Dueling Exists via the sPvP Custom arenas labeled “1v1 Dueling Arena”

We have grown so far to 118 members, with continuing interest from players around. We kick the ones who begin to hit the 3 week to 1 month inactivity period. Let’s continue introducing a little chaos to the world.

Cult of the Troll [Trol] is one of the (if not the first) trolling guild that has reached 100 Members. The way this guild trolls is through SPvP arenas, specifically 1v1 arenas, by taking over the arena. 1v1’s are not suppose to exist in this game, and so [Trol] was born!
Perks of the guild:
*Everyone can invite anyone
*We have our own “Dueling Arena”
*No need to represent, be an undercover Troll!
*If you PvE more than PvP, there are guild perks you can activate from the guild panel. Everyone’s a leader in this guild.
*Trolls introduce a little chaos to PvP, we are so far, one of the most disliked guilds in all of Guild Wars 2, we fight for our right for freedom, and scoff at “1v1 rules”, eliminating all who oppose us
*We have defeated previous “Anti-Trolling” guilds such as “Troll Annihilation Squad”, Tyrian heroes, and alot of random individuals who’ve tried to stop us.
Think you’re troll enough material to take back power in the mists? Join Trol! We will only grow stronger in due time.

I’m unable to download the game after this recent new patch. I’ve noticed it has been going on for some time now. What’s the problem? I don’t have Comcast either?

Seems familiar to what I’ve been having for so long. (I heard somewhere that only guild leaders or officers have it)

Sometimes when I log in and try to right click whisper or click on name in chat to whisper, the whisper channel will not appear at all. It will, however, appear 5 or 10m later. If previously, I spammed the whisper, they will all pop up in a row.

What I learnt is that if the 1st whisper attempt doesnt work, do not keep trying or it will all pop up later. I simply wait for the 1st attemp to pop up.
Or ask the person to whisper you (ask on guild chat, send a mail), then you can reply back just fine.
Or just restart the game. This will fix it for sure. (I am just lazy to do it sometimes)

This is Exactly what’s been happening to me, it gets annoying after such a long while. I’ve sent a bug report about this now.

Hello, I’ve been having this problem for as far as I remember dealing with the Whisper and Guild interference while on Guild Wars 2.

In order to reproduce the bug, you must be the leader of a guild, and press “G” and open up your guild. If you have several guilds that you are part of, click it but do not represent it. Then go back to your guild, and go to the Guild Roster of the guild you are leading and representing, and try sending a whisper to those who’ve you’ve “Invited” to your guild.

This is the part where the whisper function stops working. You can try to whisper any of your friends, guild mates or others, and the whisper function will NOT work. The messages you try sending will not work, and they are actually delivered about 5-10 minutes later.

Has anyone else experienced this bug at all?

No I was unable to take a screenshot (I closed it after I noticed it embedded and panicked).

It only had said “Verdana” in small black print with a few other lines on the Black Lion trading post window

But why would it come up on my end of the screen? (Such as the Black Lion Trading Post)

That exact text came up in very small letters on the actual window!

This is the second time I’ve gotten this as a whisper. The first time, I noticed the Black Lion Trading company window had this exact same text in small letters and in black (sadly I closed it and forgot to screenshot).

So my question is, what are they trying to attempt to do? Add text to my windows?

Hmm ok, I will report my findings soon. One of the findings I know they’re sharing is when “they need something from said account”, they’ll log off from one account and automatically login the other, once they did what they wanted, it logs off, then logs back into the first account. Hmmm

I’ve recently been bumping into this problem a few times during gameplay.

All of a sudden everyone would go “quiet”, and no chat would appear in my chat box. I would attempt to type something, and nothing would come out. It feels like I get muted at times (even though I don’t get the excessive message suppression).

I have to always exit the client, and relaunch the game to stop the bug. Going to the character selection screen and back in doesn’t “fix” it.

Anyone know why this bug happens? or has anyone had similar experience to this?

I know this is a violation via the User Agreement, but I have a different question.

Is one able to report a "Suspected Account Sharer? Would they be able to run IP checks or traces, or at least send a warning letter about “possible account sharing”, and consequences if they continue, so both parties are alert and aware about this?

Oh well, we only did just pay $60 for the game.. I got my 60 bucks worth I guess, but i feel bad for the newer players now.

yeah I hope so. I relaly do like Gw2 alot, but the amount of people participating from before and now is so much less.

Unrewarding, boring, and just about everything with it. Not even the dungeons get any loving anymore.
Just went to Orr with a friend to see what was up. (we where tired of doing WvWvW every single day) and it was empty. The entire map was empty, Oh Lord. Can’t do anything now.
I was here the first few weeks when Guild wars 2 was launched, and it was amazing when there was a large group getting ready to go.

I’m bored with Guild wars 2 PvE, i’ll just level up all of my alts through WvW since that’s what’s available now.

This is more of a rant, than a post. 5-6 months into the game, and map areas are already empty.

A suggestion would be to merge servers into 1, i don’t see many active players around anymore

It’s very irritating to be disconnected on the fractal of the mists, and can’t get back in like other dungeons. This is maybe the 10th time i’ve been disconnected.

Kind of sucks, the disconnection is only from communication from my entry to the game entry point, rest of internet works fine

Any idea on a fix yet? I’m getting kind of tired of this

What seems real unfair is terms of WvWvW and PvP, is the Thiefs ability to stealth while doing a finisher.

That pretty much sucks, because they 100% kill you if you’re not a guardian with the big blue shield thing while downed..

Make it so thiefs cant use finishers in stealth. That’s really annoying.

Seen this discussion, and here’s the thing. Everyone else can finish everyone too including the guardian. Stealth is the weakest protected stomp because it’s only one that can be CC’d.

The thing is, once you’re down, it’s basically over. You’re downed, they hit stealth, no way to counter, or even have a chance at getting up. You’re done for

Is there a way to join your friends in the Jumping puzzle, or Choir mini-game???
I really would like to play with them, but i’m always put in a random team.

Is there a way to join their game? (Kind of like Structured PvP)

yeah, a friend of mine d/c’d into the dungeon, and then another squadmate d/c’d 5 minutes later, couldn’t finish the dungeon run, and we where so far! We all had to stop and call it quits after :/
