I have no idea who are you to talk for CD and you’re talking as you know how we are and what our plays are like , you can talk from your server prespective which i don’t really care for because there are totally different from each other..where our wvw guilds are oriented on being openfield/gvg guilds and yet have balance between that and PPT but it gets boring when you face server that actually don’t fight.

P.S pvf forums pls respond to my gvg request, i saw someone’s post say TC/PAL/TUNE gvg ?..been over 6 weeks and didnt get 1 gvg out of YB lol

From your post i take it that i know nothing about your server’s playstyle while you seem to know ours.

It takes an expert to know how YB plays ? even the servers that haven’t faced YB knows how they play+ you won the most annoying server to face vote with a pretty good lead lol …just go man an AC , stop posting.

The people talking about pushing were not the commanders. Most commanders realized that going gold meant getting rolled for 4 weeks and losing most of our casual players after week 1(which is a significant portion of our server). It was the random players who thought “Crystal Desert will has what it takes to overcome an epic Challenge!” that were posting about going gold.

Friend, I’m just quoting the many YB from the PvF forums who said they have no desire whatsoever to go to Gold. And citing the fact that many within FA and SoS have stated that YB’s bunker play style is not welcome in T2, myself included.

YB is still a very bunker / ppt oriented server, perhaps more so than any other server on the ladder, but they do have some guilds that come out and fight. I have no idea what’s been going on with SoS’s seemingly daily 600+ overnight tick, but maybe a bunker server is what’s needed to stop the PvD express.

Not that I would selfishly want YB out of our tier area or anything.

We don’t have enough number of people online during OCX to hold against 20 times our number no matter how much siege we use. Unless we receive HUGE (Yes, huge) number of guilds, its impossible for us to be in T2. Hell, we are probably the least populated T3 server.

As of now, I don’t think any of the T3 servers (including CD) want to go to Gold. At least from CD’s posts on the forums, it seems they’ve also decided to take it easy this week.

If Anet manually intervenes, one of the T3 servers will field a lot of angry complaints.

- communication and always willing to improve and get some fresh ideas/strats.
- Fun and laid back gamers , we consider ourself to be more of a family than just a team.

Hello Agent, as a recommendation I wouldn’t chose HoD. I am on DR and we just had 2 roaming groups move to our server from HoD because of the lack of roaming. Nothing against HoD or upper tiers but you see a lot more roaming fun T5-T7. If you want all the info you can message me here or in game.

Would like to know which roaming groups moved so we can better plan for the future, if you could! I’ve known NA was going away for a while (didn’t exactly treat us nicely while they were here) but who else joined from HoD? I wouldn’t be so quick to discount us being on a server that we haven’t faced in half a year (DR) but to a point I do agree that we have some nasty blobs.

I am on HoD (from ASTC) and we do have many small man roaming groups. I just don’t want to include any in case one left for DR! I head out with a group between 1 and 10 every day and night and I have a blast every time.

FA has [WS], and that’s about it. Otherwise pretty blobby. Big props to Kruegs’ guys for small-manning it and risking getting zerged, just as we do.

SBI’s best roamers (as Kruegs mentioned before) are from BAEST and Abys. I have gotten to know quite a few of them through our fights together- they are good fighters, and even better people.

YB roaming- just euuuuugh. For the most part either they blob, hide behind their siege, or run. I have met a few good players from YB though!

CD’s best roaming group is [TKVA], they’re very talented, though extremely poor sports (e.g. whispering trashtalk, and they have a notorious forum troll and HoD hater who, appropriately, has appeared in this thread!)

NSP has the real elite roamers imo- tM/Holy and many more. They’re a very good choice if you’re looking to roam.

So based on these definitive descriptions of each server, does the op want to roam with the best and curb stomp everyone? or fight against the best and get better at the game?

