In EB we were a very few ppl, I saw you (FS) with golems coming to the watergate of our keep, asked help, but I was alone against you at the gate and then died… xD
And then in the inner gate we were 4 ppl… later some ppl came so with a group with 10 ppl we defended Langor (our last tower) with all our best for I don’t know how much time and tried to take back our keep. We fought for a long time, but we succeeded to take back our keep and it was 3;15… argh!! But that was awesome!!

Unfortunately FS wasn’t the only server affected by this problem… so it can be “fair”, after all… and in any case this isn’t GH fault.

The 60ppl zergs svarty is referring to are very rare, might happen in the short timespan we have a lot of guild events at once, but even then have i not seen a 60ppl zerg.
30-40 as you say is a better estimate.
And we don’t always run with such zergs.

Honestly all i see here is people trying to make themselves look better than they are.
Either trough boasting they held off superior numbers, or trough blaming the loss to a bigger enemy zerg.
Just because you fight against superior numbers it does not automatically make you better players. Our servers are all pretty much on the same level, sometimes we win sometimes we loose, sometimes we do stupid things and have big fails, it’s part of the game.

Besides, don’t complain too much about our numbers, everyone in T4 and above has way more than us and more hardcore wvw guilds, so be glad you have us here instead of Aurora, Riverside or Baruch bay.

Numbers… it’s a fact but it isn’t a problem, we have to fight at our best and that’s all, I haven’t complained about it.

And your point about how someone write to look better than he is, it is true about many ppl in wvw discussions, GH, FS, and so on… honestly I think only AM didn’t do that. But in this thread there wasn’t such a post, except for two ppl, but ok that happens.

Seriously, I don’t know, but it was fun and we did our best… lost it only first time, took it back and then didn’t lose any other time, but it was really difficult! And in the first attack, when we lost it, there were 6 trebs on the hill hitting the wall… it was crazy! xD

I want to greet my new FS friend… I don’t know who he is, but we’ve exchanged some emotes when we met alone in EB and I was laughing, it was funny. See you again!!!

I don’t know when you usually play, maybe after 4 am? Because during the day and in the primetime we’re usually outnumbered from both enemies, so sometimes it happens to you… xD
We usually fight a few against many, and we often succeed to defend or conquer, despite we’re less… so I understand the reason because of you feel so happy and satisfied, it happens to me too… have fun!! xD

Yeah was a nice match although we may finish 3rd. It’s quite hard to compete against international servers cause they can make a lot of points between 7am and 3pm because most of us are at school or work. It’s not your “fault” but it still makes a difference compared to a match against another german server:/. Well, we’ll see how it will turn out in the next match.

This match was great and you fought very well… yes, it seems today AM had a low presence in game… but thanks for the match, it was fun and I understand you, I’m in a country with the “same hours” than yours!

Seriously guys… you need to play an ele before complaining in such a way… it isn’t so easy and we can’t do high damage… we’ve the lowest hp and th, so we have to put on some defense using armor and traits. We can heal and use attunements, but to do this, we have to put aside the damage, so we do very low damage. I think most of you simply have to complain about everything that doesn’t like, because you want win easily and to be op and when that doesn’t happen, argh!! Here it is the complaining!!

@maloki: Yeah, this has been shown in different situations… but it isn’t a matter, we’re strong and I love our server… so keep on fight and do our best Gunnars!!! xD

I don’t think there’s an alliance, simply we can’t face both enemies at the same time in different places… enemies do that because it’s their strategy to win and get points. We’re less in number, but despite that we fight and often win, and we’re having very fun and good fights… so thanks to FS and AM and especially to two thief that I often meet around EB!!! I can’t win against thieves!!! xD

PS: Last night when I logged in, I saw all our EB blue… argh!! We took back our towers and camps… but what a hard work sometimes!! xD

Last night was crazy!! I’ve to say that was the best night fights for me, it was very fun… yeah, we were attacked from both enemies at the same time in different places and sometimes the same place seconds later it was defended from one… it was crazy and a little frustrating sometimes, because our numbers didn’t match both yours togheter and it was very hard to defend… but we were great, we did our best and we succeded somehow… for example we defended Ogre with our best, many of FS, three cata (one superior cata) on the hill with the ogres, wall down… but we succeded and keep it our! We fought for Golanta in the middle, there was FS on one side and behind AM, and we didn’t lose and pushed both… so very very funny fights!!
Later you began to attack our BL, so many of ours changed map and I went to bed… too late!!! xD

Ok, maybe with both against us at the same moment it’s too hard and we can’t defend all, but we can do great fights and often win… so have fun guys!

