Nah, I agree on the part that it is nearly impossible for them to compensate everyone, sorry if you misunderstood me. I still think a compensation would be the best, but then who is to be compensated and how? You tell me.
fair enough. and true it would be hard with all the other stuff too. but I am sure they can figure something out.
I dont even need to be compensated right away. as long as I know its going to happen. if we have to put in a support ticket and it takes a month or two because of the other types of items. Fine with me as long as I know there will be some type of compensation.

I would bet the majority of the people that are against compensation are the ones scared they will lose the ability to skin legendaries. or are the ones exiceted to make quip, bolt or incinerator and then be able to have two skins. or only have 1 of quip bolt or incinerator.
Majority of people with two skins of one I am sure would have made a diff legendary if this was already in place.
There is nothing wrong for us to be compensated. If I knew about this I would have made bolt instead of second incinerator and I am sure the majority of the people complaining against compensation would feel the same if it happened to them.
I like the changes cause I have 1 quip and cant wait to spam 2 quips and annoy everyone. and was going to make 2 quips but not now.
I do have 2 incinerators and am upset cause i could have had a bolt instead of one. so I dont see how asking to be compensated is that big of a deal. they could do a lot of diff things like unbind so we can sell. allow us to pick a diff legendary. give us our mats back. give us the 3 major gifts and the precursor and mats back for the precursor gift.
non of that is going to hurt the person crying just deal with it. cause I would be the majority crying just deal with it would be wanting compensated if they were in the other situation.
Agree, although I do not think they should be compensated either. As you said you need to draw the line. If they got compenstated, then how about all those with mulitple T3 sets, jade weapons, Fused weapons, etc etc. Should they not be compensated to then? If you compensate one group, than you would have to do it for all to be fair.

Legendaries shouldnt be in wardrobe. Because;
- Legendary prices will sky fall.
- Everbody just will buy legendary then sell and then buy other till having all.
- Everybody will walk around with shinny skins. Moar clustering
- End game skins will be consist of just 9-10 skin.
pretty sure you have to have the item bound to get the skin so ummmmm yeah thats not going to happen.
would rather this stay the same and keep repair costs.
Hi, I am a dual incinerators owner myself and I came up with an example that might help the opposing view see why some people such as myself feel bumped out by this change.
Suppose there is a Player A and a Player B, both decided to craft two legendaries. Player A crafted a Frostfang for his warrior and an Incinerator for his thief while Player B decided to go for the distinct look of 2 Incinerators on his necro. Both Frostfang and Incinerator cost roughly the same (2,500+gold), both players went through roughly the same amout of effort to procure the legendaries and are happy with the outcome.
Now April 15th arrives – Player A is now able to copy his Frostfang and Incinerators to all his alts and can also have the distinctive look of dual wielding both legendaries. Player B can only duplicate Incinerator to his alts. In this example, the wardrobe change favors players with different legendaries while players with duplicate legendaries are at an “disadvantage”. I saw people argued that people with two Incinerators (Player B ) still have 2 purple rank weapons that allow stat change…but think about this, in my example, player A ALSO have 2 purple rank weapons (Frostfang and Incinerator). So, both players have exactly the same perk in term of the convenience of legendaries BUT Player A now have unlocked TWO legendary skins that he can duplicate as long as he has the charges while Player B only has 1 legendary skin unlocked. Both players have gone through the same efforts and commitment for two legendaries, but Player A have access to 2 distinct skins AND can dual wield (this really defeats Player B’s initial motivation to go for two Incinerators).
At the end:
Player A has 2 purple weapons for stat change (original frostfang and inci) and can now give Frostfang and Incinerator to his warrior, ele, necro, ranger, etc and dual wield in some cases.
Player B also has 2 purple weapons for stat change (2 incis) but can only unlock more Incinerators for his alts.
I fall under Player B and is quite bumped out by this change…If I knew this was the case, I would have crafted a different legendary and unlock that skin for all my alts instead of ending with 2 of the same one…
Best solution would be the one already mentioned: Only allow dual wielding if the account has 2 Incinerators/bolts/quips. If the account only has one, allow duplicating but all the toons cannot dual wield.
I also saw some people giving the analogy of store offering two for the price of one argument. I think in that case, the cost of the item should be considered as well. If I go to the store and saw apples I bought last night is now half price, I would just say “Man, wish I did not get those apples last night” and move on. But imagine me spending $50k on a Lexus and a few months later Lexus announces the car is now half price. I would immediately drive to the dealer with all the other buyers and demand refund/compensation of some sort.
I hope my little example helps shed some light on the disappointment. And if I am wrong, feel free to correct me.

although I am not sure the best solution would be the only people with 2 of the same can duel wield. I like that there will be the option to skin a ascended weapon with same legendary just want compensated so I can have/make a different legendary.
being compensated in this way will be best for all as then the people crying against us dont have much to cry about they still get their free “2500g Skin” and we can have a diff legendary.

