Speaking about laughing hard. So the 10-15 Guys on your sceenshot are considered a blob now?I guess then every group bigger than your own is a blob then.

Oh and what about 3 Guildgroups of 25-30 People each handholding each other inside the same keep? Is that Millers way of playing small/midscale? Miller is blobbing as well, like every server does to an extend.

Sorry even your forum warriors are mediocre at best.

Seems to me every time I launched a surprise attack on an ADAC member they just kept running, and they didn’t seem all that into it at all. On the other hand my dagger was well into it! Your backs I mean…

Wouldnt make any sense to stop and fight you anyways. A p/d-Thief with 3 GFTO-Utilities….not meaning you personal, but most of them run anyways if they find an opponent instead or the expected prey.

AM…seriously the most boring night of WvW in a long time. They dont even want to fight when its 30 vs 20 in their favor…no, they run to their tower and build AC or come back with 60.
I know, everybody is entitled to their own playstyle, but i really dont see how this amount of blob and the resultung lag/skilldelay can be fun for anyone.
At least we had some really awesome matchups in the past weeks so i wont complain, just taking a break for one week.

Wait, weren´t you the guys who sat in Quentin for about 1hr behind 5-6 Superiour AC´s and Ballista?
Basically i´m totally okay with that i´m sure you had a whole lot of fun and lootbags there, but you can´t go to the forums and complain about us hiding in our towers and behind siege.
But okay….i guess it´s Abaddon. So you just have to complain since everybody says we fight that way.

I´m not sure if you linked the right video!? Where was that Blob you were speaking of….all i saw were fairly even numbers or you even outnumbering them with all 3 groups together.
All i saw was a DP-Guild group you were chasing for a moment, some 30ish Aurora and in the end an around 40ish group consisting of CE,ADAC and fx.

Seriously guys, if those are the 70+ Blobs you are always talking about you really need to learn to count.

P.S. Not critisizing the video at all….the fights themselves looked good….only dislike the fact that your calling that a blob.

Yea and it was one of those rare moments when we got everyone online to come to WvW too. Most of the time we can only field around 5….and we gotta whole lot to learn when it comes to roaming since most of the time we claim and defend towers on EBG. But was a really fun evening yesterday, had some good fights.

Total opposite experince today. Had to go to our homelands since there was a queue on every other border and got painfully smashed somewhere between Punk, rddt and TUP and other 20+ groups….so we had to join the zerg after a while or do pve for tonight. Felt like there were no really small groups on the map tonite.

I sense a disturbance in the ….tone in this thread. And i like it.

Most of us dont mind dying too and if we ever get to a point where we find out our playstyle doesn´t work anymore we´ll have to change too. And i think we already do to a certain degree. At least i saw at least 5 different small guild groups of around 5 people on FSP-Border. (like explained in earlier threads, we don´t have alot of bigger WvW focused guilds who can field 10-30 so thats all for now)
I know, skill lag really sucks….it sucks for us too but really right now we can´t do anything about it. Try walking in our shoes for a moment….would you actually change your playstyle because people from another Server, your opponents tell you your playstyle sucks? Nope, i don´t think so. You´d change when you find out that it´s necessary for you to keep winning.

And you say our pug-zerg-“blobby”-things suck? maybe, but yours do too. Quality-wise there theres really not a difference.
And to be honest…..who should win a 2:1 Battle for example? The organized, outmanned group that already plays together for quite a while, has refined their tactics and is using voicecomm to coordinate or the pug-group that gathered around a blue dot on the map, hasn´t played together for the most part and only few of them are using teamspeak or whatever? tbh, if i´m part of the ordganized group i would be kinda embarrassed if i could not at least give the pug a really hard time.

Hopefully one day we can start to fight our battles in the mists, not here on the forums.

Awwwwww. Hope you won´t play against BB in the near future. Otherwise your hands will hurt if you clap everyday when their night-force caps your whole border.

So the only way to fight for your server is to roam all the time….okay as i already learned there´s only one way to play the game….yours.
With what i said i ONLY meant those people who were suggesting an alliance against our server. Those people who say they do not care about points want to ally against another server for…erm…whats the point if not the points? Thats all i wanted to say.

Actually I (like me, not my server…you get it? ) have a whole lotta fun outside of the zerg…my small guild has it too, even if we barely ever roam. So yea i already follow my own advice, thank you.
Maybe you shouldn´t generalize the players of a whole server or a whole country….but i know it makes it way easier if you´re a little narrow minded.

I didn´t mean everyone with what i said, so please don´t quote only half of what i said….i´m just fed up with all the complaining and telling us we are not playing the game how its meant to be played.

Some even say we “blob up” on purpose to cause skill lag…..i mean….seriously, a little bit more common sense please. Everyone with a little bit of a brain knows thats total BS. We often tried to explain why we play the way we do in the threads of last weeks but noone even tried to understand it. I´m okay with some smack talk in the forums but what happened here in the last weeks is…erm….i dont even have words for it.