I think that we are all the same, both males and females… and I don’t see special treatments for us, or you write it only for this thread? Yep, there’s a thread about female WvWers, probably written out of curiosity by a person… so?
I play without thinking about genders, but I often see that there are many males pointing differences, asking if it’s possible for a female play a game… and writing many sarcastic phrases about cooking and ironing and others arguments very interesting… so maybe this thread is born for these reasons, because we often feel differents when other know we’re females… but this doesn’t happen with all the males, fortunately.

Are you talking about FSP or GH ? Because i`m playing on FSP and last i checked FSP was second in this matchup and still doing pretty well, considering the odds (you know, like the fact that AG can outman us in almost every map and that we all know that AG does not really belong in this tier).

I actually think FSP are a good match for us AG, atm we are leading yes, but there are enough decent fights, and servers are able to push and take down upgraded towers from each other. GH just seems to be low on numbers compared to us two servers so it’s also effecting the dynamics, things might change to better or worse now weekend is over, we’ll have to see.

I don’t want to answer about past questions or discussions, I want to discuss about this week.
I think that both FS and AG are very good at organisation, communication and fighting. In the last week we fought and lost at the very end, this is a game and FS was better than us, so it’s right and I’ve had fun, it was amusing.
This week we can’t win… also Oren told this: we’ve outnumbered. We aren’t perfect, we can make mistakes, as for organisation and communication, it’s ok… but now the fact that everywhere we go we’re outnumbered is a reality, we’ve the little icon that says “outmanned”. During this night we had this icon both with AG and FS, so don’t talk if you don’t know it or if you talk only for past matters.
We can’t win but we’ll fight at our best and we’ll have fun with ours possibilities… so this night we lost Bravost and Langor, with 5 ppl at the defence… but we kept the keep fighting at our best and then we took back the others…

Our enemies are great either in organisation and in numbers, and we accept this… have fun together!

awesome fight trying to defend bay against GH on GH BL just now i think we res lord about 4 times lol, there was literally a handful of us defending against a huge army of GH and i think we pulled together nicely and really held out as long as we could, great fight to be remembered

We had a tough time getting our guys to push in because they were obsessed with downing that lord you were ressing, gj.

definitely wasn’t evenly matched we were very few in numbers compared to urs, we knew we were gonna lose it when we seen u coming but we fought till the end and gathered our bags of loot even the post before original comment mentioned about how few we were lol

Anyhow great fight guys really enjoyed it even if u guys did kick my but across the floor sooo many times lol

I think things are different depending on the point of view… I was there and I think we were both matched with numbers, but ok, it’s the same.
We’ve hard time this few days, because it seems our ppl are less than before, I don’t know why… we need to concentrate on one map and call for help in another. You see numbers but ppl you see are almost all the players we’ve at the moment all together, it’s very difficult, but sure it’s fun.

Getting ridiculous with the majority of Thieves and Elementalists charging groups of 3-4 opponents without hesitation, because they know they can get out most of the time if things goes bad, with a good chance to down someone.

You don’t see Rangers, Necros, Mesmers and Engineers try that very often for a reason. Heck, even Warriors and Guardians usually prefer to leg it vs 3-4. >_>

Mobility, Defense OR Burst from Elementalist / Thieves needs to be adjusted to be on par with the others.

I’ve an ele and if I go fighting alone a group of 4 ppl, I’ll die for sure… I love my pg, but it’s one of the most difficult and also of the most amazing for this reason… ele is great for support, so to defend and to conquer with other ppl… 1v1 is great if you know how to use it… 1v2 same thing, it depends from the opponents… but alone with group of 3-4 ppl, bah… if they aren’t noobs…

And most of you talk about swirling… guys, swirling is a skill with a certain cool down… we can use it to defend treb, but we need 4 ele to do it, and a perfect coordination… defend walls is more difficult, because if the trebs hit different position, we need more ele than 4… so don’t compare with thief skill… we need often a group to do well.

We’ve aoe, yes… skills very useful for supporting our group in defending or attacking, but we need to switch weapon and when we use the staff to do it, if then we face a group of enemies without support, we’ll die for sure… we need d/d to fight in certain situation and it isn’t easy to switch weapon during fighting… so you need to try an ele to understand.

I don’t think Anet have to nerf thief… yes it’s difficult to face a thief, I know, yesterday I fought with one… but any pg has own charateristic, own strong points and weak points… so have fun with them and don’t try to nerf some pg only because it’s too strong for you!

At @ Maloki – that green half of your bordelands at prime time last night (for periods more than half of your borderlands). That was ours.

FSP had super bugged queues yesterday, we could not go over to FSP and defend, which is a “great excuse” it is both true and a good reason for us to have painted the rest of Gunnar’s map Blue.

However, I want us to remember and think back on, the maps were never designed for us to own the entire map, we have our “Own sections” and they used to be fought over a lot more when there were orbs around.

