The NE corner Zephyra mentions is definately an exploit. I managed to get on top of that mountain myself as a villager but it’s 100% unreachable by ghosts. Villagers require food or a birthday blaster to get on top of that wall. (I went off instantly after I got there though I am merely a mountain goat
)
Arenanet should add an invisible wall all around the NE corner.
The specific place they need to fix I can tell them through a PM or w.e because I don’t want to disclose the method of getting to the NE spot to avoid further abuse.
This is definately not the most broken spot in lunatic inquisition. I have been showing the way to get there during this and last years halloween. It is indeed all about jumping skills. The last time I played it today I got called many things that would be kittened here and the whole arguement was about whether or not this is an exploit. I reported it to Arenanet for two halloweens as well and considering it hasn’t been fixed I doubt they classify it as an exploit.
And as Rutie said. The game is already incredibly favored towards ghosts, and villagers having (three) hard to reach options (SE (this spot), the YouTube video one and another spot in the NE) is not more than fair. As long as all places are able to be reached by ghosts I don’t see a problem.
Also a Dodgejump IS NOT needed to get there as GHOST. I have managed to get up there plenty of times WITHOUT a speedboost as ghost with a regular jump. All it takes is timing and practice.
I’m glad that different colour icons are finally being implemented and happy that Anet has listened to the community in that aspect, however the implementation method isn’t the appropriated one.
A lot has been said about the costs above already. What I think is the biggest issue is that this doesn’t cater to the specific needs the WvW community talked about in the CDI.
With this implementation, as far as we know, there is no option for guilds to have a ’’private’’ commander icon. Neither is it feasible to organise defense and offense better. Sure there might be seperate colours now but with this way of implementing there are plenty of people who acn just ‘’troll-buy’’ the commander tag.
As mentioned in reddit perhaps an idea could be to have seperate icons for PvE and WvW. Make the WvW tags cost 10k badges of honour or more, this way the WvW commanders who go for a different colour actually want to have it and at the same time assure that the WvW-oriented commanders are able to more easily get the tag. A seperation of community might not be what Anet wants but the current solution will just add more confusion to WvW.
Let’s say hypothetically there is a yellow commander on the map and yellow is the colour to follow for the defensive commander. The current yellow commander doesn’t know this and is running around attacking gates, as well as the blue commander. A new yellow commander comes in and wants to take over, this is then impossible because there is already a yellow commander in the map.
The purpose of the coloured icons was to assure that worlds were able to distinguish between different commander ’’roles’’. The current implementation doesn’t make this a possibility yet.
FoR Raids:
Maybe even make players able to more easily remove a tag from the map rather than joining a squad.
The ability to right-click on a commander tag in WvW and turn it off (until you leave the map) could be an option.
I hope you listen to the community and make some changes to this implementation method to help the WvW community.

Also have this issue.. tried to log in this morning but no luck so far!

I am not entirely sure this is a bug but:
At the final fight if the boss is a cloud-like thing. If you use moto’s finger and afterwards attack the attacks keep ticking up higher. My peak was 625 damage. This only seems to work with the nunchuck things.

This is a very interesting bug. (and probably already known)
If you have a battle near the water you can go into any elite but plague.. then after that elite runs out, go into the water, use Plague, and you can have two elites after each other active as a necro. Bare in mind Plague will continue working when you leave the water.

Not really game breaking but still. If you have bauble bubbles in your bank and take them all out and go into SAB you can have more than your wallet can carry.
(it stops counting at 999 but I have over 1100 in my inventory) Just bought the shovel and the counter went from 999 to 809, so you could pretty much stack up on infinite baubles in ur inventory

The rapids weren’t the biggest problem to me. The pattern(?) didn’t seem off at all.
There are a few tricky jumps that need to be done by dodge jumping( like right after the checkpoint where the stone on the far left hits you, that one you can dodge jump onto the rapid). It’s just patiently waiting for the pattern to be seen.
One thing I did do though is if I died and didnt get pushed back all the way (which happens sometimes) quickly jump to one of the sides so that way you dont get pushed back all the way but end up against a wall or rock :P

Lil Puppy, try walking towards the rock, then dodgeroll back and jump on to the rock.. you will be able to make the jump upwards and get knocked down when you reach the higher ground.
Yesterday evening I somehow managed to finish SAB W2Z1 tribulation mode.
If I didn’t have the infinite coin I would never have been able to finish this zone.
It was a lot of fun (and frustration) but there are a few points i would like to note.
1. WHy are there no save balloons?( or I managed to miss them all)
2. After killing the rac o—-on (rakitten?) guy and before trying to get to the frogger part with the huge waterfall. The part where you have to jump around the corner to avoid the spike traps that block the way. That jump is SO TEDIOUS.. it took me 45 minutes to finish, is this intended to be that hard?
3. The hugging past the spike trap after the frogger checkpoint is very diffuclt to do too (but doable)
4. The FIRST mushroom jump is very annoying. you keep missing the mountain by the smallest of margins 8/10 times or something. If you die and need to do that part over (and over) again it gets quite frustrating.
Overall I have to say I am very much liking tribulation mode, thank you for putting all the effort in! (i didnt do world 2 zone 2/3 yet though

I’m probably moving to an American server before the 28th due to my partner being Australian and playing in American servers, guesting wasn’t the option for us sadly

So ye i’m looking for a dungeon orientated guild in any American server. I’m mostly appealed to dungeons / Fractals of the Mists so any guild that plays that a lot I would love to join.
My main is a Necro and I can level some more characters if need be (only 1 lvl 80 still).

I am also very let down. I also made friends across the world in GW1 and loved that I could play with them. I even met my partner there. But she is also in the NA servers and timezone wise it would be making one of us have a ’’deadzone’’ where there would be no one online in our respective timezone in either the EU or NA.
I really wish that Arenanet would at least make it possible to play INSTANCES together internationally.
That was possible in GW1 and we all accepted the possible latency issues there, so I don’t see why we couldn’t also accept the latency issue in GW2.
Please make us able to at least play instances together to be able to play with our international friends Arenanet.

me and my partner (she is australian) can’t even play the game together now unless one of us accepts dead hours in the game.
I went in the fractals with some friends.
As you can see we finished the Snowblind fractal. Teleported to the Asura fractal.. but then I got TP’d back to the Snowblind fractal.
What I think could have started this is I was jumping up the ramp where the Lornarr boss goes (using Death shroud skill 4 damages him if he is up there).
I got my reward and jumped back up there to try and get on the platform.. then we TP’d to the Asura fractal and I shot back to the exact place i was jumping at.

As a necromancer.
If you use the Elite lichform and get pushed / jump / feared / anything into the water.
Lich form dissapears and it stays on full recharge.
Don’t know if this is meant to happen figured i’d put it down

Hello!
For a guild event I am trying to organise something but I need a place with a fair few environmental items (like boulders).
What I am wondering is, are there any items that work like the catapult? (you have to aim it and the longer you hold the button the further you shoot)
It’s kind of intended to work like this:
A team of three players has the environmental item. Then a necro places a mark and you have to aim + have the right speed to land in the mark
So,
I’m a terrible jumper apparently and fell down frequently at the statue with the wind blowing (apparently stability makes u able to just run through)
However, after dieing 4 times there I got defeated instantly and now my teammates can’t see me at all at ther espawn place. So they just carried on.
Figured i’d tell ya
I doubt they are making it like that. Just wait for the event to happen before jumping to conclusions.