They aren’t useless, you still got the stats and the capability to change. It is not about yours becoming useless but the fact that you don’t want others to get them easier.
This guy gets it. No one is LOSING ANYTHING with these changes, you feel like you are losing something because you think having 2 of the same legendary makes you look “elite” or “special”. It’s also selfishness, because instead of letting people have a new and easier way to get something that was tedious and annoying, you want to keep it the same because you had to go through that.
I like the wardrobe and dont want it to be changed. I just want compensated.

There doesn’t have to be a downside. And for the 100th time stat swapping is not worth 2500g it is the skin we bought and now everyone with 1 legendary is being given a extra 2500g skin.
Please stop this. You wouldn’t buy this skin alone for 2,5k. It’s the combination of all the things that make a legendary a legendary. If it really is just a skin, then I suppose Anet could just make them all exotics or ascended, make the skins 100% cosmetic and nobody would complain.

I don’t understand why people are complaining still? I welcome the change. and I will be charging more gems for this system because I approve it! love it!
as for the dual legendary, no, you won’t be laughed at because the stats can’t be transmute, only the skins.
The second legendary is not worth it for the ability to swap stats on the fly. I am willing to bet that most players would gladly trade their second legendary for 2-3 ascended weapons (that you can have different sigils on) and get 90% of what they spent on their legendary back.
Using stat swapping as a justification for not compensating players is a horrible argument. The primary value of a legendary is and always will be the skins until legendaries are account bound and allow sigil swapping on the fly just like stats.
Even then ascended weapons can now perfectly imitate dual wielding legendaries for a fraction of the cost.
There are a couple ways for anet to make this fair:
1) Seperate Legendaries from the wardrobe system
2) Make dual wielding the same skin available only after unlocking that same skin twice.
3) Refund Players for their Legendaries (swap to a legendary of equal of lesser value based on the average of each a month before the switch) or return the equivalent gold value.
I agree. this is pretty much BS I spent a lot of time making two incinerators to have it trivialized to were someone can make one but look like they made two. Regarding the stat swap. I barely change the stats on my legendary’s so this is not a justifiable reason to have 2 of the same.
We need to be compensated some how.

This is not the old Lion’s Arch people should be afking in. seeing so many people just collecting rewards and not helping should get you banned from the game or at the very least suspension.
This in my opinion is exploiting an event meant for a whole zone of people.
if it cant get you banned or suspended then anet should get the lasers to one shot anyone not moving for more than 30 secs.

I don’t get it. if its depositable then wtf does it matter on the change? especially when the achievement to get is account bound.
yeah people probably arent upset enough because most servers don’t have a que at all and the servers that do have a que did it to themselves with heavy recruitment
This is not the point. the point is the queue is RANDOM. did you not read any of the post?
It is hard to get upset over something that has always been in the game and I would say the opposite, that people are wasting way too much time kittening about queues instead of demanding some solid answers on the skill lag issue because that is really where the pain is if you are someone who loves WvW. Something is seriously wrong there and the only thing I know ANET can do to fix it involves making the queues worse so the more we scream about queues the less the chance ANET will risk giving us any improvement on skill lag. If we have to pick priorties, don’t you think skill lag is more important than borked queues that we’ve always managed to work around before?
The queue system has never been a queue and was always “broken” if you thought it was one, been that way since launch. A lot of players actually quit the game in the first two months using ANET “unique” queue method as their main motivation although some did also try transferring down to lower population worlds as well but they were mainly the crowd looking for large scale 24/7 epic three-way combat without limits so to be honest, GW2 was not going to be the game for them in the long run anyways.
The problem has never been how the waiting time functions but that us the players are so kitten unpredictable in our play habits and so typical in our dog-pile to the top attitudes. Not to mention the whole 6 months of free transfers because guesting was more complicated than originally planned. Lets face it, our clamoring and $$ made this game launch 6 months to a year sooner than it should have and we have to live with those consequences. It sucks that methods to better incentivize balanced WvW populations across servers were never implemented but then again, we are such a fickle lot good luck to any dev who tries to herd this bunch of moody charr cubs. They need psychology majors for that.
I am starting to think the the queue is part of the issue with the lag. Ever wonder why you cant get into a wvw then get in and see the enemy outnumbers you 3-1. Wonder if the queue is making the server caps wonky and one side is getting more players in then the other.
It baffles me that Anet would promote a wvw when its clearly broken in more ways then just the queue.
I dont think people realize the queue is so broken because they keep blaming it on the “pvers” that are going in to get the ap points. People need to stop blaming the influx of people and realize that the queue is not a queue and is broken.
Bugged Queues, extreme skill lag. They need to address this stuff soon. this is unplayable how it is and you ether loss or win just cause of skill lag, that is if you can get in the dang maps.
They need to stop this league and the achievement and fix this. Then redo the league later. I don’t rage often in games and this skill lag and bugged queues are making me want to quite and go play something else.