I’m very glad to harass in enemy borderlands, as long as we do not lose everything on own, and sometimes even then.

Gunnar’s some of you are worthy opponents, I will not argue that, but I feel sorry for most of you going up in higher tiers than you’ll be able to handle, and even if xaoc have a good presence it will not make up for the rest of your issues. They will get tired of carrying the server on their play hours.
Similar to what happened on Far Shiverpeaks on primetime. back in t1.

We haven’t alwasy had Xaoc, they’re transferred recently… so we usually fought without them and at a certain point we fell down from higher position and did our best to go up (and we did it before Xaoc)… so which will be the difference? We’ll do our best, we’ll enjoy fighting and when we’ll go down at lower tier than now, we’ll face the situation and have fun…

This match is great, we’ve fun and a lot of fight… so stop discuss of alliances between ms and fs or ms and gh… it’s nonsense, because there isn’t such a thing, we often fight with the two enemies at the same time and it’s happened also to fs and ms… so guys have fun.

Xoac for GH currently might still be great and fun for now but as soon as tiers balance out and Xoac will carry the points for GH to a higher tier where their primeforce will have trouble fighting the numbers of that tier, they will likely have less fun during that time then those that play in the morning , while we will be balanced in a tier where there’s less offpeak powerhouses, so overall i assume we in the end will have more fun once things balance out compared to GH , but ofc this is all assumption and for now the matchup currently is still relative balanced despite an offpeak powerhouse shifting things to their favour ^^

That’s already happened. We’re having … a challenge… at the moment in primetime, and our early morning guys are picking you to pieces because of your lack of coverage.

I’m agree with you. In primetime (when I usually play and there are very few members of Xaoc) there’s a lot of fighting, a real challenge to defend and conquer… sometimes we lose and other times we win and it’s fun. I think that it is the perfect tier for us, really balanced, and I’m saying this also without Xaoc… probably with tiers stronger thant this, it would be very trouble for us, but ok, it’s a game and a challenge and we’ll have fun to try our best. We’ll see, for now have fun!!!

@LionZero – Yeah, it was fortified and you guys had a good defence going. Sure, we could have brute forced the gate and perhaps wiped a few times, but it was the last point on the map and we weren’t in a hurry. We decided to use the opportunity to test some new treb positions, none really worked out, but it was still fun trying.

@Kaleygh – Our primetime team lacks the large organised guild groups that FSP and MS have, GH is mainly comprised of small 5 man or less guild groups. It may make us less efficient, but you know what? We don’t care, we have a great community, and we have fun (most of the time). If being uberleet breeds your level of arrogance, we don’t need, or want it.

Let`s be serious, you can`t really call groups like Xaoc “5 man or less guild groups”.
And sorry if i passed off as arrogant, but a group of 20 running away from 6, hiding in a tower and spamming emotes from the walls is kinda… meh
I`m happy that you guys are having fun, and sorry if i was rude in my original post, i guess most servers have a few bad elements, and hopefully people like that don`t represent the majority of GH.

Xaoc isn’t a 5 man group, but we aren’t only Xaoc and during the evening (I usually play from 22,00 to 2,00) all Xaoc members aren’t online… GH isn’t only Xaoc and we are very little group guild (my guild is about 10 people and I’m the only that usually play in WvW), but we manage to play and have fun and this night we’ve taken SM without Xaoc and we weren’t very much… so Xaoc is a great guild and very capable gamers, I like them and I’m happy that they’re with us, but GH isn’t only them…

I love play WvW and we are good people and good gamers and I like this week match, it’s very funny and we’re fighting every day… thanks to all the enemies!!! xD

PS: As for the “spamming emotes” thing… I see also many enemies doing that… I think bad guys are in every place, so it’s better be impartially…

Attended/Looted/No mail

I know a person that attended/no looted/got mail

And two persons that didn’t attend (but they were in the map and killed some mob, but not in the specific event) and got email

I did all the phases of the event and also the big event yesterday evening (in my country it was at 9 PM). I think there were a lot of problems with bug and lag… the first day was the worst and I had very difficult to play… so I can complain about this and about people that crashed at the end of the big event yesterday and didn’t got the chest… but complaining for the precursors loot… I don’t agree with it. I got the chest and I didn’t get the precursor… I played at GW2 since the beginning, my pg is 80, I’ve done all the phases and yesterday I played from 9 PM to the end (a lot of hours). I think yesterday was very fun, it was a great event… the chest gave me the usually drop, with 2 exotics and 2 rares… no precursors for me… so yes, I was unlucky and others was very lucky, that’s what the game is… I’m sad because I don’t have the precursor, but I’m happy because I liked the event.
So I’m agree to complain for the lag and bugs with days 1 and 2 and for people crashed yesterday at the end… but not for the loot…
