The only reason they would do that if people stop buying bl-keys cause they are fed up with RNG. I only hear complaints bout RNG, but don’t realise that complaining and still buying wont help a thing. All Anet is seeing is that the keys are selling and they are making a huge profit on it, so there is no reason to believe the NRG-haters and adept the system. So if you want RNG removed from bl-keys, then stop complaining but most off all stop buying!

Nothing will be changed as long as a lot of people are buying the BL-keys!

Yeah I wonder why people buying such overpriced item! Maybe if key was 25 gems, not 125… There are so many great ideas how to improve the thing. I hope that someone from Anet is checking this subforum.

If you only transmuted the item once, it should give back the skin. Then do as I said above and everyone is happy :P.

You can put the skin on non binded scrap which you can get with Quaggan/Tiger something backpack from TP. But it must have the description that it has white scrap included so you can put the skin on it. Then the skin becomes account bound and you can transfer it to your thief. Back in a day I did this with soulbounded Mad King Memoires.

In addition to a chest always giving a ticket scrap, one thing I think Anet should do is Always reward 1 Black Lion Key or Always give 1 Ticket Scrap for completing any of the maps in the game. That way Players are motivated to go out there and level new characters and complete maps they play on. This would also allieviate some of the problems with Player-Controlled prices, because most of the RNG risk is now removed, but it will still take alot of time to get one of these tickets, and any player can now go out there and invest their own time in getting weapon skins instead of just buying gems, or hoping that its available on the trading post for a good price.

Edit : Another thing is, only maps above level 20 should give that reward, so players don’t just create a new character and run through all the starter areas over and over again.

Also really great idea. Hear hear us Arena Net! This RNG thing really takes fun off the game sometimes.

In my opinion EVERY Black Lion Chest should contain 1 Scrap. That way after opening 10 you would get 1 full ticket. It would cost 1125 gems so I think it’s a fair price for a weapon skin? Considering that for some skins you need more tickets. So every chest=1 scrap with a chance for a full ticket. What do you guys think? I think that more people would be tempted to buy keys this way.

Today I made level 30 run. From end boss chests: 1 rare. I got 2 named exotics and 2 rares from mobs in the fractals. Now I can see it clearly that chests are seriously broken.

If you do level 9, being level 9, you will be 10 after. If you do 10, the same.

I’m right after level 26 run. Got only 1 rare from the chest (maybe chests are broken?) and 1 from mob. Also 2 rares from greenies put into MF. Not bad, more acceptable than yesterday’s fail.
What is your experience?

Nope! RNG is RNG. No special character flags for loot. Nothing loot related was changed with maintenance, but that never stops people from making these posts after every single maintenance about it.

Yeah because day earlier and many days before I didn’t have such bad luck. So it makes me wonder, you know. Not to mention after January 28th patch many people noticed worse drops in fotm as many threads on this forum were mentioning. And lately there was something discovered in loot tables and you work on a fix (I hope). So something IS happening with loot. But ok, I’ll just believe that today my RNG sucked. Thanks for the reply.

Level 28
I got 1 rare from dungeon and 1 rare from putting greens into MF.
Using Black Lion Salvage Kit I got 0 globes from them.
Level 16
I got 1 rare from dungeon and 0 rares from putting greens into MF.
Using Black Lion Salvage Kit I got 1 glob from this one.
Level 2
I got 2 rares from dungeon and 1 rare from putting greens into MF.
Using Black Lion Salvage Kit I got 1 glob from them.

So is this really a point in doing higher lvls, where much more effort and time is needed and you get worse rewards than on earlier levels? Guess not.

Before yesterday’s maintenance everything was fine, not superb, but ok. Anyone encountered the same thing? Or is my luck (aka RNG) so bad?
Is BL Salvage Kit worth its price? 300 gems or 6 g.
Ah I run with no MF gear, only MF food.

Update: I’ve just finished lvl 22 run with my mesmer. Got 4 rares and 4 globs off them. So the RNG is tied to the character? I’m truly lost.

Adjust means nerfed to the way it was. Why the hell they change something in one day and revert another.
