Yep, quite low post.

In a game where biggest pvp “carrot” is trying to get better looking gear, it would be nice if you could at least see it. If you wanna talk about WoW, I think you are missing the point.

The way that toes appear throught boots is quite mediocre… they even look like ugly horns in your boots

Yeh, it’s a bit ridiculous. Please make them bigger (much bigger), can’t even see pistols/daggers… Doesn’t mind if you get better looking gear, cause you won’t see it :S

Asura’s toes can be seen through boots and, in my opinion, it looks horrible… what do you think about this? :S

I think it should be fixed, so “toes disappear” when you equip boots (only cultural armor works this way… u.u)

I agree an update from the support team would be nice, even just to say “Hey, we didnt forget about you and we are working on it.”

THIS is what I mean. Man, I feel like a plain sh.it, as if they don’t care about us… only priorize about hacked accounts and that stuff, but us who can’t really “play” neither, what? They don’t answer tickets, they only wrote a post here asking us to put some info, and then bye bye and good luck.

Is quite a shame for a company like this… I even feel bad for keeping on playing this game after seeing how are they treatening us, sincerely.

The situation with this problem and the silence of Anet is getting plain stupid. I tried to reinstall game, error 7 again. I’m really really really disappointed with this guys.

I don’t know if this helps diagnosis at all – but something a little odd just happened. I have been tearing my hair out with pretty much instantaneous DCs for the last hour since trying to play – logged in again and went and made a drink, fully expecting to be logged out by the time I cam back. Well I wasn’t? I must have left it 10 minutes or so – longest I have been logged in so far today – but as soon as I started to move – I got the 10 seconds of doom when you can wander round but not fire a skill before Error 7 DC. Thought it was odd that it stayed logged in while I did nothing?

Not sure if I understand you well, but I think that what you are saying is what happens to me too. If I just leave the character without moving, I can minimize game and do other things, and when I come back it’s still in game. But when I start moving around, or I go to do some quests, bam! Error 7 again. Maybe it’s related to be “doing activities”, don’t know… when it happens more frequently to me is when I’m in instances or pvp (which is the worst moment to get dc…).

Anyway, which is getting me really sick is this “no-info feeling”, we don’t know how much longer is this going to take… I’m going to start University classes and this won’t be fixed… :@

Managed to play for 30 minutes (and finish a personal story quest), but after that → error 7 + quit game cause I’m till the balls of this.

And they keep on not saying anything… really disappointed with Anet for first time ever.

There’s a bigger thread about error 7, try to go there if you want cause there’s more info and some answers from Anet (not solutions).

I got this problem too (already in stress tests), and as you said, it’s imposible to do pvp/instances cause you get kicked and bye bye progress.

I’ve been struggling with this issue since launch.
Constant disconnects at random intervals.
It’s game breaking to say the least.
I’m pretty sure we can narrow this down to not being an isolated instance.

For anyone that cares, here is my Network Diagnostic.

Also please allow a grace period in WvW for those of us suffering from this issue. Nothing is more infuriating than waiting hours in the queue to finally join and then immediately be knocked out by this error.

This. If you can’t manage to solve this problem fast, we should at least be able to keep our progress in instances (man, this is the way in so many games, why not here?). You go pvp -> kicked -> bye bye progress + more queue. You go personal story quest -> kicked -> bye bye progress + repeat and eat all dialogues again. Is a ****ing pain trying to finish a story-quest and get disconnected when you are about to finish it. I’ve had to try many of them maybe for 10-15 times before I managed to finish them without getting kicked.

Anyway, please try to solve this error 7 as soon as posible. Some of us have been waiting for more than a week (+ beta weekends)

Same here, but I’ve been suffering this since stress tests. There’s another big thread about this error, better go there instead of opening more about the same issue (I’m from Spain too, but our forums seem to be quite isolated compared to this).

Let’s see what happens, but I feel quite bad cause I paid 55€ to play this long waited game, and I’m getting really sick with it.

Well, I have to add that I thought I was “the only one” (not the only, but you know…) with this problem, but I see that there’s a lot of people with the same issue. At least, it would be nice to know if Anet is really working on this, cause I’ve been suffering this since stress tests, and nothing has changed. And I don’t think this is in our hands, we are all saying that this is the only game that gives us problems, so it would be strange to be our fault.

They don’t answer to tickets about this, they don’t reply (at least to me) in Facebook/Twitter when I ask about this problem… in my opinion this is a shame. Some Anet’s feedback would be nice.

And as I said, OK, if it’s the only way, but why everything works perfectly but not this game? If I use wifi is cause I don’t “want” to have my house with cables all around, not viable as a long time solution

May I ask what router are you using? Also are you getting full wifi signal ? If having a cable is a hassle then check for wifi signal interference.

I usually get 4/5 or 5/5 “signal bars”, so it works fine. As I said, this is the only game that gives me problems, and reading other users posts (in this and other forums) I think that many of them use cable and got this problem too.

Anyway, I think it SHOULD work with wifi, why everything works and this not? I imagine this is a server’s problem, or any other thing that is not “in our hands”. It would be strange to be able to work fine with anything but this game :S

I’ve sent several tickets about this some days ago, no reply. Hope that now you can do something… This error 7 is a terrible pain in thekitten you can’t do PvP or instances, cause you get kicked and bye bye your progress. Doing quests is quite sh**ty too :__(

Ports are opened, AV and firewall disabled/uninstalled, didn’t work.
