My asura cosplay of Frosch from Fairy tail is not complete without a kitty tail!
Anet we need this! I have the frog hat and a full pink/white setup close to the suit that Frosch wears but i still miss the tail
and a the best wings (thou we have never seen Frosch wings) are the holowings on it.
So there is less “Wts my x legendary” in the LFG but even more of
“WTS gw1 acc 50/50hom 2k gold pm me”

“selling of home instance” and other kinds of weird posts on the lfg.
Is Anet observing this and should there be a ingame text what you can and what you can not put in the lfg?
I am really getting fed up with these wtb and wts “listings” on a place they should not be.
So anyone else seen this and what are your stances on the whole LFG “misuse” as I put it?
On the series this weeks annoying comments why ppl don’t wanna play conquest.
“Leaderboard resets every month why should I care I don’t get there anyway”
" U are so bad you can’nt win without me helping you?"
" I need my daily guardian only, if we lose on the first midfight I afk simple stop qq this is not serious pvp"
“I don’t care about you or your stupid leaderboard I play how I want because I can”
And some other things on temple people going on about how tranquility again gets you both buffs etc.
But yea yet again people are just using Ranked play as a farming stage for daily.

Seen few people bringing up the “how I want to play argument”.
Guys seriously isn’t Unranked and CUSTOM arena for that?
You know as the name would imply Unranked is there for a safe place to kitten around a bit, test few things etc.
If you just want to go of the rails totally kittenstomprofl day you go play in a custom arena that has funny roleplay rules or something like that?
Aren’t those two places for ppl like that? Am I thinking this too logically?
Ranked like it or not is ranked arena meaning it should be bit serious and all about the one objective in the game which is winning.
Not goofing around with pew pew rangers taking duels below a trebuchet on khylo.
Ranked Arena should be the place to go to get good matches with decent pvpers who know what they are doing and not a pve players place to farm their daily with a pew pew ranger a mile away from a anything that resembles a capture point.
I seriously think there is a bit of a disconnect what people should be doing and what they are doing.
If we truly want a better pvp community.
If Anet really wants this game to be esports we can’t have the Ranked arena that is supposed to be one step down from esl cup, that is one step lower than the wts and whatnot tournaments,
To look like a gindergarden where everyone is there for their own dailies and “fun” and nobody gives a kitten about the main objective which again is winning!
Even today we had some matches where the 4rd and 5th member of the team constantly ignored the rotations, pingings and drawings.
And everything else they have been told from 3 guys that are on ts knowing where the enemy team is and informing them of where they should be and they just ignored it match after match.
The few that actually answered were along the lines " I don’t care" “not my problem” “I am not here for leaderboard I didn’t even know there is one” “lick my kitten”
And some other funny stuff that can’t be said on the forums.
But basically the gist is people do not care as simple as that.
If you think about it there is something seriously wrong at that point when your playersbases mass players don’t care about the game mode they are playing, or care to play it right cause either the community or outisde the community they have gotten a picture they shouldn’t care.
Why is it that even on this thread some of you said that “your way of playing” should go against the 3 guys that are there for the actual designed purpose of the game mode to win?
Why is it that one guy who wants to goof around why is his way more valuable than the 3 or in some cases 9 other players who want to have a good match in a ranked arena that are there for the designed purpose of the mode?
What gives that one guy the right to goof around in a situation like that?
Would you say same about something else sports for example in a car race how is that one guy in the middle of the pack his fun of motorsports is to cause crashes and he does it race after race ruining other peoples cars and races in the process but he still thinks that is fun, should he be allowed to continue?
Probably not on the second or third time he would be disqualified out of the series.
And yes that was a bad one but it was the one that came to mind ^^.
Dunno just my random toughts on the subject after becoming more active on the pvp bit more seriously again.

