Nobody knows if a successful critic bleeding on a well is applied only on one mob and goes to CD or on each mob in the area ?
Another question though. If you do well of suffering + well of corruption + scepter damage, with 1 or 2s CD it will miss a lot of critics. Moreover when a well critics it applies the bleeding on each mob within the well or just one and goes to CD ?
The CD still kinda ruin the thing.
@Brogin : Okay very low CD, so it’s still good, nice to know !
@Mathemagician : Well the first minor trait in Curses you’re refering to is Barbed precision and it’s only 1 tick so it can be seen as a ~100 dmg direct damage so it’s really not that good.
Hello,
I’m a condition necromancer and I’m having doubts about precision. Barbed precision seems awesome when you read it but sucks because it’s only a 1s bleed. So precision would only be useful with a sigil of earth but I just read somewhere that it has a cooldown, is that right ? If that’s the case then precision becomes a useless stat for us and it would be better to focus on +power +condition damage +(toughness or vita) stuff. What are your thoughts on this matter ?
On a side note, I really hope Anet will increase the number of maximum bleeding stacks because in my opionion it’s totally unthinkable to let a class be useless in big events and worse, sometimes some of us can’t even complete the events because of too low damages and did it for nothing.
Curses Trait 1st Tier :
Barbed Precision : Critical hits have a 66% chance to cause bleeding.
How long does the bleeding last ?
Hello,
Are Well of Corruption and Well of Suffering based on power or + condition damage ?
Do they have a chance to critic at each pulse ?
Thanks !
- Nobody ?
Hello, here are some questions I have about damage :
1) +Power vs +Condition damage. As I understand it +power and +condition damage are included in Attack ( when we put the mouse on attack it confirms that ). And Attack is used in every direct damage skill, just not in conditions damages, like bleeding which only use +conditions damage. So if that’s true, +condition damage is always better than +power ?
2 ) As a necromancer I love the Scepter. Basically it has crap direct damage but do a lot of bleeding stacks and a poison stack. In the wiki for poison it says "Characters suffering from poison appear green tinted. " I do not see any green tick but I have a lot for damages at 56, some at 104 and a few at 12.
Now I am confused about a few things. 56 is oviously the bleeding part since I have around 7/8 bleeding active at the same time and I see a lot of ticks. I’m assuming 12 would be the poison since I don’t know what else it could be and 104 would be the critical bleeding damage,. But the poison is supposed to be a lot higher than the bleeding. From the wiki :
Bleeding :
2.5 + 0.5 * Level + 0.05 * Condition Damage per stack per second
Poison :
Level + 0.1 * Condition Damage per second
So what’s going on here, why are the poison damages so low ?
3) Now about the critical hits, again from the wiki they are supposed to be 1.5x the normal damages + prowess. I have like 5% prowess but it nearly double the damage, 104 critical bleeding vs 56 and I m not sure but I think this is the case with my direct hits too, nearly double. Am I missing something ?
4) A more oriented Necromancer question. As I said I love the Scepter and the damage output is essentially bleeding. A Scepter Necromancer must go with Curses Trait for the Lingering Curse : Conditions inflicted by scepter skills last 33% longer.
The Grandmaster “skill” Target the Weak does this :
2% increased damage for each condition on a foe.
First I’ll assume it is 2% increase on each condition type and not each condition stack, which would make my analysis even worse.
When I solo mobs I do 56 bleeding damage, so the real bleeding damage without the 2% is 56/1.02 = 54.90 damage. It does 56 with the 2% increase. Now when poison arrives, the bleeding ticks should do 54.90 * 1.04 = 57.1 damage. But it stays at 56.
We can conclude that the Grandmaster “skill” Target the Weak "2% increased damage for each condition on a foe. " doesn’t work on bleeding or any conditions. Which obviously makes the Scepter totally useless since all its output is based on bleeding and poison.
Is it a bug and it is supposed to affect conditions as well, I really hope that’s the case because scepter build is useless and does no damage as is or is it working as intended ?
5) Bonus question : Are wells based on Attack or just Condition damage and can they critic ?
Thanks in advance !
