It was meant to be constructive feedback. I did not word it in a way to sound condescending or ill-spirited. Myself and the others that came over with me all came to the exact same conclusions and had the same observations. The facts remain that you cannot hope to succeed in matches where you don’t have a massive numerical superiority to rely on if you don’t work on the basics. You have to upgrade towers, you have to siege them up, you have to improve response times, and you have to be able to respond to threats at multiple locations with appropriate numbers…..

I’m not offended… Well maybe a little bit.
Still want to how long you and your guys have been on our server. One week? One Month?

Just wondering how much time you have spent with us to form your fact…er opinion.

I’m slightly ashamed to admit this but I will be honest and admit that I recently transferred from NSP to HoD. I will be the first to also admit that this was a mistake and plan on going back to NSP at this end of this first week. However, I do have, in my opinion, some unbiased observations about HoD and for that matter FC after facing them on NSP and now on HoD.

First I will say that HoD has a lot of people. Way better numbers than what I ever saw on NSP and could rival most Silver League servers, at least in NA primetime. However, what they do with those numbers and how they utilize them is not that impressive. In EB it essentially equates to one massive zerg that runs around from one tower to the next. They don’t really upgrade towers, remotely even come close to laying siege effectively, slow response times, and a real lack of reacting to threats at two locations at once….even when they have the numbers to do so. They are currently relying on a massive numerical advantage but against any server in Silver League they would get destroyed.

I’m sure they won’t want to hear that but it’s the truth. They do have the potential to move up but they need to improve in those other areas in order to succeed. Even if they don’t need to do those things right now to win it would, at the very least, be good practice. The community seems good, people are nice enough, they have great numbers….but that stuff won’t be enough against Silver ranked servers. You have a much larger population than NSP and probably IoJ but I’d put money on either one of those servers beating you….and anyone above that wouldn’t even be close.

And how would you suggest doing this? MF is the only way to “make” them. 5% Chance at a doubloon with pebbles, which are going up in price as well. 1s 40c last I checked.
12g for 4 stacks and rising, averaging 8 doubloons per 1k pebbles.

Not to mention the hours of clicking…

I really enjoy the content and appreciate your hard work. The content is hard as hell, but its been a face-melting good time.

The only issues I have had are lag/latency not sure how much can be done about that though.

We cannot change creation dates on characters. We do not change creation dates on characters. As far as I know there are no issues with character creation dates, only with player memories about when the character was actually created. For instance they might say, “I created Fred on Day 1. But I decided I liked Frederica better.” What they forget is that they deleted Fred and made Frederica two weeks afterwards, meaning that Frederica’s creation date is not, and cannot be, the same as that originally held by Fred.

I cannot speak for your individual situation, Nalora, and I do sympathize with your confusion. However, we really don’t fiddle with dates — we don’t even have the tools to do it (upon request or otherwise). You are welcome to contact Support by filing a ticket through the “Ask a Question” tab on that linked page but I am unsure that they will be able to assist you in this case, when the record keeping is, to my understanding, without issues or errors.

A guildie of mine was banned for a first time naming offense and quickly reinstated as he was given no warning/changed name. When he logged back in he received a Hero’s Chest or something like that.

While trying to figure out why he was rewarded for bad behavior he discovered with /age that his character was now only 4 hours old.

Don’t know if /age is based on creation date but this date seems to have been fiddled with somehow. Unless he deleted his character and leveled to 80 in record time.

How is this possible?

Superior Sigil of Bloodlust gives you +10 Power for every kill.. (max 25 stacks)

Yeah, well I think his post is relevant since there are so many sigils that aren’t simple stat increases (and even the ones you just posted require you to kill mobs without getting downed).

I wouldn’t worry too much about it though. I would guess that we would keep sigils as well as have infusion slots added on top since there is such a variety of sigils (legendary crafting even requires a sigil).

I would, however, like to question if 2H weapons will get 2 infusion slots/2x the benefit from the slot since this provides a slight agony resistance advantage for dual wielding.

That is a great question. I’d also like to know if my 2Hander is gonna get the short end.

Honestly why didn’t you spend a bit more time on creating all weapon skins and release it later? You didn’t announce this, has very little to do with April fools and no one would mind if you released it later..

I don’t mind there not being a hammer/pistol/rifle/dagger skin….yet (I’m a hammer guardian myself). But you do have a point I think.

You know games used to charge $15 a mo. for content like this. Another 30 for add-ons.

People think a one time payment of $50 bucks gives them the right to complain forever. Be grateful they have released as much content as they have.

Not to negate that they still need to fix some things, but come on……really?

This is quite the wishful thinking. It’s less of “infighting” and more of laugh at the “town idiot.” It’s quite the unanimous opinion of the server, and the person already said that they would transfer if free transfers were to ever come back up. But since they likely won’t, we have to find some amusement in him being here.

If Anths is 18 he REALLY needs to stop smoking….Regardless, I like this idea, but I think he should only be able to take pugs. Preferably lvl 50 or less. He needs a good challenge.

And Why did PAXA leave NSP?

2 reasons. It’s simple NSP has the pvp base we are mostly looking for in enemies. 2-3 mans/ 5 mans every night other than the stereotypical [ALS/Os] Zerg of 30. When we played BP and AR all those “skill bases” knew how to do was follow follow follow behind blue doritos. Very litttle challenge other than not dying to 30 that can tend to be challenging. HoD and GoM were smaller pvp population and NSP wasn’t going anywhere so thougt it would be a good idea to fight more of our style against the small mans of NSP. Turned out to be one of our better Moves as far as quality of fights have gone.

Second reason was to be able to mess up some people who talk a lot of server wide pride and their success on the forums but lack individual talent for the most part… Very very similar to [ALS], [BURN], ect. Ect. Ect.

Why 2-3-5 man in WvW when you can do small scale in PvP? I thought WvW was meant for large scale battles.

I know that a lot of folks from [TOT] Traveler’s of Tyria – HOD, have taken a break from WvW to focus on some PvE content for a bit. Kruppe (our commander almost has his legendary finished so we should have our small 15-20 man contribution back on the HOD front a couple nights a week soon.
