Not been in this situation, and I’ve only been playing the game 3 months, but… Anet support is amazing. These guys “get” that our enjoyment is a priority.

Fast response yet again from CS, they are still rolling them out over the next few days, so sit tight, don’t panic and spare a thought for ANet, who we hope are at least consuming lots of pizza while they work really hard this weekend!

I’m really not sure how to answer this… I purchased it from this site, when it was a HoT preorder. There was no free to play at that time, so I don’t know how I could possibly play without doing what is necessary. I’ve unlocked Daredevil on my theif, I was able to participate in the beta weekends, everything suggests I am HoT enabled.

If I am not eligible for a char slot, then the person responsible for the wording on preorder page has a lot to answer for.

Are you sure that you activated hot after purchasing it? Also,

if you purchased hot before release and own gw2 core game from before 23 of january (iirc) you’ll receive the extra slot.

btw, I received my extra slot in less than 24h and I purchased yesterday, so they’re pretty busy atm. It’s really strange what happened to you.

4 empty slots. But I have no free regular slots with which to try and create a new character.

Speaking of which, just checked, they are now gone. They were there earlier today.

Ok my lovelies, there has been a bit of a change in the situation.

The beta slots have been removed completely, now when you add your desired name to your friends list the error does pop up and it tells you the name does not exist (also tested with Andraus’ name from above). However, I am still unable to make a character as it says it is in use.

It’s been doing this for me the whole time.

I need to know the answer to this.. I was about to buy another character slot but that is pointless now.

I get this except my screen goes black, and that requires a reboot to fix. I’ve had this Radeon 6850 for about 3 years and it’s never happened in any other game before.

Win 7, single GPU, still using v14.5 drivers.

Ordinarily this would only ping up any given icon in that area – say you hovered over the vista icon – it would only ping revealed vistas for the map you’re on, i.e. Lions Arch.

o.O Is there such feature? I have been playing it for more than 2 years and I never noticed that? O.O

I discovered it yesterday by accident, it’s so awesome!

And yes mine pings the whole map, doesn’t bother me.

Twice this week I have done this quest before the Jungle worm, got all my “champ” bags as I believe they are called, yet got no quest reward.

Found some forum threads over a year old with the same bug.