Dishonred is not on right now that might be part of the reason.
WTS tournament is a poor example of what the solo experience is like, first tournament play is about kills and kills lead to points, that is not true in most non tournament games. Tournament games have more teams fights also not true in most normal matches. Solo matches are about your effect on the map and not the tournament standard of kills.
My point about the WTS was that they had a nice introduction video for the maps .
Could that or some kind of version of that be implemented in the game for players to get a clearer sense what they should be doing.
All of the terms for builds and comps have been made by the community there is nothing in the game that explains to people what they should be doing with their builds expect the small pop up in the match start that obviously no one reads.
So many people are just getting a build from the meta sites or friends and totally ignoring the point of that build when they go play.
“Ranked” should not be ranked if its just a coinflip if you actually get players that care about winning its a total shot in the dark.
If there are no penalties for kittening things up why should you care about winning?
If only a small subset of the playerbase is interested in testing or trying out the leaderboard its very frustrating for that subset of people to try to win for the leaderboard when no one else is there for that reason.
tl;dr – pls force others to play how I want them to play

Well its not like you can play a bunker as a zerker and viceversa its just that people seem to ignore most of their build functions and role setups in the game.
Some kind of general awareness of your build and the comp you are up against would be nice and the want to win.
Most people seem to be on a zombimode and hoping for a win atm.
Today’s Amazing reasons for not caring about winning:
Unnamed engi: “I don’t like to idle” So he kitten s the match by trying to turret enemies spawn point…
Warriors playing Pve builds on pvp “because so does everyone else when its their daily class”.
“I don’t care about your win or your ladder I am here for rank points that the ranked arena gives even if i lose”
So Happy Eastern to everyone without a full team this weekends pvp will be amazing.
3.5k Games played 200 of those in the New leaderboard test season and for the love of All cute kittens Anet you Need to make Players care about WINNING the match.
If you do not have a full team but are with 1-3 Friends it is most of the time hard to get the rest of the team to play, as a team….
The Reasons that most Pug players give for not playing the conquest right in the ranked que from the last week are:
1: They do not care or want to win cause losing gives something as well.
2: They do not understand what they are doing wrong by roaming most of the time and not fighting on the points cause holding points does not give scoreboard points. they see fighting on the points as waste of time.
3: Or they do not understand that holding a home point with a bunker while the rest of the team is having a hard time 4vs5 on a different point while the bunker is afk on the home node.
4: They do not Understand Mechanics or Rotation orders in the match,
Temple of the silent storm is maybe the worst example of this as people just can’t or won’t get the stillness at the set times.
Too many ppl think the tranquility does something else than it actually does as in swapping the points for the team that gets the buff.
5: There is no penalty.
The dishonored buff is not on right now so there is nothing stopping people who want to leave or afk while the match is going on.
There have been less 4vs5 right out of the gate after the implemtation of the Que rdy button but it still does not remove these people that come to the games constantly and either afk or raqequitting after the first mid fight.
Outside the leaderboard ranking there is nothing that entices a random Joe actually giving a kitten if the team wins or not.
Even if you try to get them to play “right” or just getting to the right points by drawing or pinging on even writing in the Team chat most people consider this as annoying or “making me play how you want” and just blocking you for distracting their play.
Also people pay too much attention to the ingame scoreboard which in reality does not reflect how good you played.
The other team can have few players with 200-300 points but still lose cause no caps were taken by their team just roaming kills or trebuchet hits.
In too many games have our guys been yelled at that we lost the game cause we had less than 150-200 score on the board and it didn’t add to the total score or, that we didn’t let the enemy team cap our points so we could cap them back for more points as it is done in the unranked and custom arenas.
This behaviour is getting even more noticeable as people are just running around the map waiting for the other team to do the same which shouldn’t be the case in ranked.
It is really getting to me and my teammates nerves after 200 matches that it does not matter how well we do cause the rest of the team “kitten s” around and we will lose the match just because they didn’t care to win.
It is taking a toll on the enjoyment of the game, to be reminded on the end of the match that yes we did good but the rest of the team destroyed your work by not working together either due to ignorance or just because they could.
You had some nice videos about the maps on the WTS tournament could there be a chance to get those videos to the game before the match starts? or reworking the reward structure to make a greater emphasis on winning and not kittening up your team.

