No, the guildmates im speaking of are warriors , bunker and suppot front line type warriors. Some guardians also. Glasscannon types dont survive much for the front lines that i can tell.

Maybe i should do more aoe condition dmg and/or well dmg. I like surviving front lines but dont like my badge per night count.

Its frustrating and makes me wanna play other classes so i can get the gear to fit my necro.

Hello Everyone,

I seem to be having trouble getting more than 20 badges a night in WvW with my Necro. Currently I switch between a Well build and a Shroud Build.

But cant seem to get more than 20 badges in a night. While others in my Guild seem to get 10 badges in a single encounter!!

What am I doing wrong? Is it my build? should I be doing Something else so I can tag more ppl? or what?’

Any constructive help would be appreciated.

This is completely Awesome! I like the Elixir build and the fact that you use P/P which it seem a lot of builds are getting away from that lately.

I also dont mind the fact that you know what class/tactics counter your build and that you are OK with that.

Use Staff 5 or DS 3, check if Fear is the only condition on the golem (Barbed Precision sucks), wait for damage tick. Apply condition with Staff 5, Dagger 4 or something similar that does not fill your screen with bleed ticks, rinse and repeat. You can turn your back to the mob when using DS 3 so you won’t start autoattacking it.

1279 Condtion damage, 746 Terror without another condition, 1120 with another condition applied for both Fears

Did it, three times. No buff. I always hit for about 9kittenage from fear.
My fear tick just once.
Can you capture a video? I can capture one myself to prove there is no buff.

No conditions : 700-800 dmg tics (basically like Burn), with condition 1100-1200 per tic.

Was working perfectly fine when I was derping around in pve. I’ve been running this fear build for over a month now, there’s a buff. z.z

Care tpo share your build? And if you use it for wvwvwv?

I dont see why it would get nerfed. Even being necro “master of fear” we dont have a way to reliably apply fear to people. Staff and deathshroud. The 2 traited fears for when we are immobilized or downed. I dont see how it would be nerfed unless im not seeing something.

PLEASE! ANYONE with any kind of experience can shed some ideas on what class is better for this task.

I roll with a 5-15 man group in wvwvw and because of the groups current setup i would like to find a decent CC build for necro.

Atm i use axe/focus and staff. I use spinal shivers for cc and fear mark on the staff. I also have the trait “when you blind someone you also chill them” so i use well of darkness. Ami doing this right?

Any build you find useful for a cc necro would be appreciated if you posted.

Is the control Necro the same as Wulfgrim’s Bunker Necro?

As title says, I am having trouble trying to find 2 or 3 builds I can use for various parts of GW2. I am looking for a WvWvW Build (with ability to stay alive longer and contribute to keep taking/defense), a Dungeon build that helps with Healing, and maybe a Pve Fun build.

I have tried a few out and I must be messing things up a bit. I am almost level 50 with my Necro and I feel I should start be beginning to come into the power of a Necro but I’m failing at build creation.

Any suggestion would be great. Something along the lines of what I requested above would be great.