Believe me, most of us would want last weeks matchup back too. Even if Elona outmanned us totally, all our fair weather players stayed away and we lost by quite a huge margin we actually had fun and there was nearly no complaining and whining in the forums at all.
I know for sure its asking to much but sometimes a little bit of respect for your opponent goes a long way (even if you dont like their playstyle)

Edit: Oh and btw even our “Blob” on EB yesterday at reset at around 10PM was “only” about 50ish,…so i really dont understand where you get your numbers sometimes. Sure, we have events when we have really huge zergs, no doubt about that. but we have only 2-3 of those events over the week for 3-4 hours….the rest of the time you´re overestimating our numbers just to prove your point. Ususally we dont have those 70-120 Gazillion zergs that are always mentioned here.

took you the time i needed to run from inner NW-Gate to Quentin….so seriously….how?

Well if you want to know, outer north sm whas still open and the inner we rammed before the patch hit whas still on 40 ish % so we just went for SM and got it down fast.

Yea i know, was trying to repair outer north gate before i went back down south. was just really sceptical of opening a 45% T2 Gate and killing the Lord in under 1min without “yellow swords”. So erm….gj on that one.

70 Blob? Lol, just lol. We were totally scattered when you attacked Durios. There was no “Blob” at all. Roundabout 15-20 in Durios while other 5-10 we´re running to get some supply to the tower for a counter-treb and repairs.
Most of the “pug-players” (hard to find a fitting word here since were all pug-players to a certain degree, especcially on EBG ^^) on the map got farmed by Gandara at the ruins north of our keep…and i bet Gandara had a whole lotta fun there.

Sometimes its okay to exaggerate a lil bit but if you overdo it you make a fool of yourself.

Makes more sense to attack that “side” too. Better to have your opponent lose at least one tower than forcing the other opponent to stop their attack to defend their own towers and most likely gain nothing at all in the end.

Another example:

RS holds SM and AM is attacking it. Wouldn´t it make more sense to attack Aldon´s for example than Bravost? That way you´re forcing them to split their forces rather than making us stop our attack to defend our own stuff?

Oh and please for the love of god, use the word blob more. 3 times in 2 posts is really not enough in a matchup vs 2 german servers. And to make your post even better, make sure you mix in the phrases: “open-field arrowcarts”, “hideing in towers” and “outnumbering us at least 5 to 1”

Not because it seems quite impossible to find fair fights against you in open field due to you running away or you outnumbering your opponent – this i got used to – but because of a lot of you are exploiting that skillag bug to block healing skills while you just wait behind your walls and use ACs.

I think sooner or later we might get there….but who knows and like already mentioned there are already some more or less active Guild-groups like LNS or DP.

But even if you want to you can´t change your playstlye from one week to another…(so thank you Aurora for “trying to tell us for the last two weeks”…..blablabla…lol)
You can´t just make organized groups, imho thats a process that takes quite a while. I mean…for example you [Dius] how long do you play and practise together?
I think it´s too easy to say “just oranize in another way” when you already went that way or when it was just an “natural process” while playing together as a guild. Thats nothing thats applicable to a server as a whole, especcially not a server like AM with an kitten full of small guilds.

AM´s WvW Community has already learned and evolved alot since we started at Bracket 6/7 and at least for now we have found a playstlye that works for us and that we (even if you can´t believe that) have fun with.

And like i said earlier…your servers have those mindless Zombie-Zergs (too). But since your guild groups always choose the emptier maps you might not even notice them

Yea, and if you dont have enough organized groups a bigger zerg is the only way to counter them.

And from my experience in EBG all of the servers that say we blob so much have at least the same numbers and blob as much as we do.

Wonder why noone complained about a Blob from Abaddon while you were in the lead. All i´ve read in the last weeks, was how much fun you had fighting us.

Seriously guys, your zergs are at least the size of ours and i highly doubt they are more skilled than ours. But i guess it helps to explain why you´re not in the lead this time. Feels better to think the other servers win only because of their numbers.

So just to point out having SM 4 days and then complaining about 1 time klovan and wildcreek get doubled is pretty sad imo.

And we didn´t have SM for 4 Days in a row since 2 Weeks, dunno which matchup you are talking about…today is the first time SM is T3 since reset-night and it´s definately not because we don´t want to upgrade

Seriously there is no double-teaming at all. Whats wrong with attacking a structure from server X while they are busy with fighting server Y…points-wise its just a clever decision. And there´s no difference if Server X is FR or FSP.
We also could complain about the same thing. FSP perma-attacking and taking Klovan while FR took Wildcreek an nearly Aldon´s too but we don´t…thats just how things work, especcially in EBG.
Last week you complained about our huuuuuuge Zergs and that you don´t have those numbers at all (wasn´t FSP accused of the exact same thing the week before our Matchups?) and this week, you complain that the other Servers are double-teaming you. Can´t you just accept that this is an extremely close matchup….do you really only have fun in WvW when you are dominating the matchup?
