I received some favorable reaction for:
-A karka hatchling “hat.” You wouldn’t even need to make a new skin. Just permanently attach one to my face. (Headcrabs ftw)Seriously, I’d buy these items in a heartbeat. You’ve probably already thought of them, but the support is there.
Ditto. I too would buy the Karka hatchling “hat.” Unless I’m really low on health during combat or in dire straits, I don’t even bother ‘dodging’ to dislodge these cuties.
If you are one to buy keys, as they are on sale now, good time to pick some up. I only get them during sales and set myself a 10 key limit. Also, only open up a few chests at a time, to limit RNG.
Got mine today and am looking ahead to upcoming Dragon Festival.
Question to add. Can I come back NEXT month, and do the same jumps i did THIS month?
Yes you can, as long as Jumping Puzzle completion is one of the monthly choices, of course.
I’d seen the post too wauwi and was about to reply with pointing out the Guilds section on the forums, then I refreshed and saw yours and creeper’s posts. Dunno where his other one went that you quoted before, but I did see it. ::gets weirded out by the Inception theme, and refreshes again, editing post::
Ah there you are creeper. Heh.
Maybe they’ll surprise us in this upcoming patch with a LFGroup/Guild chat. Hey, one can hope?

Sweet! Looks awesome. I even really like the design/style of this Trident when not glowing. Simple, yet deadly.
Thank you again for posting. Definitely helped me decide on this one!
:)
I’m with you on this one. Still on the hunt for just the ‘right’ smaller sized gaming mouse for my feminine hand. For now, I’m using a Razer Orochi as it fits my hand comfortably and is ambidexterous, can be used either wired or wirelessly, and has some customizable buttons. Yes, I know and understand why you didn’t want to go with another Razer, but figured I’d go ahead and suggest this one anyway. Good luck and much success in finding a mouse that fits and works out for your needs.
Thank you Falunel and Dasorine. While I’m always interested in keeping up to date on the differing weapon (and armor) models available in-game, in this instance I was primarily wanting to know if the AC Ghastly Trident had a “glowing” effect underwater at night. It would be most helpful if you could post a screenshot of that Falunel. That would be very much appreciated.
More specifically, I’m interested in the Trident. I’ve done a Google search, read the GW2 wiki page on the Ascalonian dungeon Ghastly weapons, checked the forums here and haven’t found any definitive info on this particular weapon.
Thanks, in advance, for any and all feedback!

Wow … just … Wow! That was awesome! I smiled thru the entire performance. Been feeling a bit of those ‘holiday blues’ and this perked me right up.
Thank you, thank you Hecksa! Very nicely done. I can’t even begin to imagine the effort involved in putting that together. And the Asura doing their dance to the music, priceless!
Happy Wintersday and Merry Christmas to you! And to all!

O.o
Is the toon in that pic GW2 Hulk Hogan?! So that’s where he’s got to.
;)
… my 2011 iMac (with up-to-date software).
The sound kept getting increasingly louder and didn’t at first ‘sound’ like it was even coming from my computer, which was directly in front of me.
Weird.
Was fighting Jormag, which wigs out my computer normally so was prepared for that. It gets very warm, the usual, but today suddenly no sound, can’t move, black screen of death, that weird noise, and eventually all I can do is force quit.
So I’ve been playing since early access and levelled a Norn Ranger to 80. A week ago I decided to try something different and rolled a Human Guardian. During the cause of my personal story I came to Harathi Hinterlands for the first time.
I just want to say that the Dynamic Event chains against the Centaurs in this area are absolutely epic. They really make you feel like you’re making a valuable contribution to an ongoing war effort on a constantly changing battlefield. I haven’t had this much fun in GW2 before and I have actually been having a lot of fun since day one. Just as I thought the game couldn’t get any better it blows me away yet again.
Ditto! Played there extensively today and wholeheartedly agree with what you said about the event chains being epic and the battlefield changing and really feeling as though your character is having an impact. Super fun too, though a group of us tried several times and never could quite vanquish the champion spider, so … That poor captain is still trapped in a cocoon in the cave.
sigh

Today, on my home server of Ehmry Bay, my son and myself, along with a rag-tag band of hearty stalwart Tyrian adventurers, came together to defeat the fiercesome giant Kol Skullsmasher in the Harathi Hinterlands. Many of us were downed, but we rallied to raise our fallen brethren time and again. Eventually, we prevailed, victorious.
This same tale can be seen across all of Tyria every day. But for me, this day, it showed me once again, the awesomeness this game can be and how fun it is to group together with friends and those we just happen to come across, and simply … Play. We didn’t stop there, many of us continuing on to the next adventure.
If you were there today with Moretha and Hilde, thank you. It was epic good fun!

Enjoyed your guild promo. I wanna smell like Unpopular!
Err … uhm … I mean …
Yeah.
Anyway … just goes to show you don’t have to be huge to be good.
Uh … that didn’t come out right.
>.<
Best of luck, well wishes and all that there! :}
Hiya Bleu! I’m also on Ehmry Bay. Please feel free to add me to your friends list to quest, explore, chat, etc etc. I’ve a guild of 3, so far, you’re welcome to join if you’d like, if not that’s totally fine too!
p.s. The lack of reply from others in chat could be because they just didn’t see it. I’ve found responses can get lost in the chat box easily with everything popping up so quickly.

I had the same issue and read somewhere on the forums a solution. What seems to work is unchecking both boxes for Mac in the game options for the mouse settings.. Hope this works for you two too!
That’s it. The title. Don’t cave in. Yes this is directed to ANet, but you can’t say that in the title so hey.
Don’t cave in. Don’t give in. You guys made a game, and you guys made a game that you could be passionate about. That you had all these ideas for that took years to get working.
So make your game. Make it the way you want to make it. (Or… continue… to make it? Whatever works.) Because this is your game, your baby.
People that don’t ‘get’ the game? They don’t get it. And they probably won’t continue to play. People that want to massively change the game’s systems or how certain things work probably fall under this category.
But at the same time, don’t forget about us, the little people who bought your game. Because some of us do have pretty good ideas.
Even so, this is your game. You honestly don’t have to listen to any of us. And I hope that when you -do- listen to us, it’s because you want to, not because you feel forced to.
Don’t cave in. =3
Well said, Illushia. I’m not even going to read all the replies to your original post here in this thread. Don’t need or want to. My choice. Just as in the game. My choice how to play this amazingly awesome MMO RPG.
Is Guild Wars 2 ‘as is’ a perfect game? Of course not. Can and will there be more tweaking and improvements made upon it? Sure. As there should be. But it would be a major disappointment, to me, if the developers “dumb down” the game and stray from their vision of what they want Guild Wars 2 to be.
Basically, bottom line, am I having fun? Yes! Am I expectant and eager to learn more about the world of Tyria? Yes. Do I enjoy playing with a variety of people, spontaneously helping out one another as they happen along? Yes.
Do I care that there are issues with the game working as intended, designed, and as it should? Of course. Am I concerned that some have experienced very real, and beyond frustrating, problems such as being hacked or logging in? Definitively yes! But I’m also confident that things that aren’t working will be sorted out.
Thank you ArenaNet for a wonderfully envisioned and beautifully crafted environment in which to explore.
