Guild Wars 2

I’m in the “The Jungle Provides” LS mission, and I got up to the last Blighting Pod and destroyed it while fighting the Mordrem protecting it. Another wave spawned while I was fighting the remaining Guard. After I defeated everything there were no enemies left in the area but the final goal “Mordrem Guard Waves Remaining” still read “2/3”. I looked around everywhere but there’s nothing for me to do, my progress is blocked…

Nope, it’s no coincidence. She does indeed hunt down specific players the whole event. Happened to me a while ago, she jumped me a half dozen times while I was alone at a vendor. I’ve heard some poor guys even had her shoot them off the end of a jumping puzzle, lol.

My character is 12 month old now and did not receive birthday present I played since head start 25 August .

Same. I didn’t get gift on the very first character I made, during Head Start. I got it on my alts I made after him though. In /age it says 12 months, so something’s just weird with my main. ;/

I am having this exact issue as well.

This achievement is so poorly designed I will probably quit the game because of it. My personal thing is to fill out all the Event Achievement pages. But now I will forever have one spot that was impossible to get barring ridiculous dumb luck or finding a half-dozen people willing to cheat w/ you for it. It’s disgusting no fixes have been implemented for it with it being clearly one of the most common complaints the past few weeks. If Anet can’t care about it’s players then I can’t care about the game.

Seriously, it’s completely ridiculous and needs a fix ASAP. Do we need another dozen threads to make that clear?

Please fix (or even just remove) this absolutely asinine achievement. You could easily play a thousand games and never get this as it only requires one other competent player to make it nearly impossible.

Feedback: Putting one-time events while the entire 9-5 working class in the US is stuck at their job is irreverent. I guess the game’s target audience is children and the unemployed.

Don’t even do such things unless there’s a very reasonable span of time for people to login and do the event. Better even to instance the events along the lines of the beta hunger games or something. Anything is better than just giving the middle finger to everybody w/ a job.

Another common-sense idea, don’t do timed events on a weekday at all. Save that stuff for the weekend.

Or you can’t take time off work and you apparently miss the event completely.

What kind of jack-a’s put a one-time event on a weekday while the entire US is working/schooling?

+1 to this is absolute charrs**t. Busted my kitten for this and then got screwed out at that last second because I didn’t think anyone would be dumb enough to reset monthlies while the server time is still the previous month.