For the First 2 Hours that you let us be there it was maybe the most smooth stress test I have participated in.
No Crashes not even a single one in the two hours, No noticeable lag either few Frame drops here and there but nothing serious.
So performance side it was surprisingly good.
Few bugs People flying on the roof on the wywern fight The wywern itself glitching to the roof or just dissapearing.
The confusing part was the Mastery UI even thou I personally knew you needed to “activate” the mastery lines and then get xp to it to get it working its not that clear yet from the UI so that is something you guys are probably already working on.
And it was somewhat clunky to use overall so that needs some work yet.
Gliding well it is clunky not as clunky as people have said it was or could be but yea it is bit clunky.
I think most of the problems come from the be in freefall before activating it and that the gliding animation itself looks bit stiff it would need to be bit more animated to feel good but as a mechanic yea it does what it is supposed to be doing glide.
Revenant oh boy. where to start….
Weapons perhaps well at least the few we had access to.
Hammer: Didn’t like it at all not sure what it was perhaps that the animations and the skills were bit well meh.
The autoattack was bit boring to say the least
The number two kinda had the feel of the hammer.
but it was brought down by the other skills it had the necessary UMPH that hammer should have but somewhat lackluster compared to say warriors hammer.
Didn’t like the number three skill at all I felt I lost the control of the character when I did it and at first I was not even sure if I was supposed to move with the animation or not it was bit confusing in the middle of the chaos.
The number four skill the reflect wall was a cool thing about the hammer it worked better than i hap hoped thou the lack of ranger mobs on the area kinda didn’t give enough opportunities to test it but overall it was a nice skill.
Number 5 DROP THE HAMMER oh well it kinda felt lackluster as well,
on wywern it was handy but against the normal mobs it felt bit lackluster again.
The overall feel from the hammer as a ranged weapon or as a hammer lacked the Umph a massive weapon like the hammer should have.
Mace oh boy now we are talking.
Autoattack chain was amazing the torment and poison you could deliver on a big group of mob was nice to look at and the skills themselfs felt like mace swings should feel like.
Number two skill might be bit op to be honest 3s cd and a 3s fire field that is fairly large it was not even hard to get 25 stacks of might with few blast finishers and few more revenants around so might be potential skill to be looked at.
Animation and feel wise it was awesome but the perma firefield might be bit op in certain places.
Number 3 blast finisher that travels forward damaging everything in its path?
Sign me up.
The number 2 and 3 combo on revenants mace was amazing to use but in all honesty might be bit op later down the line I was not even specced at might stuff and i had constant 5-9 stacks of might alone with these two skills and in groups easily over 15 and we capped it on several occasions
Axe felt like a grappling hook which was kinda amazing
Number 4 amazing shadow step skill all around the ability to target third mob in the line blitz trough them all and then line a firefield under their feet and blast them with the mace 3 was amazing combo to repeat again and again.
Number Five in theory it should have worked like the mesmer temporal curtain but I think cause the terrain on the map was so uneven it didn’t quite get the job done right but on the few places it did it was a pretty cool skill nothing else to say on it really.
The Legends well those didn’t quite hit the mark Jalis outshined the mallyx by a large amount due to the lack of conditions thrown by the enemy mobs. Both had their uses yes but jalis was just so much more usefull on the area we get to play at and mallyx was kinda useless on the wywern fight as well.
Also on the mechanic side of things was it intentional that if you changed one of the utility skills on the legends it also swapped the rest of them on the other legend? that was bit annoying to say the least.
Oh boy that is quite a large wall :S sry about that ^^
Overall feel from the Stress test and the Revenant was good some minor quirks here and there but nothing major of course the area we got to test was so small in the grand scheme of things but so far nothing glaringly broken poped up.
I have same feeling. For what we seen its like 1-2 living story updates… But we didn’t pay for Living Story.

Are you really implying that the very bite size demo for show floors encompasses everything there is and thats it?
The lot of you are bit too cynical for your own good.
I am not saying you should be hyped to high heavens but this mooding over “too little content” is just pointless at this point because we have no idea of the scope of the expansion and even when the betas roll out we still won’t have a clear picture so hold those cynical horses of yours and wait.

People plz there is no pre order yet wait until anet actually announces that pre orders are a go and we actually know the price of the product dont go buying hot air from third party retailers who are just fishing for attention atm.
They will stop putting that stuff in the gemstore when people stop buying that stuff from the gemstore. its pretty logical but i don’t see the problem of them selling the outfits really if its not something you like then don’t buy it.

The LFG is getting even more of these WTS listings there daily.
Today i asked few people why they put these there and it seems many of these buyers and sellers have read and seen a post somewhere on reddit or forums that WTS and WTB is okay on the LFG and is essentially a trading board for them to use.
Has this been said somewhere by Gaile or someone else?
Most of these people seem pretty adamant that they are not doing anything wrong and that the tp is waste of their time. I myself could not find any confirmation to one way or the other :S.

