I’m actually 13/15 and no need of grinding, just playing with guild mates.
Of course I expect something better in the Season Chest than the junk in the WvW Achievement chest.

Badges, wxp tonics, greens are a very poor loot. I hope the season Chest is not just a large Achievement chest…

Same problem to me, it seems the patch did not work.
6/5 achievement, and still no chest. After the daily camp capturer completed (5/5) nothing happened.
Took several waypoints, nothing.

I also pm’d to all the people who contacted me, but I want make public our decision.
This week about 15 Nazguls transferred to Gandara and joined the Insert Coin [IC] guild. We made this choice as a group, and we had to choose because the wvw on RoF did not satisfy us any more.
The majority of Nazguls are still in RoF and some of them still. play a casual wvw.
I want personally thanks all commanders and Gm who contacted us and offered us a new home. We will miss RoF, as we spent months by your side since launch and we known many people from many nations.

I think the League start will see a lot of people migrate, like before every single match up update. We will see more people in the lowest league rank than we expect. We are aware of this.

Hule, you are almost 100% right. The obvious exception to point 3) are Nemesys and XxX

We always hope to raise player level here, as said, we are evaluating all the options and transfer is one of many.

For point 5) we have a lot of friends in rof, they all will be missed, but yeah, we also NEVER stop hunting you (check videos ;p)

Atm we are just considering variuos options to raise the quality of our wvw experience. Transfer is only an option amongs others, but I’d like to know better

I really hope that league system will cntribute to settle things, but I’m not too optimistic.

For clarity, If we’ll move, I think a number between 6 to 10 players will move. Not the whole guild, just a few WvW lover.

btw: I saw XxX videos. I liked a lot the “once we were noobs” slogan!

Very few decent fights. FR 9 times on 10 just flee if they are not 3 times the enemies.
When they blob just pvd and of course, they easy win.
Blaming not players, but matchup system. RoF simply does not have the numbers to combat. On equal number or even in some 2:1 fights, we can manage them.

But my idea of fun is different.

We are not hardcore gamers, we play mostly after dinner 4 or 5 hours on daily basis, we like wvw but sometimes we enjoy a fractal, a dungeon or anything else the game offer to make some extra gold (maybe excluded the living story, but that’s OT :P ).

Lately we have some serious trouble to play wvw at a higher level, due to lack of players and lack of will, so we are considering moving on.
We are of course available to transfer, we have commanders but we will be fine to follow, we are looking for a game style above the casual and below the hardcore. We are available to discuss builds, to change it in relation to the rest of the guild.
We are looking for a smart played wvw, for fights and for points, with at least 15 people every day. We use Team Speak.
On a side note: we used to do GvGs.

We also take our time: we set the beginning of the League season as deadline to decide if transfer, to where and finally find an italian guild that looks for skilled players whom we are.
This post is mostly to have a clear sight of the situation outside Ring of Fire.

So, if you are in a position to make decisions for your guild, and you feel interested by having such a bunch of players in your team in the near future, post your reply!

You’re right, but the whole system is “isolated”: you do fractals in order to be able to do more difficult fractals, so beside rings and backs, salvaging those drops would remain in the same close system. Could also be a motivation to continue playing fractals.

I agree. Have a lot of useless rings wasting space in my bank. What about let people salvaging them? They could split in fractal relics or tokens, in order to help players buy items with more useful stats, mystic essence or luck or new crafting materials . What about throw them in the mystic forge? For a chance of ascended accessory maybe.
Going slightly ot, let pristine relics buy something else: it is a dead end doing fractals when you already have right set of rings.

I like the idea, as usual the facts are disappointing.

From a full equipment, now I have a 20% base. I think it’s not enough. The idea of letting people choose stat is great, but not useful enough to “repair” for MF loss.

I feel I’ll never reach again the 300% MF, it’s such a long way.

I understand that such a change in game mechanics is huge and require a lot of work, and 20% is better than nothing, but this rewar is not even close to a satisfying refund.

My thought: another grind/sink to make prices rise. I understand they make real money on gems, but this changes “ad hoc” every couple of week are a joke.

These colors are brighter (more visible?) and extremely annoying.
Red and Blue in particular are too bright and too saturated.
As result the minimap burns eyes.
The blue icons and tags on npcs are easily mistaked with party members’, because they are almost the same.
I felt my eyes tired after a few half an hour of WvW, and I ask for a rollback to previous colors or a change to a softer scheme.
Pastel colors are better than fluo ones, no?

I believe they did it to be more color blind friendly. If so, leave it.

making green, red an blue server colors is a funny choice, thinking of color blind players.

a new scheme or an option, maybe is a solution!

An easy fix – add an option to change the brightness of them. I personally think they are horrible and to bright.

Right suggestion, I forgot!
Leaving an option in the settings, could advantage both players that prefer brighter colors (for various reasons) and the others.

So, we’ll have a 300%MF account bounded, instead of a single set? We’ll see that, I think they’ll revise the whole mechanism.

Meantime, with this little information I’d also like the idea of a straight refund in laurel/commendation for ascended trinkets and infusions.

On characther selection, all pgs belongs to the guild, but tag is empty “The Nazgul []”.
In guild panel, I’m the only player (1/1). Guild chat confirm that fact.
0 merits, no digit or sometimes 0 influence.
Upgrades in progress working, but all the upgrades done so far are missing, included the ones needed for that still in progress.
Tried to stand down and represent again, nothing changed.

Seems all guildmates have same issue.

Same problem for my first guild “The Black Lotus [tBL]” but not for “The Ring of Fire War Council” [RFC].
