And the PRO escapades start on here, too. Is it really that hard to refrain from posting on a topic that says we are not interested in your opinion? Just because you have something to say doesn’t mean that you should say it.

They had a perfectly fine system in GW1 for finding groups. You could put descriptions of what you were looking for. So odd that they didn’t keep or modify it…

It means having to play a class twice as well to get half the results.

Ahhh, this thread is nice relief. If you look at the number of posts that have the word PRO in it in the other thread, you’ll find it’s probably greater than 66%. I don’t know why they like to spam, but they do it well.

As to that random DR dude who can’t read, I know that quite a few of us in Kaineng are tired of capping stuff when we are on and losing everything an hour after we get off. You’ll probably be seeing a lot more open field and supply camp fights because we are tired of getting night and day capped and then told that we are outplayed and it isn’t a numbers game.

I don’t know if you know this, but no one really cares about other servers giving themselves pats on the back. Don’t really care if you are communicating better or your commanders are awesome. I just wanna kill sheeit.

I haven’t played at all tonight so i can’t take any of this credit but look at a TRUE prime time lead, also look at the time here. This is from us having to capture all these keeps that are probably fully fortified already with decently high supplies. GJ to those that were there.

Here’s another “primetime” pic. See, the potential points numbers are too easy to fluctuate. Also…prominent guilds in your server state your primetime lasts up until bout 12-1am btw.

Lol, did it the other day for the first time and died maybe twice? Sounds like somebody isn’t good at the game and needs to get better armor. I will give it to you that fighting the same boss is kinda lame. You can tele and mist form out of the crystals, too.

Man, I cannot understand all these people trying to justify playing a ranger in dungeons. They are just not good.

1. Damage – There damage is sub par at best. Plain and simple. I have a ranger with full berserkers and the damage is terrible compared to just about any other class. Condition damage is almost decent if you are full spec’d into it and standing in the right spot for shortbow auto attacks.

2. The Pets – Sorry, I don’t care how much you spec into beast mastery, those things are going to go down, and fast. If half the people in dungeons can’t dodge monster and boss spec’s that take them out almost instantly, you can’t micro your pet to do it. Not to mention half the fights you have to dodge the big damage; let me know if you pet can do that.

3. Condition Removal – Lol, nonexistent. If you think that removing 1 condition every 25 seconds with healing spring is acceptable condition removal, you need to try out another class. Only thing good is the water combo field.

4. Survivability – The only good things about them is that they are ranged. If you are running anything other than bows or an axe, you are doing something wrong. Yes you can dodge 4 times with a sword, but good luck trying it when you are rooted in place autoattacking. All survivability involves is running away and thus, not doing damage. I’ve ran pure survivability but still can’t stay up because…

5. Healing – Only 1 healing slot on rangers, no utility skills at all. And the shortest of those is 20 seconds.

6. Spirits – Lol. 2 hit by a granny with a cane, ’nuff said.

Of course people will come up with counters to all these points, spouting off instances where ranger utilities and skills are so good and can’t be outdone by ANY other class. But I and a majority of members in the community have realized that rangers are barely viable and terribly inefficient. You may be a kittenong all GW2 players and be the best ranger in the game, but you have to remember the majority of players do not have your awesome prowess.

And just to prove that I’m not just a ranger hater, check out the screen shot of almost 600 hours on a my ranger. I really wish the ranger was good for dungeons (or anything at that matter) and I have tried almost any build out there, but warriors and guardians can outplay them in every case. Cross your fingers that the ranger buffs will be a good one.

Ok, so we have all hit buggy dungeons and decide that it is impossible to finish the dungeon so we leave and restart the dungeon… All of us except the unlucky one who started the original dungeon. You try to log out, log in, switch characters, start new and different dungeons, come back to the old dungeon but none of it works because that one person who started the original, buggy dungeon keeps going back to that one.

Has anyone found a work around for this other than waiting an undetermined amount of time for the person who started the original dungeon or just getting a new person for the dungeon?

If not, does anyone know the amount of time in which the original, buggy instanced version of the dungeon ‘deinstancedtized’ itself?

Well, first off, badges from puzzles are NOT the man source of BoH. I’d even say that over half the people playing WvW don’t even do the puzzles daily. The OP even says they don’t WvW much so I don’t know why or how they are able to make that assumption.

As for everyone saying that badge drop rate is terrible, I say don’t run with a zerg. A group of 5 to 10 can get way more badges per hour by defending towers, capping camps, or just hunting for stragglers.

To people complaining about the loot system, think about how it could be worse. How about we make everyone’s body shine when they die and you have to run over them like in PvE? But because you can respawn immediately, you have to run over their bodies before they can waypoint. Loot bags don’t seem so bad when you think about that. Try running over someone that you kill in a tower when you can’t get inside. Be glad that you can ‘loot’ someone at all when you can’t reach them.

