I went in and made some of your trinkets exotic, which allows for more boon duration doubloons. Additionally, you will need to be running bountiful sharpening stones to get close enough to 100%. Magnanimous utility consumables are only better if you have 1500 Toughness, healing power or vitality, of which you have none

But there’s no proof of this when there is no opposing situation for comparison.
We have never had a long period where everything was available, which may in fact be more profitable but untested by ANet.
The point is that this is not unique to Arenanet and Guild Wars 2. This is a well known psychological marketing tool that has been proven to work in many other situations. There is no need for them to test what their sales would be like if they left everything in the gem store at all times. I can find sources for this, but honestly I explained how this entire thing works a few posts up.
That’s a whole lot of sacrifices to make just to have to not resummon your phantasms. In my opinion, just think ahead if you’re in a group fight and your current target is about to die.

In the case of much sought after items like the wizard’kitten, aviator sunglasses etc, scarcity definitely builds hype and supports the sales by increasing the amount of people who buy it “just to have it” and not necessarily because they need it. These people wouldn’t buy the skins if they were always available, as they would only buy the skins once they were needed, which is probably never.
This is a very good business strategy and 100% definitely works. This strategy also explains why some of the skin packs and outfits are always available. There is no hype factor behind them (as far as I understand), hence just letting people buy them whenever they want to is the best idea in order to prevent missing possible sales from the people who do need them, like OP.
Maybe go Runes of Dwayna instead of Rune of the Dolyak, as the Dolyak rune barely does any healing per second and Dwayna adds extra duration to your regen + another proc.

If you’re interested in being one of the cool-kid power reapers, I’d suggest checking out Brazil’s guide video on it. I believe he managed to go up to about 20k-ish DPS, which is certainly not bad.

Hey, I just made a survey (mostly for my own curiosity) to see what class is the most popular, what race is the most popular, who raids and how often people play.
I’m not sure what you guys are all on about. Necro can be so amazingly tanky, it’s just ridiculous. Blood magic + death magic + reaper top, bot, top and you are practically invulnerable. If you are running Rise! on top of that, the nerf from 50% to 33% or however much it was won’t make a huge difference, as people and mobs are gonna have a hell of a tough time taking you down anyway.

Hey man, cba finding the quote but you mention that the guild I referred you to asked you to have full ascended and at least having killed VG. That’s a blatant lie, as I was invited to the guild even though I clearly stated that I did not have full ascended gear and that I hadn’t killed Vale Guardian. The guild leader you spoke to even showed you three applications of people saying the exact same thing as I said in my application, yet you continue to act as if the guild is the devil simply because they didn’t want someone with your attitude.
The problem here is how you behave and simply refuse to listen to what other people who have more experience than you tell you is best. You want to make the entire raid fail over and over so you can realise on your own that “oh wait… yeah maybe this raid leader who has killed this boss 20 times knows what’s right to use here…”. Now obviously I know you would never actually admit you were wrong but that was just an example.
Also as a side not to any potential Arenanet employees following this (quite funny) thread, could you kindly just ignore it? <3 This guy’s opinions are far from what most people feel and to be fair his attitude is ridiculous and he was seemingly expecting to be declined from the get-go, because of us “meta-drones” who use the optimal builds not wanting to invite a guy that will wipe us over and over.
Hi Phoenix, not sure if you just never check the raid LFG or what’s up here, but I personally host Spirit Vale training runs (open to anyone) every Wednesday and Sunday and I know for a fact that a lot of other people do this too.

I always try to go for 100% items from different sets, but I couldn’t manage to find good boots that looked good with the rest of the set, so had to have double leystone items. :p
