Guild Wars 2

I’m hoping they’ll just pull a World of Warcraft hunter with the Druid spec, giving us the level 100 talent from wow Lone Wolf (it makes it so you play petless, your base damage is increased by 30% and you have the ability to activate petbuffs yourself)

This could work VERY well for the gw2 ranger I believe.
Take away the pet, increase damage (as the first minor in the druid line)
And then give us 2 “aspects” as our new proffesion mechanic, where you slot in your two pets of choise and you can activate their abilities yourself)
You could slot fern hound for extra heal, jaguar for a short stealth, eagle for some bleed.

I think it could work quite well, and would in my opinion fix a lot of the problems rangers have with pets

Still wishing that they’ll sneakreveal Druid and Forge before BWE2.

I really like the hair and the eyes, but the lips are too small and bright for my tastes.

I think the “leave the mists” button should show a picture of the area you’re returning to, and not the heart of the mists picture.

I realise that sometimes when I’ve played pvp for a while I forget where I was in the real world, it’s no big deal but I think it would be an easy thing to do, and it does make sense.
What do you guys think?

I feel the same way, I’ve maxed out my mesmer in pretty much every way.
And done almost everything.

I was also told to level an alt so I made a guardian and an elementalist.
But I just can’t force myself to level them anymore, because I’ve just spendt SO much time on my mesmer, and I’m planning on using my laurels for her and stuff.
It just feels like a waste spending time on another chracter when I could play on my mesmer.

Except for PvP, the rest of my charcters are pretty much stuck in the mists most of the time

The game have been out for a while, and I think it would be nice if we got something like WoWs Armory.
When I’m idling at school or work it would be nice to at least look at my character, show her off to my friends and such

We could also use the armory function to display our characters faces as our forum avatars, which i think would be really nice.

tl;dr I think something like WoWs armory would be nice, because of reasons

Anyway, I don’t like the build. 20 in valor is just bad because those traits are very bland and really just filler until you get AH with 30 points. Far, far better to go with 20 in honor for EM and SA as well as the vastly superior minor traits. I also don’t like your gear which is very unfocused.

Okay, i’ll look into the traits and try around with other ones, any suggestion for gear then?
I just went with what gave me overall well-rounded stats

I mean, dont they say that we need a tank guard and not a ranged….

That’s exactly why I made this build for myself, I don’t like tanking.
I prefer ranged/support.
Nobody have yelled at me yet, but I’ve mostly went in with guild mates

Ever since I played my first fantasy rpg (tabletop D&D) I’ve been hooked on the “Cleric” class.
Magical holy warriors sort of thing, though when I started playing WoW i couldn’t stand the paladin class, I went with a priest. (I’m more of a castery guy)

So since I got tired with my mesmer I started playing on a guardian alt, and i figured out; Hey I’ll try to make a caster guardian!

So being inspired by clerics and priests this is the build I ended up with

(Elite is pretty optional imo, you can use whatever.)

I’m currently using it for leveling, but I’ve tried it out in dungeons and pvp aswell.
I’m liking it personally, I think it works all around for anything.
For leveling it’s good (but then again pretty much any build is good while leveling)
In sPvp/tPvp i wouldn’t use it, guardians are too important to have fun in pvp, keep those points safe bros!
In WvW though, this build is so much fun, I feel somewhat useful with it, scepter isn’t good enough to kill someone when you’re ontop of a wall, but it’s enough to annoy them. And the hammer is just awesome, smacking people around.
It’s okay for dungeons aswell, it’s not as good as some of the cheesy-trait builds out there. But it’s fun and not horrible.

Overall I think it’s a nice build, that’s why I’m posting it here, maybe there’s some other guardians out there who’d prefer to be more priestly than warrior.
Opinions and suggestions for change are welcome.

Into rangers/mesmers and somewhat guardians.

Death match, yes please.
I like conquest mode aswell but, sometimes you just want to kill people.
And running around on your own for kills is a bad thing in conquest, it hurts the team more than it helps most of the time.

So i vote yes, Deathmatch please

The ritualist, it’s my favourite class in every game, ever.
There’s just something about the class that’s just so.. i don’t even know.
I just know i love the class, and I’d do anything to get them in gw2.

I know anet don’t really want to make more proffesions due to balancing issues
(see paragon)
But the ritualist was so unique, and so special to guild wars.

And i don’t really see many lore-reasons to why we shouldn’t be able to get ritualists. With the eventual Cantha expansion there would be no problem.
I assume we’ll be fighting against the tyranny there, I’m positive there’s a bunch of rebel ritualists.

I’ve also played it out in my head and ritualists would work with gw2s battle system.
They would be great at it. They’d be the kings of defending points in pvp, they’d be the lovable support in pve. And everything would be spirits and sunshine.

I could even make up a ton of weapon sets/weapon skills and utilities, i’m pretty sure anyone who played gw1 could.

So what do you guys think?
Do you guys want ritualists?

Ey, I’m a mesmer and i do explorables all the time.
Mesmers don’t deal bad damage, not at all.
A 3clone Cry of frustration will devestate most trash packs, and for bosses you are the buff master.

A mesmer is one of those classes you really want in dungeons, life is just easier and more exciting with us around.