And does anyone know how queue appears ? Sometimes we are queuing and when we finally enter, we realise we are 40 on the map with 80+ ennemies on both other servers…
I believe map caps are server related meaning if a server has a 100 man EB BL cap it doesn’t mean the other server you are fighting against has the same cap.
Queue is totally random.
That is screwed up and needs to be fixed NOW. No reason for one server to be allotted more players than the server they are fighting. If that is the case, then indeed servers are stacked in favor of others……..

Thank you for letting us know….. but honestly was it a good decision to start a league and make achievements when the queue is not a queue and skill lag is the worse that it has been? I hardly ever post cause I know bugs will be fixed and yada yada yada but really?
I am surprised that no one else seems to notice how inconsistent the queues are.

Ok so I understand there is going to be lag from time to time. There will be skill lag everynow and then. Especially in a big Zerg v Zerg. but there is something really wrong now. I get worse skill lag then I ever had and there is no one around me. no zerg nothing. this started to happen before this league non sense. Anet needs to check their servers!!!!!
Queues are still bugged. people think there are really long queues but somehow its bugged. there has been countless times where I queue with someone and one gets in with in minutes then the other waits hours. Recently a friend got DCed and then queued, while he was queued I DCed then queued and got in right away.
I am convinced that the extra long queues are due to some bug your character gets.
Yes this is super annoying I have this same bug. I am betting most people do.
Flute sounds really nice compared to the other instruments in my opinion but why do you not hold the flute to your face when playing. That is complete BS. I would so buy one if it did. What a shame.
This is not Gear Locking.
In the same boat. Game on release no lag no long loading No Disconnects. Lately I DC lag all the time and the loading screens are starting to get annoying with the length.

But wouldn’t it have been easier to just default all PvE zone as overflow. this would bring more population to the empty zones and would allow you to play with anyone on other servers. I would imagine it would be far easier to implement too. soon I will have the option to play with someone on a low pop server since we cant guest onto a full server.
You have no idea if it was a bot. it could have been someone farming especially if they invited you to a group. Bots usually are just that Bots a program automatically controlling them for the person who is botting. Bots come from the word robot. example not an actual person playing. Framer is an actual person playing.
A holiday event is a one-time event as well, it’s just spread out over the course of several days. I really see no reason to chop that down to a single pocket of 6 hours when you have the capability to make it last for a reasonable length.
Unless you want to argue that the Mad King event wasn’t a one time event for whatever insane reason you can come up with. Sure it’s a holiday that’s repeated each year, but the event content itself is always unique and never to be seen again. I’m sure the only thing that will carry over from that is fighting the Mad King in some capacity.
You know that is a good point could have some kind of instanced that was repeatable true and I would bet they will have stuff like that at times. But I still feel there should be one time events. I even feel there should be one time surprise events. I remember hearing of stuff in EQ1 were the Guides would put on a event at a random time it was great even though I couldn’t do them all was cool to hear the stories. I did happen to catch one Guide event on EQ2 and it was fun and exciting.
This Last event was fun. some of it was a bit aggravating but it was fun and the reward was good even though I didn’t get a precursor.
Please don’t listen to the people complaining about one time events. One time events are great cause they create stories years to come. If I miss one oh well life goes on but I get to hear tales of others and epic battles later on.
It pains me to think that all the QQing could result in no more events like this and have them go away completely or turn into some cookie cutter “heart” quest. Please continue with the one time events. Maybe change the days they happen from time to time but don’t get rid of them.
Geez why does everyone sound like spoiled little brats. Life is not fair you are not going to be able to make every event. I was fortunate for the Halloween event. this one I work everyday and it does not bug me cause this is what makes the game great are events like this but I don’t expect that I can do them all. And stop speculating the future you have no idea how the next event will go down after this one. crying about the one after Lost Shore is a waste of your time and energy when we don’t know how it is going to be. for all we know they will stop these events because of everyone crying that they cant make it how. “how unfair” cry cry cry.
Stop and be glad that they do stuff like this. You will miss some and make it to some events, that’s if they continue to do this type of cool stuff. If we are not appreciative I bet they go away someday in the future.
