of the changes for skills and abilities seems to have changed, Is there a easy guide to get hold players back in and used to all of this again?

Im curious on the hall of monuments i am slowly going through and getting the rewards, however if i tie my account now with only the 3 rewards, and i earn the other rewards later, will it reflect on my account or only when i tied my account over?

Is the guilde book for the original guild wars 2 still relevant even if i dont have heart of thrones?

So i havent really played this game since Launch and from what ive heard and read, alot has changed since launch. Is there any tips people can give for getting back in? i dont have any other friends to play with so im not sure what to do.

So i was trying to link my GW1 account but i found that it was not letting me. Curious i tried to log into my GW account but i no longer can, and the website says my account was permanently blocked? Im curious as to why since i havent logged into GW or aion for years and was wanting to play them.

Ah cool alright. Now one last things, are these like transmutation items or are they skins? Im not quite sure what to make of them.

So this has been bothering me for a while now. I have a original Gw account and i do want to link it, however if i link it now ill only get a few of the rewards. If i were to go back to the old game after linking my account and get more things in the hall of monuments, would they show up on my rewards later on or is it only the rewards youll get at the time of linking?

alright guys this is just some general questions about the hall of monuments. even though i only have 3 according to the hall of monument calculator, i can still get some in game rewards. my question is this. if i link my two accounts now, will i still be able to earn monuments in the original gw games and still get rewards in guild wars 2? or will linking prevent unlocking more in game items even if i go back and get all 50?

now i do have some more questions on them. if i remember correctly, in guild wars 1 i know there were 2 weapons i think twilight and dusk, not sure of the name, but when combined, the weapons changes depending on the time of day. is that the same for some of them on here? also is it random what legendary weapon is created when you create one? like say i want to create a great sword and theres 10 different legendary greatswords in the game. will it be random the one i get or do i get to choose?

Yes. If I recall correctly, you need the skill points to buy materials.

In any case, don’t neglect your skills for a legendary. Over the time it takes you to gather the mats required for one, you’ll no doubt gain a good number of them. The prospect of a legendary (or even an actual legendary) won’t keep you alive or make you a better player.

Skills wont necessarily make one a better player either its knowing how and when to use them that’s important.

Indeed. But you must have access to them in the first place in order to learn them. I’d be a kitten stupid elementalist if I refused to get my cantrips just so I’d be a few skill points closer to a piece of gear that’s on the same level statwise as more accessible pieces. EDIT: Also, if you decide not to get a skill you know for certain you won’t ever use because you already have useful ones, that makes sense. Just don’t want people to neglect utility for cosmetics.

so does this mean that if i accidently choose a skill and later decide i dont need it anymore, will i still be stuck with that skill? or will i be able to remove it?

You will have an abundance of skillpoints from challenges and the fact you get one each time you refill your xp bar at lvl 80.

so it still costs skill points to make the legendary weapons is that correct?

ok this is just a quick question on legendary weapons. from what i heard during beta, in order to make legendary weapons you need to save 100 skill points in order to make them. is this still true or has it been changed since beta? cause if its true, what would be the best way to keep enough skill points for skills, while still saving up the 100 to get the legendary weapons?

Hi all. so im still new to guild wars 2 and ive decided to make myself a new character to help my friend get into the game. now im wondering, does the race affect your class in any way? or is it just for appearance? the reason im asking this is to lead up to the next question.

what is the best build for a Human/ elementalist and best build for a human/warrior?
i think its a good combo for me and my friend but what would be a good build for both? for me im the human and im wanting to do as much damage as possible with a 2 handed weapon, but have a good attack rate. any help will be excellent. thanks in advance~