Any news on these? patch notes didn’t say that the Hero of the people had been fixed nor does it unlock anything yet with the old or the new champion boxes.
Those experiencing heavy lag and are connecting to Telias server at any point before it hops to Ncsoft servers Google Telia and ddos and lizard squad.
Those kiddies have been ddossing telias servers the last two weeks quite heavily and could relate to this episode of dc and stuff so all of the blame might not be on Anets/ncsoft server end.
Joined a cof party for p2 opened the path for the group cause they couldn’t open it everything goes well until the 3 shamans after the devourers.
I go in and start to kill but apparently that is not how you do it these days you need to stack on corner wait for the 3 guild warriors to pull the group and stand in the corner.
The mobs were 50%hp by the time they stopped raging and joined the fight after that we go the next room i get kicked for yet again “not stacking and attacking too soon”
So the guy who opened the dungeon gets kicked just because he managed to fight against simple mobs without stacking.
I am getting seriously sick of this must stack or kick mentality on even the simplest of the fights. And still no way to report these people because you lose the kitten party chat after getting kicked from the party.

Could we lock this thread gw2 is not coming to console cause of the massive rework the game would need and the Problems with the 3 console manufacturers policies on patches and ingame store.
Which is the also the reason gw2 is not on steam cause steam would want in on the gem store income and patching stuff.

After Leading a guild more or less succesfully for 1.5 years I can just say that Anet we need better ingame Guild Roster functionality. in essence we need better guild functionality.
Proposal Overview
Some kind of progression inside the guild without needing to set up forums and outside source help to get people interested in the guild.
The Guild needs something to do together Guild missions were a good start but we need something new and something that we can progress for a long period of time and that it feels rewarding and challenging to do as a guild as a set group and gain something that you couldn’t just pick a lfg group and corner your way the stuff in 30mins.
Goal of Proposal
To get people interested to do stuff together that is guild related. Dungeons meta events etc most of the people don’t do that as guild cause it is not needed expect for wurm but even on that you can join the map without having nothing to do with the guild.
Associated risks
Gating content out of everyones reach. Big guilds would still be the big guilds and the most wanted guilds. probably many more problems.
In simple words I want my guild to be relevant to the members outside our sunday guild missions which it has degraded mostly cause the guild ins’t relevant.

Otherwise good but I am looking for the “reason” it does what it does and maybe a “yes” or “no” or “maybe” buried somewhere from anet if its even possible for the journal to let us do the specific instances without restarting the whole story or a way to abondan the replay once we are done with the achies. Not after a technical gizmos or anything but some kind of “yea it does that for umm well just because it does that” would be nice :P and if its supposed to work like this and what happens once the episode 2 comes out?
So I am bit curious why the current Story journal system can’t let you play specific parts of the new content without reseting the whole thing to zero in a way?
Dunno if this has been answered somewhere or not but would really like to know if its even possible for the journal to let us chooce specific parts of the chain of events without reseting the whole event chain. It most likely has something to do how the instanced are group together to form the story.

I haven’t felt this good in this game in the 2 years i have played the closest that it comes to are some really good spvp matches but even that pales in comparison how good this felt.
5h on the gauntlet going trough few proffesions trying few more times with my main ranger and yes killing it is simple but the ranger pet makes the 8 orb challenge really hard,
Tried warrior that didn’t click with me either and then i tried my engi and felt like this could do it and after that it took 25 tries and 3h tweaking build and reading some old and current Liadri forum posts.
And man you feel awesome when you get it done and I had even 18sec left on it ^^. Thank you Anet and more of this content preferable even in some kind of group format some kind of content that really needs retries and tweaking of builds to get it done and not the current dungeons we have.
And now finally 5h from the starting to get this achie again i got it. I Feel GOOD.
I did try this several times when the Jubilee was first around and yes it is bit easier now because of the changes but the fight is still the same.
I feel so good and I felt so good that I need to make probably my first post in months.
Thank you again and I hope more of you get to know this feeling this time the Gauntlet is around I really do.

