To update this: This morning, I decided to attempt to equip the items in question to see if I was prompted for soulbind then or not. If I attempt to put on the items in question, it asks me if I wish to soulbind them every single time, to which I respond “No” and it does not equip the item. However, the items themselves are flagged as soulbound on the tooltip and I cannot mail them off to my wife.

I reported it as a bug in game, and submitted a ticket. Whether the devs should look at it or not, the CS staff needs to give me back my mats or un-soulbind these items.

I spent approximately a week farming materials to produce an exotic level 80 staff. This was to be a surprise from me and my best friend for her upon hitting level 80, which was schedule to happen (and did happen) on our wedding anniversary. This was to hopefully doubly cheer her up because she’s had an incredibly rough past few weeks with her grandfather dying right after the game released. After farming up these materials, I sent them along to my friend to create the staff. He created the staff without a hitch. He mailed the staff back to me to forward along to her. While he was doing this, I was in Lions’ Arch Overflow on the Jade Quarry server. I crafted a rare (yellow) greatsword for her as well to make it an even sweeter surprise. Upon receipt of the staff from him in a mail message, took it out of hte mail message and prepared to forward it along only to notice that it automatically soulbound when I collected it from my mail message. I attempted to send the greatsword along only to notice it was soul bound now as well.

I’d like to re-iterate, at NO point did I click “yes soulbind” at no point did I double click on either weapon, at no point did they come anywhere near my character sheet. They both soulbound instantly upon removing the staff from the mail message. I would like this resolve immediately or the materials for the staff and greatsword refunded to me immediately. I also think you should refund my friend the materials for the yellow staff he made her to tie her over that he should not have had to use while you sort this out.

You may have tickets in from multiples of my guild, but the guild Grievance on the Jade Quarry server was “removed” or “deleted” or whatever starting after the maintenance one night last weekend (last sunday? I think it was). This was a 250+ person guild with a few hundred thousand influence points. When a few days later it was clear nothing was going to be immediately resolved, we recreated the guild as Dark Grievance as a temporary measure to keep people in contact and to have some record of influence gained. We would like our original name and roster back as well as our earned influence from before the bug. We would also like to see the temp guild influence from Dark Grievance merged into the original Grievance guild. You can contact Finestra Starbreeze our guild leader for more details.

I cannot buy gems. At all. I’m TRYING to throw money at you and cannot. To expand on this, I have tried my debit card, my wife’s debit card (same bank account), paypal (same bank account), and two totally different credit cards (different accounts and even different issuing creditors. None of these work. Furthermore, I’ve tried all five of these options on both my account and my wife’s account. To go even further: I’ve tried all five of those payment options on both my account and my wife’s account on both my computer and my wife’s computer. So all-in-all I’ve tried twenty different payment/account/computer combinations multiple times, and I am unable to purchase gems with any of those combinations at any time. Also, before it gets asked, yes there is plenty of money in said bank account and plenty of credit on said credit cards.

For a time frame, the first time I would have tried to purchase gems on either account would have been Friday, 8/31/2012. Nothing has changed despite trying every day since then and submitting a support ticket (with no response).
