I’d rather they not decrease waypoints. I only intend to use mounts when it is absolutely necessary for me to do so, because I much prefer the way my character looks without them. Forcing me to use a mount to get anywhere within a reasonable amount of time would be about as annoying to me as being forced to wear a silly hat. I care a lot about having my characters look the way I want them to, so this would significantly decrease my interest in GW2.
I’m fine with mounts as long as I’m not forced to use one and they don’t remove any waypoints to make up for it. I only play charr and I’m pretty sure they would look absolutely stupid trying to ride a horse.
This happens to me too every now and then. I have no idea what causes it. I always keep my graphics drivers updated and I haven’t noticed any overheating. Also Ctrl+Alt+Del won’t work. I have tried, but gw2 just won’t close.
Might be your firewall awaiting confirmation about Gw2.exe (or Gw2-64.exe) — have you granted full internet access to this application?

Please don’t do this. If female charr don’t have boobs, why the hell would something that isn’t even a mammal have them? I’m so sick of non-mammalian races in MMOs having boobs just to make them look “hot”. I really want Tengu but if the females look like this it will just ruin it for me. Besides, the differences between male and female Tengu are mentioned in the wiki. Here is a quote from the wiki: “The females of their species have plainer plumage and are typically larger than males.”
I love that the hawk wings are actually shaped like real bird wings. They look awesome. It would be great if they could also add some more versions of these wings in different colors.
I don’t think I can support this. I play another MMO that has something kinda like this. You can “downvote” other players and after a certain amount that player becomes temporarily banned from the chat. It is so abused that you could be afk and then come back unable to chat. There are even troll guilds on that game that do nothing but target innocent players and try to get them muted for no reason. I really don’t want something like that to happen here.

Just no. Giving them “feathers around open skin” to make them “hot” would look ridiculous. Also it kind of reminds me of what happens when birds get depressed and start plucking their own feathers and it does not look pretty. Also tengu should be #1 because birds are awesome.
The kerra in Everquest Next looks ridiculous in my opinion. It’s anatomy is far worse than the charr and if the charr looked like that, I would not be playing as one. I think that if Anet would fix the armor problems and that problem with the footprints the charr would look amazing.
My first and main character is a female charr warrior. I’m new here, but I still think it’s odd that I have not seen any other female charrs while playing. They look awesome.