Thank you all for providing information about the issues you were having. We were able to identify the problem and the fix will be in the next Live build.
I just hope this fix patch comes before the 9th when the event ends? either way thanks for responding to us if the fix comes in time many people are able to get this stuff done.
No update on this yet? I really would want to see the stuff before the Aetherblade retreat I am missing some plot holes and aren’t yet desperate enough to go read it on the wiki.
Having some kinda of “yes we are working on this” or “no we don’t have enough time to fix this now” would be really nice so we know if we can move on from this and hope that next time we get to do the whole stuff before it goes away because the game bugs on us without our own doing.
this isnt even fun. ive never even had the chance to finish the dungeon because the first boss is so ridiculously overpowered
How the heck is frizz overpowered? Maybe if you are running on zerger gear but then again this dungeon was not made for zerger gear, seriously the boss dosen’t even do any damage after the first phase its just running around and dodging from the first part onwards.
I have now had every class expect engineers on my groups and we never failed to complete the dungeon expect the time when Kiel bugged in middle of the dungeon but rest of the times yes we did it.
and after the 5th run we have completed the 15min fight mark on the last boss several times. The very last bombardment phase is bit tedious but otherwise the fight is very enjoyable.
I just hope when they remake the rest of the current dungeons we get mob groups with these kind of synergies and interesting boss battles in those dungeons as well.
Done it with a Guild group now about 10 Times.
The first run was a bit horrible cause no one knew what to do, but by the 3rd run everyone was on bar what to do and it went smoothly.
The mobs in general are how mobs in dungeons should be a bit on the interesting part of the spectrum. they also have some nice group synergies so get the guys down who say heal or buff and the fight will get lot easier and have some CC of your own blinds/stuns/chills seem to do the most good here.
The Laser room fight is okay in my opinion it took us 5 runs to get the “faster than lightning” achievement but its no where imposible. You don’t even have to jump to the barrels before the 3rd stage of the fight.
Just get someone with a AoE stability or get one from your skills/traits if you have access to it and the golems won’t be a problem.
also having enough direct damage or condition damage helps to kill the golems bit faster. condition damage is actually bit better cause it ticks trough the shields so you have more time to pay attention to the lasers.
Mai/horrik Fight is on bar with the dredge weapon facility fight. it has some nice mechanics and interesting synergy in total. the only minus in the fight is the personal space achievement and the duration of the last bombardment cycle but otherwise its a cool and challenging fight. I really did enjoy the dungeon and have now cleared it 10 times total.
I would have hoped they fixed this on the patch but they didn’t.
so can we at least get somekind of a note here that you guys are looking in to it?
it seems there a quite alot of people having issues with this and I have no idea what happens now when I completed the dungeon without doing the previous part of the story :S?

Hello everyone, I am attempting to reproduce the issue and would like to get some more information if you can/applicable to your experience.
1. Did you have fast ground targeting box checked under options? (F11)
This makes any AoE spells land directly at your feet/location instead of giving the radial that can place the spell at another location within range. If you have that option checked, you would need to be almost directly atop the NPC you wanted to use it on.2. Did you receive a tassi box and the event UI (upper right corner) updated?
Upon receipt of the box, the event UI would display text to use the kit on the specified NPCs.3. When you have the tassi box equipped, are you using the #1 skill to bring up the radial for targeting the NPC’s that will prompt the conversation to progress the story? If you use just the [F] Key, that will only bring up a generic conversation and not progress the event.
4. If the event UI updated after receiving the Tassi box, when you scanned the characters did the event UI update again to cross their names off the list?
5. Before you left, was the event UI updated and had you speak with Kiel to end/complete and you received rewards?
6. If you left earlier before the event completed and were able to get back in, did you destroy the tassi box from your inventory to receive a new one that would progress the event and allow the scanned representatives to relay their conversations about the events that happened?
1: Yes the AoE auto targeting was on.
2: yes it did update but at that point I had no clue it was ground targeted.
3: No idea I was just spamming the first skill to progress at that moment I thought I bugged something at that point.
4: yes I think I got everyother npc than the Mei char.
5: at some point the thing did update to speak to Kiel but I still didn’t scan all of the npc I am pretty sure mei was the only one but could have missed someone else as well
6: I can’t get back in I dc’d at the moment I was speaking to Kiel I even destroyed the inspector Kit/tassi box. I even backtracked to Div reach to speak to the detective she says I must go meet her in the crime scene but Kiel dosen’t let me get back in the instance and the npc outside don’t give any progress to the storyline or the achievement.
So a solutions or a fix if the problem was in the instance when I dced would be nice either I am screwd out of the achievements
