i think people that team with someone way outside their pip range should get punished more for losses. while pips don’t always equal skill, if you are queueing with legendry’s as an amber/emerald, and you aren’t up to par I think you deserve to bear the majority of the teams pip loss. One person’s gaming experience shouldn’t more important than the 3 other on the team that were expecting a reasonably skilled player.

Actually she’s ruby and I’ve been queueing with her on a sapphire alt. We’re not facing legendary teams, we’re facing teams at her “skill level” (or what Anet considers that to be based on the flawed MMR concept).

The root of the issue is she’s losing 2 pips a match while doing better than most of the team.

I have a friend whom I’ve been trying to help get to legendary because of the matchmaking issues. Ever since the patch, if we would lose a match she would lose 2 pips instead of one; even though she’s been active the whole match. Just had a match where a player on our team deserted the match and nobody lost pips except her. She was with us the entire match and didn’t afk or d/c or anything and still lost pips. Not just one, TWO. She’s been stuck in a division because she’s being punished hard for every loss.

As for wins she only gets one pip most of the time, even from comeback or win streaks. She said she emailed support but they never got back to her and I couldn’t find a thread of this so I’m posting this one. Any one have this issue/ find a solution to it?

Winning matches awarding no pips

This is the third time this has happened. I was on a loss streak of 3. I won a ranked pvp match and instead of receiving 2 pips, I didn’t get any pips at all. I still have my loss streak, and the game itself isn’t even recorded into my games on the main pvp panel that tracks your last 10 games. Many other players are having this issue but there’s no way to get the pips other than winning more matches. So instead of actually getting the win, we could lose and go down even more pips. Please fix, please award lost pips.

Bump – Failed a mission by like 1min. This seems downright impossible, especially when you have to have everything taken around the camp and need constant swiftness on dolyaks and you might barely get it.

Crashing in Dragons Stand

so far, 4 world bosses without a crash so you guys should really take a look at your drivers, I was just victim of the crashings only a couple hours ago, and after some troubleshooting, I solved the problem on my end. It Was A Specific Version Of The Graphics Driver, Which Is Solved And Stable In The Newest Driver … so maybe we should give Anet a break and maybe it might be something we haven’t thought of, on our own systems? Just saying.

Say all you want, this does NOT diminish the fact people are wasting hours of time in crashes all over the game. Regardless of if a crash happens or not, it’s the same thing for D/C! or maybe a breaker tripped. The issue is not being able to get back on the map and being boned out of hard earned rewards due to a really bad design.

I myself just d/cd at the end of the meta 20ft away from the statue chest. RIP

Entire DS Map Ported to New Map Instance?!

In addition to this, if you crash or d/c at the end of the meta you can’t get back into the map. I can see people that weren’t on the map originally not getting in, sure, but to make it where the people that just spent almost 2 hours get screwed out of loot that only drops at the end of a meta? gg – Was about to land at the statue chest, crashed, didn’t get anything cause i went to a new map

What level Fractals give Ascended Chests?

Would be nice if they changed it back to the old system. Like actually needing the personal level of what you’re doing to get loot from it. At the moment there are people doing 51+ swamp-for-life with not even enough ar nor a personal level that is close and they get ascended chests while the people that have made an actual effort get precipitates every day……

Plus the higher your personal level the more likely you should get chests. So say you have a personal level of 100, you should have a higher chance than anyone that isn’t 100. In addition, having the achievements should also give a higher chance. This would create incentive for people to do more than just swamp so there are actually parties for non-swamp fractals.

So the low tier fractals will still have their really low chance of dropping chests but the high ones will actually reward people for doing the content.

Also giving a better chance for doing different fractals for the 51+ tier would be nice as well. So if you did a different fractal each time instead of just swamp every time you would be better off.

Just a thought, the rng system atm is rewarding crazy lucky people every day or those that don’t really work for it. Please change this.

Revenant ability: Vengeful Hammers

It’s not just the hammers, any skill that involves movement, like unrelenting assault, or sometimes even upkeep skills (like assassin’s superspeed/quickness), will just stop if you are near a wall or object. On top of which you can’t even use unrelenting assault on small objects like turrets “No valid path to target”. I’ve also had numerous issues of not being able to use a skill on an enemy literally right in front of me “Target is obstructed”. There’s no object there, no height/angle/gradient change what-so-ever, but the skill just won’t work AND it goes on cooldown. Same with out of range. if the target is 5 yards out of range or moves out of range during a skill activation, it says out of range and goes on cooldown. These things are highly frustrating and I hope they get fixed T_T
