Just a little update:

I found one youtube link with the full story mode of the dungeons (unless i’m missing one:P) start on the AC and the the video desc you get a link in order of the other ones. Thanks to the creator.

Hey Guys,

Is there a good site that has all the dungeon cinematics (story + exp) all videos one would normally watch while doing each dungeon?

I found my self having to skip them all, and having completed most dungeons already I don’t really see my self finding a group to do them all and each patch and getting them to sit as i watch them all so I was hoping there would be a place I could just watch them at leisure to “catch up” on their story.

still a problem, add to it “cursed shores” just started and the almost instant respawn around any event is making it almost impossible to do the zone without multiple deaths (unneeded ones). why are there no investigations and fixed done to this yet? it’s been several weeks since reported???

I had the same issue, but i logged and redid it (causing the quest to reset) .. it was some junk blue item.

Not sure where to report this, but as I attempt to clear the map in malcor’s leap i run into massive amounts of teleporting people doing poi’s nodes or vistas, yet they warp in and out so quickly I have no time to select them and report them and I have no good idea how to report them other wise. I’m sure if you look at the logs for that server and that zone for the last 2 days you can catch and ban about 10~ + people at LEAST. I play in 1/2 hour play slots as I don’t got much time but i’ll run into 1-3 people doing it at least every time slot i play in.

Ranger Pet Names Keep Resetting!

its a known issue (check ranger forum). They only save PER pet per slot, meaning if you change a pet in say slot 1 then the name resets for slot one. Pet names are not saved per pet… its something that we been trying to get fixed since beta ><

Still a problem, further more it affects several other parts of the zone:

malcors leap: event chain to take over all the camps, will break at camp 3 with camp one being lost already by the time you lead the trops to camp 3 (which of course should never happen).

quest line to kill lyssa (group events) seal 1/2/3 will break before you can take over all 3 seals, if you bring more people the event scales up so hard that while beeing lvl 77 you will get lvl 81 vets that take 20 people 5 minutes to kill (and theres 20 of them).

had an issue like that on my guild.. after re-logging (or was it the next day) the upgrade was back in the queue being worked on.. looked like it was just some out of sync thing before the maintenance). but ya if it does not come back then make a ticket, so they can restore it.

this is even worse in malcors leap .. to clear the FIRST event chain “pact troops, move out” i take about 1 hour of work and say 5-10 deaths, no one is around on the map no one to help and i have to deal with 4 rootmouths which respawn so fast i don’t even have the time to kill the vet’s they spawn most of the time, without counting the 2 towers that get almost insta fixed by constant spawning servants

from what i can see at least in these two zones the spawn timer is soo broken. only thing i can think of is bots that are prob invis around the area or just porting around farming nodes which some how get worked in to the respawn timers.. i get it its one of the top lvl zones (not even a lvl 80 only) but on a non pop or almost no pop map the respawn should be MUCH better tuned.

I can confirm this is an issue on my server “fissure of woe” in straits of devastation map but I’ve seen it in several other 60+ maps. Due to low population (I’ve seen a total of 1 person on this map and almost every mob i kill had huge xp bonus due to long time it’s been up).. the re-spawn behaves as if there’s a lot of people around.. clearing one “nest” of mobs next to a vista/skill challenge will cause them to re-spawn within 1 minute even less at times, causing the whole affair to be almost impossible..

I have report this IG but since nothing has changed in the last 2 weeks I figured id report it here too, it seams like either these zones do NOT use an adaptive re-spawn rate or its just set as wayyyy to high.

- on the same note, might be nice to see if champ mobs could be scaled down if no one is around and no one does them after “x” time, as i’ve often found my self blocked and not able to rile up any one due to almost on one on the map to take down mobs like this blocking vistas/etc (going for full world map clearing).

Is it just me or do undead (Risen) mobs almost always avoid pets and go strait for you?is this a bug or intended to make rangers life hell?

while even higher lvl or champs/vets of any other kind of mob if done correctly almost always sticks to my pets (unless i do some crazy burst) I can’t figure out the trick to get risen mobs to stick to my pet and not me ><

i had though bandits where all of a sudden crazy.. pulled pet tank~ fought one within few hits he was at 20% hp with so many bleeds on him from one guy .. was . crazy.

well thats promesing, maybe they just really restricted their update servers due to cut backs or something recently. its been 3 days the update server is slow and i guess today its just overwhelmed. il keep trying hopefully iget a bit of game time in before its bed for work time :P

Do you remember ArenaNet saying: “The game will be released when it’s ready”?
Sadly, doesn’t seem so…

it’s hard to not be cynical i was in beta, and while not many had my point of view 9 days to test a full game is horribly short :P thus .. voila lots of problems i had made a huge post about making the beta last longer and or opening it up to full time for all beta tests not just their internal team.. but got kind of shot down by them and a lot of testers, yet launch and 2+ months later shows they should have.. not that i’m not having fun but theres a tun of really basic problems still.

add me to the list, same problem been going on for about 3 days now.. some times, after trying 3-4 times or waiting 20 minutes i can get the launcher to let me login, otherwise it just sits at 0k

just in case using google DNS (this was a problem back in beta once so i might as well mention it)

it’s been pretty bad today for me.. and the login server (or update server) has been unresponsive more and more making even starting the launcher a pain in the last 3 days

same.. at least today horrible lag, did a pingtest (using pingtest.net) any where close to me or even US servers gave me a grade a network with no loss packets nor jittering. it’s got to be server side (or at least from italy to you :P)

Still having this bug, Happened 3 times so far in the last 3 days. Almost every time I want to start the game.. i have to go through 10-30 minutes of “trying” to get it to clean that updating mesg before it actually lets me login to the launcher.

Any one else having this? any idea how to fix it. its getting me pretty annoyed to even start the game ;(

i’m almost certain its your Video Card overheating (and or vram (video ram) ) damage. A laptop is a bad machine to play on, specially really cheap ones like HP/DELL etc ..

Clean out your fans, keep the laptop raised to it can breath better and see if it improves. (also use a prob like gpuz to see the head on your video card and let us know (while in game of course)

2 days ago I was playing just fine, been extramly busy recently so I didn’t get to try it till late last night, at witch point it stuck as the tread title suggests.

I then gave up (it was late) and today (right now) I get the same thing. after say 5 mins or so it gives out a red error that it could not connect.

I do use google DNS (8.8.8.8 etc) witch i remember was a problem during beta but has not been since then… any news? I think i saw an other thread saying something like this earlier today.. updates pls?

22/11/12 – still bugged. I noticed the wiki has been updated with this (longbow and short bow) do not consistently apply opening strike.. but i would like to know if it’s on the next round of bug fixes or planed? it’s a nice feature of our trait line.. sucks it does not work with out ranged weps =P

I just unlocked this trait, it should in theory apply 5 stacks of vulnerability on the first attack (every time the passive buff is up).

In the last 30 minutes, I’ve had it work say 5 times.. one out of 10 times i attack with the passive it applied the stacks BUT 10 out of 10 it removes the buff. I think its just not applying them correctly even though it does think its “procted”.

I’m using the 1 skill on a short bow to test the above, random mobs around the starting area for the charr.