Lol, I’m not taking the OP in my group. I hate joining groups if I don’t know what I’m doing or if other people don’t know what their doing. I don’t know why someone would want to be the person that slows everyone down because their stats, their abilities, and their experiences are inferior. Yes, I have done runs with low levels and yes, I have had good speeds with them; however, on the whole, they are not as good as all 80’s group. It’s like people complaining about stereotyping. Why would they exist if there wasn’t at least some truth in them?

I have no idea why you would want to be THAT player that everyone is wishing they had never taken.

I also find it funny that Fubuki comes in my post to insult me….when he clearly stated he stopped blogging because of the “chest pounding” going on. So if your going to thank someone for a servers improvement please be careful not to thank those who “quit” trying to improve it when it was down and out….thank those who continued to make posts and were actually involved in getting guilds to transfer AND *were actually active on the server in WvW* when you started winning.

Pretty tough guy words seeing as how you probably only came to the server [bold]because of[/bold] Fubuki’s posts. I’m sorry, but I haven’t heard of one guild transferring over because of your posts. It’s also funny how you think he isn’t active on the server. I doubt you even know one of the names of his alt’s. And based on every video you have shown, you do little to improve our server with characters below level 30. I personally don’t like you or dislike you, but attacking someone who helped kickstart our server is not a good way to get a good rep on it.

Think its pretty clear that not all on Kaineng are the same. The opinions/posts/attitudes of some on forums do not represent our server as a whole. Being on Kaineng since day one, I can tell you some of the most vocal people have, indeed, not been here since the beginning. Most are trying to be humble. I think everyone is excited for the win, though. Good luck to everyone in the next coming match up.

Nope, you pretty much summed up WvW. You aren’t missing anything.

Yep, been playing on Kaineng since day 1. Stuck through thick and thin (pretty much all thin) and we are getting a pretty steady influx of WvWer’s. I get excited when all the scores are within x2 of each other. Used to the first place team having 15x the amount of points as 2nd and 3rd. Props to both DR and Ferg. It’s been fun as hell.

Lol, sorry, had to laugh at this one. IWAY, Blood spikes, Chain Lightning Spikes, Paragon Spikes, Hexways, Spiritway, SF spikes, Ranger Spikes, etc…

All major GW1 pvp builds. All rinse and repeat of the same builds. Not one thought of innovation and imagination was rewarded.

Side Note: Swapped to warrior instead of my ranger. Can’t be asked to spec into pet skills that I don’t want in the first place. Make pets optional?

No one in Kaineng liked Smilingknight, the OP. Glad to have him gone, sorry for DR. Anytime we see KWBH in WvW, we go out of our way not to screw over Devona’s, but to make him and his guildies have to pay for some armor repairs. He transferred because he came to realize that no one enjoyed playing or working with him. There is no hypocrisy when you just don’t like someone.

Psshhh, Kaineng sure knows how to throw a party. Nothing like leading a bunch of randoms straight into the legendary defenders. We had the devotion of the whole server tonight. Awesome Job Guys. This is KAINENG!!!

Orbs, believe it or not, are a factor in this game. 150 to all stats and 15% more life is a pretty sizable advantage.

If you watch the video, you will see a bunch of randoms outside cliffside, the majority are not level 80. Go ahead and tell me in that video if you see more than 2 people from the same guild. And, I am pretty sure everyone can tell from the video that we were holding you off at your spawn point. Eventually you are going to take it back. Good job on taking it with overwhelming numbers.

It’s not that we dont’t WvW much, its that we don’t have enough people to fill every borderlands. Not to mention the fact that it is always 1v1 as far as servers. Devona’s and Kaineng can only play on one map at a time, and most often we aren’t playing on the same one. So it is Devona’s with a half full borderlands, Kaineng with a (usually) half full borderlands vs any given green team who can field both borderlands at the same time.

I got well over 1250 badges in 3k kills, sounds like you need to stop zerging and go around and kill some people or solo some camps.

I’m not seeing the big deal. If you are about to kill someone, or think someone you hit might be dieing soon, just hit your pickup button. Get a bunch of decent-sized inventory bags, turn on autopickup everything and have at it. Only annoying if you are on the run and a bag drops but that is just a backwards roll away. Plus calling to your guild that you are running back in for your bags is always exciting, you never know if you are gonna make it out alive.

And the results are in. Kaineng gets a butt-whooping again. Kinda feeling for DR too but the screwed us over multiple times so not tooooo upset…

Please deal with them quickly and harshly, nothing ruins a game like bots. Also, they are somehow moving positions without actually moving (you can tell because their bears move and they just magically teleport to random spots). Maybe this is a glitch as well? Another thing is that as I am writing this, the spellchecker is saying that the word teleport is misspelled. You should add it into your spell-checking reference dictionary.

Never seen a queue. Whats it like? Must suck to not be able to play WvW whenever you want. Kaineng fo’ life!

A couple days ago same things happened. DR at its finest. Everyone’s got it in for Kaineng, but Kaineng don’t care. Number 1 server fo life.

Kaineng doesn’t want your pity. We will get our act together and hit number 1 status. Our glitched garrison is holding us together.
