I’m really disappointed that the starter town clothing simply vanished. I’m not sure if it was supposed to be turned into a tonic or not, but I can’t find it anywhere. I would love to have it as an outfit in the wardrobe, but if I can’t, I’d like to have at least an endless tonic version.

I’m not sure in which of the “Update” threads should I post a question about the changes to the Hero Panel.
I’m courious why the icon representing character’s personality (and charm/dignity/ferocity) was removed from the Hero Panel?

I’m not sure if someone already pointed this out – I’ve noticed that after the latest patch the icon representing personality of a character on the hero panel. I know it didn’t have any impact on the game itself, but I really enjoyed observing how my status is changing based on charm/dignity/ferocity options I could choose in certain dialogues and in the character creation.

I’m perfectly aware it’s not a game-breaking change, but it didn’t hurt to have this icon on the panel. If it’s not broken, why change it?

I bought one myself on the day it was released – for some time now I wanted to buy unlimited gathering tools, but missed the new year’s sale. So when I saw a new one in store I bought it instantly, especially since it matches my engineer.
But there was no info about bonus sprockets in the gem store. I was pretty surprised when I got a few of them on a second node. Only then I went to the forums and found out about that 20% sprocket bonus. Now think about it – how many people go to the site first before they buy something, to check a FULL description of the item.

KDXX – thanks! I really like flamethrower, so I’m going to try it out. TBH “mid-line” is what I had in mind, when I was choosing an engineer.

Could you tell me what stats are you using then? I’m pretty new to GW, so I don’t know how some things are called exactly, but by HP I meant toughness. That’s why I said I’m considering Knight’s gear, as it is toughness-power-precision.

I tried WvW but for now I think I’ll stick mainly with PVE. I thought that berserker is good for that, but I’ve heard it’s going to be nerfed, and anyway – engineers don’t have a great HP.

Hey all!

I’ve just started gearing up my engineer and don’t really know which stats I should choose. I’m considering Berserker and Knight or a combination of those, and maybe Rampager or Rabid. But TBH I don’t know much about engineers as it is my first (and a first character in GW2 anyway).

I’ll appreciate any suggestion you could give me

Actually I don’t understand Anet’s policy here. I’m not a Blizzard supporter, but at least they help their players in such situations. As far as i know, they even have a support feature in account management which lets a player to restore every recently deleted/sold item.

And they restore deleted characters, even though players have to type DELETE when they are erasing them.

Aaaand they have no problem with searching through the game logs/chats…

I admit i was slightly disappointed myself, when I noticed that there is no gift chest like that this year. I know we have one with a mini from achievements, but it’s a bit different to get something on today’s morning like a real xmas gift.
I wasn’t playing last year and I had a little hope to get that toymaker’s bag skin, as it looks really great…

Hello all!
I’m having a problem when I try to launch GW2. I keep getting this error code:
Error 42:1000:7006:892

I’ve already forwarded ports 80, 443, 6112 and 6600. PFPortCheck sais that they are open. I’ve tried running the game with both my firewall and antivirus turned off (I’m using Avast). I tried to run it as an administrator.
I did fluch my dns and reset winsock.
Nothing works and I still cannot connect. I really hope that someone would be able to help me.

I was going to try and write you what is wrong with my computer, but TBH I have totally no idea >_> And I don’t even know what to describe.

It was like – I was playing yesterday night, doing the daily when something happened and everything stopped working. And it smelled like a burned thing.

And I think I could have overreacted with all this cr… kittet laptop searching.

Good news, I’ve found a service which can give an expertise for free before starting the repairs, so I’m taking my PC there tomorrow.

Thanks for words of courage, guys I’m still at work, so I can’t post anything specific just yet, but in case it will turn out dark and grim and I will be forced to buy a new machine, I have one more question at this moment.

I could apparently afford something better than what I posted above. Unfortunately, I’m limited to laptops atm. So, I’d like to ask: if it won’t be possible to repair that PC, would something like this be any good? :

And two graphic cards (is it even possible? apparently one is supposed to work for basic things, the other one for games): Intel® HD Graphics and ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200

My computer just broke and I don’t have enough money to buy a new and shiny one.
The only thing I could really afford right now is a laptop HP 6910p
Intel Core 2 Duo 2,2Ghz
RAM: 2048 MB DDR2
graphic card: Intel 965GM 384MB
Windows 7

I’m wondering if I’ll be able to play GW2 on something like that. I don’t really know much about computers >_>
