Whenever i click on any toon on the character select screen the screen goes to a loading screen then shuts down. Only happened after this patch. Send help….

Read all of this and you guys seem like a blast xD. I will be sending a PM soon. I mainly run high lvl fractals (lvl 83 so far) and trying to get in a good raid group. I have a chrono ascended zerk and I can tank.

I’m interested in both raids and pvp (also high lvl fractals).
I run Chrono mostly in raids, zerk or tank. I’ve beaten VG with a pug group and tanked for Gor (no win). In pvp I can run a couple of classes leaning more towards chrono and necro and I’m willing to learn others.

Do you run high lvl fractals and have organized raid team?

I am loving the chronomancer so far (mainly because it fixes a lot of issues the mesmer had in the first place). My problem still is phantasms, especially the iavenger. The main problem is the instant death of phantasms.

While fighting the red wyvern you cant get close to the it at all and all illusions just die. Mesmer’s should not be babysitting class (especially when you see your “babies” explode lol). I mainly play pve and in it the extreme shutdown of illusions in the new content makes me worried about how mesmers will be treated (like necro and ranger in fractals). Truly i don’t know how to fix this issues without people calling it op

The iavenger specifically is an annoying because it is so unreliable. My idea is split defensive phantasms from offensive phantasms. defensive phantasms should be not be linked to targets but linked to the caster. The idefender, ienchanter and the iavenger need to be linked to the caster and follow the player around. Kasmeer’s phantasms are not linked to targets but to her. So why can’t ours?

How to fix the phantasm lifespan issue? Again, no clue.

I just got hacked last night from 2 am central to 10 am central. They stole and salvaged everything that wasn’t bound to my account. Its so depressing seeing my account like this. I don’t get how they are doing this!

Ok good its not just me! It looks so ugly. I hope this is being fixed…. cause then doing all the work to get these armor pieces is pointless.

So I know there are a lot of updates coming the Anet is probably very busy with those but I just had a random idea and i wanted to share. What if guilds could claim sections of land in pve? Guilds could set up friendly battle royales but they can bet land and get rewards for winning. The guild who own the land could get boosts to crafting, harvesting or loot drops in the area as well and this would bring more interest to lower levels. Dynamic events could set from you gaining or keeping land for your guild also.

What are some things you guys would fix or add to this idea?

Of course its not a complete plan, especially in terms of balancing and such. (if someone else has suggested this, I apologize in advance XD)

My main is a Syvari so i met Trahearne in a early mission but the odd thing is that you spend many more missions and talk of destiny’s edge and those characters. Then you join an order and then destiny’s edge disappears. I still enjoyed this part of the story cause I got to meet Tybalt but then you kill him off and boom trahearne is the main character, all hail trahearne. Whenever the story actually refers back to my previous story choices, that is when i enjoy it the most. example would be when I’m fighting the eye of Zyhaithan (sp?) he actually says something soon you’ll meet your friend Tybalt. And that was amazing, it made me angry and more encouraged to kill the eye.

Trahearne isn’t developed to be a main character. He has no complexity nothing seems tough for him. when it is he just shoves the question onto you for you to figure it out. What kind of leader is that??

Anet you developed such a good foundation in the pre 50 level missions but then threw all of that out the window and introduced something from out of no where. That in my opinion is just bad story telling.

ps i still havent killed the dragon because no one can open the stupid door to get to the dungeon!

I’ve been trying to get to the orr dungeon and finally finish my story but no one is there to help or people just say its bugged and don’t try. I’m in emhry bay. Is the gate bugged or no? Maybe I just don’t understand how to open it….

Is it just me or weren’t many of us expecting a major fix/creation of a lfg/queuing system for dungeons? Its baffling how it is still not incorporated into gw2 because LA is a mess and takes too long to set anything up…..

I tried buying things off the trading post but it just took my money and didnt give me an item. so i lost 5 gold thinking i would be getting the items that i wanted but got nothing… What do i do???

I just really want (and I dont know if its possible) is for Anet to release one giant patch that fixes the mesmer (or any class for that matter) to how Anet wants them to be. I know it would probably take a while but any word that lets us know that one day the mesmer will be perfected (traits that work, skills that work, better grandmaster traits, and trait positions that just make more sense) would be sooo much appreciated.

I’ve been playing PvP for a little and learned that it is completely separate from pve. That makes it very discouraging for new people to come into it in my opinion. Wvw rewards players for joining in with loot/gold/badges etc and PvP could easily use a reward system outside of pvp itself. Of course it would need to be balanced and what not. How could Anet incorporate a reward system to pvp that effects pve and not be economy breaking is the question? Or should it stay the way it is?

My suggestion would be gaining bags of money that rank up to how well you do.

Ps. I’ve only done hot join matches so idk if tournaments are different.
