Not arguing that it was a nerf to Elixir Gun.
Just pointing at possible uses and synergy.To be honest: acid bomb itself should immobilize or at least cripple…
Group support as engineer got a huge nerf with these changes to Kit refinement, I totally agree.
Acid Bomb should change to Glue Bomb (1 second immobilize with 3 sec cripple) and KR for Elixir Gun should be Acid Trail.
KR for Elixir Gun should go back to Super Elixir. Or perhaps a new trait that allows us to get another Super Elixir from the elixir gun. The eles can plop 3 Cleansing Waves with evasive arcana, the water trait, and water 5. But having two super elixirs, that have a similar effect of a small heal and a single condition cleanse?

It is so sad that they removed double Super Elixir. That was one of our best support options, and it is straight up gone. Not nerfed, the ability to plop a second SE within a skillset cycle is GONE.

Don’t forget that it now pops the KR skill if you are out of combat. Want to use medkit 5 to initiate / run into a fight? No KR skill for 20 seconds.
Doing a multikit build?
Which KR skill will I get, nobody knows! Round and round the kits flow, where it stops… nobody knows!
We can’t even select by jumping in the air to avoid the KR skill anymore.
KR is bad. It is broken for anything other than single kit build.
RIP.
Super Elixir did NOT get buffed this patch, that information is left over from the previous patch, and should be ignored. The current healing values today are identical to those before the March26 patch.
The effectiveness of SE builds has been HALVED.
I repeat, it has NOT been buffed.
Not sure if this has been discussed before or not, but either way it needs to be addressed.
I have noticed that most, if not all stunbreakers simply fail to work if used in the air, or during the knockback animation phase.
This is painfully annoying in the new AC, as classes without reliable stability ( I’m looking at you, engineer. T_T ) have less of an opportunity to prevent the knockdown, and are required to stunbreak after the knockback.
What is really sad about this effect, is that it punishes those with a quicker reaction to the stun. If we attempt to break it right away, we risk putting our stunbreaker on cooldown, without actually breaking the stun. (With the average cd of stunbreakers, this is not a good option)
The reliable way to break a stun, is to wait for the end of the of the animation. However, this wastes time, especially as the point of a stunbreaker is that it’s supposed to be instant!
The worst I’ve seen is Elixir S / Mist Form, carrying the knockdown THROUGH the transformation, and being stunned in place. (NOT immobilize, the skills will show a timer like a stun)
This happens from the same reason, the stun was attempted to be broken too early, but the transformation occurred.
Any word if this is going to be fixed? Or are we going to have to wait until the ‘correct’ moment to break a stun….

This is seriously an outrage. Why has engineer been nerfed so much, every single patch?
Best thing about the guild is that its open to everyone! We’re very accepting and helpful to new members and new players alike. GW2 always has something to do, why not zoid- I mean, why not join an amazing guild and do it with friends!
I’m running along with my best buddies, when all of a sudden we see a target! Everyone rushes in but Oh No! I catch a long duration immobilize.
No problem guys! I came prepared!
I brought the MEDKIT.
So I reach into my bag full of wondrous medical supplies, (My favorite makes me run faster.. Don’t ask what’s in it. ) and whip out an antidote.
An antidote will fix me right up!
So I take it out of my bag and throw it a few centimeters in front of me.
I stand there, imobilized in shame, staring at my failure of a cure in front of me.
Help… I say, and my warrior buddy comes back to see what’s wrong.
He looks at the antidote, then at me, and laughs.
Finally, he tells me to just shake it off, and I walk past my unused antidote to join the rest.
I’m not a smart engineer, apparently.
