Before you read any further please note this is a really, really new guild so if you are
looking for an established guild with an established community, we might not be for you!

But if you love that fresh guild smell, read on!

Tyrian Tea Club [TC] is now recruiting social, friendly members who play on an NA server but their playtime is closer to an EU schedule. We are based on Tarnished Coast but hope to be cross server, due to a biased focus toward PvE and our odd time zone.

We have the basic upgrades filled out and are looking for members that want to help the guild grow. Our vision is to become primarily a social guild, with a really strong emphasis on community, something a player bound to EU timings on an NA server may miss out on normally.

As stated, we would like to cover most PvE aspects, including dungeons, world bosses,
map completion and farming all liberally sprinkled with fun and friendly conversation. We also have plans for RP plots for members who this interests. We currently don’t focus on sPvP and WvW but if members want to arrange this in guild, there’s nothing to say you can’t! We are looking to expand to around 50 members but have a core group of 20 or so that play super regularly.

The ideal member is someone who loves to chat about the game, get involved and share their experiences of adventuring in Tyria. We don’t have any restrictions on level or experience, what really matters is how you contribute to the guild as an individual. We don’t want our guild chat to simply be a secondary map chat! (even if map chat is fun… sometimes, no?) We also don’t endorse an age limit, it is your actions in the guild that determine if you are ‘mature’ enough. Simply put, if you act like a little skritt you aren’t welcome.

So if you are looking for a guild that is based on making in-game friends rather than contacts and enjoy PvE primarily, we may be for you!

Personally I’d love to be able to duel people in a ‘PvE’ environment, of course for fun. But I can understand why people would be against that and the subsequent issues it would cause with people abusing it. Costume brawl is kind of the lighthearted PvE version, although doesn’t make up for actually testing your skills against friends 1v1.

While you could use arenas for 1v1 and I suspect Anet hope people will create custom arenas for that purpose, I’d love to see this either implemented in sPvP properly. Either a game mode you can set your arena to (so it isn’t based on capture points as such) or just having a training area/instance within the mists.

Not sure what size guild you are looking for but What The Kitten [Meow] is a small (but steadily growing I may add) PvX guild. We have a great little community, very friendly, welcoming members, across different timezones.

Being PvX we do lots of varied events from Fractals and Dungeons to WvW and sPvP parties. Lots of responses! I agree with Karuna on staying with Tarnished Coast, it’s expensive to transfer back when you regret moving out of TC and TC’s community is pretty friendly, probably one of the better servers for community feel out there in my opinion.

As you probably guessed too, I wouldn’t be posting here if I wasn’t offering you membership to some guild :p

What The Kitten [Meow] is based on Tarnished Coast, so no need to transfer! We are a smaller sized guild with a very close knit community. Our members are friendly, helpful and welcoming. Being focused on PvX we regularly run Fractals and Dungeons as well as jumping into WvW and sPvP for some light hearted fun too. Players usually party up to complete PvE events and content and recently we have been having fun with the living story.

I run a small but very friendly guild called What The Kitten [Meow] which is based on Tarnished Coast. Our ‘focus’ is PvX so we do a little bit of everything and run lots of different events from Dungeons, Fractals, sPvP and WvW as well as our own novelty events. We have a guild training mission this weekend which you are more than welcome to join in with!

We have people from GMT and PST/EST time zones and a wide level spread. All of our members are helpful, laid back, friendly people and we always welcome more socially inclined guildies

I’d like to introdcue What The Kitten [Meow] to you. We are based on Tarnished Coast and have a PvX focus (lol if you could call PvX a ‘focus’) so we do a little bit of everything. Fractals, Dungeons, WvW, novelty events, sPvP. You name it. On top of that, we are a pretty laid back, friendly bunch which makes for a close knit community. That’s not to say we aren’t welcoming though!

Thought I’d introduce my PvX guild on Tarnished Coast, now I know you are on Ruins of Surmia but we also have a member or two over there so party play is feasible. Due to the guild being PvX centered we hold events such as dungeon/fractal nights which is only restricted by the NA/EU server division. We also hold PvP nights and WvW nights (the WvW nights would be the only thing you couldn’t join in with due to server)

Not sure if you have settled on a server yet. Servers tend to depend on what aspect of the game you are focused on. You can have a look at WvW rankings if you are more into the PvP aspects of games, Tarnished Coast (NA) and Piken Square (EU) are considered unofficial Role Playing server, but don’t let that put you off if you aren’t a Roleplayer, as the communities on there are pretty nice (TC is even pretty handy at WvW)

Friendly and relaxed, we welcome new players and have a fairly wide level spread within the guild. What The Kitten [Meow] is a smallish but growing PvX Guild. We are into all aspects of the game and hold regular events to cover this. We have Dungeon, Fractal and PvE stuff planned as well as WvW and guild PvP tournies up and coming. We have a wide range of levels within the guild and are a pretty friendly bunch.

However, we are based on Tarnished Coast which is a North American server. If you are in an EU server, you might have to transfer. I am from GMT time zone as well and due to the later hours that I play at during weekends this suits me ok. Might be a different story for you though! (Oh and TC is like… 3rd in WvW rankings if that’s your sort of thing ;D )

A big welcome to everyone that has joined this week!

We are however still looking for fun-loving guildies to join our community. It doesn’t matter if you have a couple of 80’s up your sleeve and want to get into some of the higher level stuff or if you are just starting!

What The Kitten [Meow] is a brand new PvX server based on Tarnished Coast. We are looking to recruit some friendly, active players into our ranks to kick start our community.

The guild is international, so has players on GMT and PST times.

Our existing members are very friendly, relaxed and helpful guildies. We enjoy guild wars for all that it is, including those ‘What The Kitten!?’ moments. We aren’t here to be elitist in anyway and our community enjoys helping people new to Guild Wars or MMOs in general.

Focus:

PvX. Although we are more bias toward PvE aspects for the time being, as our community grows we hope to start arranging varied events. When the mood takes us we will jump into sPvP and WvW but as a fun loving guild we aren’t worried if we go give the incoming zerg a free hug. It’s all good fun!

Events:

As a small guild we have lots of room to grow and part of this is allowing our members to shape the events we arrange. Our website features an event calendar that we can give active members access to arrange events through.

Pick up play is also a big section of our guild. Dragons, world bosses, leveling, dungeon runs and map completion are the sorts of things we love to do and are often impromtu guild events. As we grow though, more creative events will arise, details of which can be found on our website.

Ranks:

We don’t believe in having a super structured rank system. We are here as friends enjoying a great game, we don’t want people to feel they need status or a rank to do so.

That being said, our fluid ranking system allows members who consistently arrange events or gather up groups to use influence and guild funds to do this 120% better with extra permissions. On top of that we have usual administrative ranks, but we all know they are the equivalent of servitor golems

What we look for:

All we ask is that players are friendly and social. This is a casual, social guild for casual, social people. Be prepared to join in.

There are no race, skill, profession or level restrictions. As long as you aren’t being a plebian within the guild, we are all good!