The fact that you didnt deny that YB description it makes me wonder if YB will come outto fight at all however gl to your decision and the needed deep research so you dont have to transfer again

Most silver league servers will do that for the first few weeks.
What’s HoD’s OCX/SEA/Euro like compared to their competitors?
And does HoD have the organization/experience in fighting upper tiers guilds and servers? The whole HoD scenario screams trainwreck when leagues end.
I have no doubt HoD should be able to finish in the top 3 in silver with their population… the fun will be watching what happens when seasons end and they’re up against t3 servers full time, maybe even t2 servers.
Although I guess if there’s no repair cost anymore, I guess it won’t be quite as frustrating getting constantly run over by organized servers

Their unlucky that probably the most hated/unwanted guild in NA happened to have transferred to their server.

Well Daeronz with the amount of hate we get from you guys on the official forums, the matchup forums, and CD’s forum its hard to tell whos who anymore. I even heard you guys have an obsession with us on your Teamspeak. We don’t really care what others think of us we play this game to have fun you all have some personal vendetta against us and have manipulated others into thinking we are a bad group of players.

Done with PvF tournament will decide who is the better players so good luck to you Daeronz and all of CD. Though you don’t deserve my respect you still have it I really can’t wait for some grudges to be settled and this whole thing put to rest.

Jumping on the praising CD bandwagon: I’m fairly new to GW2 and WvW, but maps get queued super rarely, and the community+commanders in both WvW and PvE have seemed really nice+accepting of players who’re new+learning, almost down to a player. (I think one person has been rude in like a month and a lot of hours logged? I haven’t seen that /anywhere/, but I don’t have lots of GW2 experience.)

And some commanders in particular are great at getting non-guild, normal zerg groups to wipe groups twice as large through superior tactics+timing+movement. Not every commander manages that, but there are ones who do, and running with them is awesome.

By all of that, I mean: please join HoD so that we can get your bags.

-Our NA should be fine with the last guild that might be coming. Just a few roamer guilds during NA should suffice. Any guild bigger than 30 looking to join please contact us first, we don’t want a 3map queue like HOD for NA.

-looking for a 15-30man late NA/oceanic group to round us out. Seems we are still sparse on commanders here. Or even a couple roaming guilds that run this late that can tag up and hold things down. Can contact gyps for oceanics mainly or myself if late NA.

Then perhaps you should re-read the thread, it has been pointed out That AR has some Oceanic coverage, ET has large coverage, HoD has coverage, DR has coverage, SBI has coverage, CD has coverage, GoM has coverage.

No it is not normal to try and poach from the lower tiers. As said, blame the guild throwing your server’s name around not the people who are upset by it, your just confirming the mindset of CD. I realize its hard for some who have never hit the bottom ranks and had to rebuild to understand why this is not looked upon kindly.

Anyone who has been in the position of the low ranked servers would probably understand why we do not appreciate these actions, and wouldn’t wish it upon anyone. I’m not just speaking on behalf of AR, I’m pretty sure none of the ranks 20-24 would appreciate people trying to take away what little we have, but they can disagree if they see fit. That’s my rant I hope it makes it a little easier to understand the hostility.

All the server’s listed have at one point posted here that they have some form of Oceanic coverage.

Lol , as we been saying the past month , this is the closest that CD can be and now its even closer than a year ago in t2 believe it or not ,it doesnt matter for you but the server matters kitten ton to us , …even T1 is not safe of toxiety (god bless sor and the other old tier1s) but it can be cured and cured , so please , dont make assumptions, take care.

With season 2 announced and the way server transferring is being handled, I was wondering how many servers are actually losing there WvW guilds?

My friends on Crystal Desert are telling me that there main WvW guild KoME is actually leaving the server, even though they have been there since beta. Rumors are that they are going to HoD, due to the CD community and drama on the server.

Any other servers experiencing this?

Good fights I guess, EBay still better skill wise, all HoD is so far is coverage which is why they dominate bronze.

We would’ve been there to crush our enemies sooner if it wasn’t qued. But once we got in we crushed our enemies and watched them flee before us, listening to the lamentations of their….oh, well we crushed them.

Well this is kinda late but I hope ur not talking about cd bl , because if that was queued , you didnt do a really good job taking any keeps (HoD) , for atleast 4 hours after reset , then we logged off.

On unusual note , I was expecting a visit from MU/Mend ..like every reset, we even had the tea party table ready , sad sad night
