Guild Wars 2

I have a razer keyboard and mouse liked to gw2 and I haven’t have any issues with it… ever
So I’m not sure what advice would be handy :/

Yes extremely. With the ele nurf that messed up the staff rotation and and this bug, I honestly don’t feel like logging in much unless it’s time for a scheduled raid

Well at least I’m not the only one noticing this.

Wednesday while raiding I started to notice that after pressing the facets to activate them they would sometimes automatically active the second skills on them. This didn’t happen every time I activated them, but at one of them usually did this once per glint rotation…. I tried it just a few minutes ago just chilling in the raid lobby. Still happens. I tested the buttons on my mouse and they weren’t double pressing their corresponding skill numbers in the chat bar. ~Paused writing this to do more testing and make sure I’m not crazy~ I tested this on my keyboard to see if it was my mouse. Still happens …. What I did notice that most of the time the facets double activated I’m holding/clicking left click for the auto attack ( I used action camera). Also worth noting this didn’t happen before the LWS3 patch.

Just wanted to put this out there just in case others are having the same issues and or hope maybe some others can test this to see if it is an actual bug.

I didn’t think it was so I went back just to make sure and I made sure it was in the default inventory slot just to be sure and issues is still there

I have all of the other require items for the machined collection, however whenever I try to charge the oiled warhorn from a HoT hero point commune it gives me the same generic “you’ve already gained all the power you can.” I’ve tried a few with the same results. After a google search apparently this has been bugged since October. Just making Anet aware that it’s still a thing and that my tempest is missing her North Wind.

To save time on downlaods and not having multiple dat files if I don’t need them. I’m curious if the gw2 dat file is the same for both 32 and 64 version. If I can just copy/past the 32 bit version… it’ll save some time.

When taking on mordy in that long fight, the leyline stone looking parts will not appear for me sometimes when I need to activate (end up falling off the battle field the first time because I thought it was a graphics bug) on the rifts even after surviving for 10 minutes thinking it just needs time to come back. So far this has happened to me twice since last night. For the love of all the quaggans please give us a repair station there at the retry point! -_-

I’ve been on break (off and on) the past year, however I intend to fully return due to HoT’s release. I’m seeking a PVX guild (mainly for PVE) that isn’t elitist but not casual… (if there’s such a thing). I would much prefer a guild that is already a solid guild. Before my break I spent 6 months trying to heard and get people to join a guild I started with some friends, but went nowhere, so I would rather not have that sort of feeling. One other criteria I am looking for is open mindedness. I’m a trans girl so I would rather not have to deal with any issues because of it. I have tried to join a few lgbt guilds, but they either weren’t very active or it felt like they were split into smaller clicks. My last widdle bit is that I prefer not to to be stuck with a 100% rep. I will definitely rep the guild I join the most. However I have some friends that stream so I join and rep them on their stream to show support and all that jazz.

Thank you so much for the responses. I’m gonna to give my post a day or so for other potential guilds to reply then I’ll weigh my options.

I guess I’ll start off by stating I am currently a guild leader of a very small guild… However, due to our core group not being very active/not repping much it lead the last 8 month of trying to get the guild going into wasted effort and took the joy of the game from my co leaders and I. We have decided to disband and move on… With that said it brings me here hoping to find a guild that is inline with what we had in-visioned. I am exhausted from leading at the moment therefore I am not seeking a position in leadership, however later on I would give it some thought if offered. Because a few of our active players will be pretty guildless, I’ll most likely have a few following me (1 guaranteed).

Accomplishments and other Info (Not trying to show off… Just trying to give you an idea on what kind of veteran player I am)

• On at least once a day
• Home server: Fort Aspenwood
• 8 lv 80’s (just on my NA account)
• Mains: Guardian (Tanky support), Engineer (Condi), Necro, (Zerker) P.S I don’t care too much about being meta. I got for what I think is fun and elitist really bug me.
• Over 4.5 Thousand hours played since 3-4 days after launch
• A little over 12k AP (skipped some of LS season 1 meta events because they consisted of too much of pve zerging with auto attacks. And I don’t judge people’s skills from AP, I see it more as an indication on how much content they have done)
• Defeated Liadre in the Queens gauntlet (favorite mini lol)
• All crafts at 400-500
• Commander tag, but these days they’re a dime a dozen hehe
• Made Quip for my shiny engi lol
• lv 30 in fractals
• Arah p4 away from dungeon master
• Something like 130 rank in WvW ( I spent more item in WvW before they added the ranking system and wvw masteries)
• Rank deer or dolyak in pvp (I don’t remember for sure because I haven’t played much in quite some time)

What I had in-visioned / what I’m looking for.

I am looking for guild that has a solid foundation, more specifics bellow

• Main thing, a friendly and open mined guild with a family feel! When I say that I mean not discriminating against age, race, gender, gender Identity, sexual orientation, and even class the person plays. In the past I have seen too many guilds advertise themselves as friendly and after being in said guild for a day or so I notice people saying things like"that’s gay" or “f*g”. I don’t see that as friendly, instead rather disrespectful. Cursing I don’t mind as long as it’s not every other word…
• Content: PVX focusing on PVE: For pve I love doing dungeons, fractals, open world, living story, mega bosses, jumping puzzles. Pretty much everything! ~cough SAB! cough~ When it comes to WvW I would like to get back into it. However, if you’re guild isn’t on FA I just can’t justify spending more gems transferring for the sake of wvw. But hey, that’s what roaming is for. So if your guild is on FA great; if not, no big deal. I would like to get back to being a competitive player. So would I do some PvP? Absolutely!
  Guild Events! When I join a guild I want to feel like I’m investing in a family. Whether it be missions, meeting, or player made event’s, If I’m not busy with IRL stuff I will most likely be there! I don’t see the point in joining a guild and not doing things with the guild
• Guild Size: I would rather much have a quality vs quantity. I would rather have a small tight knit guild with really active member vs a large guild with 10% active rate where you feel like just a number.
• Casual Vs. Hardcore: In terms of skill level I would really be comfortable in a guild that is in the middle of casual and hardcore. Although I would not consider myself an expert I do feel as though I am pretty skilled in the classes I main, and like I stated earlier elitist annoy me. I am more than willing to help and give others advice based off my experience as long as they are willing to listen, learn, and give it a try.
• Voip? Even though I dread hearing my own voice, I much prefer voip over in game chat for communication and organization.

So yeah, that’s generally what I’m looking for. Thank you for taking the time to read this! I know it was a little lengthy, but I would rather not “settle” for a guild.

Hey there! We are Good Knights, we are a small guild looking to grow! We focus on being a tight-knit, friendly, and open-minded group where everyone can feel safe and welcome. We are on the NA servers but do not have a specific home server and focus on the PvE aspects of the game. We are an English-speaking guild, so fluency in English is required.

Our rules are very basic and focus on creating a positive play space for our members (we like to call them the Knights.) They involve willingness to help others (give and take) and repping most of the time you are online.

We only have about 20 members currently, but have just restructured and started from the ground up! We are accepting players new to the game or of any skill level, but we are also looking for veteran players to help make the guild a great learning environment for said new players and to help some of our events run more efficiently. We currently have guild bounties unlocked, but require more members to complete them successfully.

We use Razer Comms as our VoIP of choice and even though it is still in beta, it is looking promising. It is a windows- and android-only program for now, but we are hoping it will be available to macs in the future. We also have a Good Knights-only music player at Plug.DJ for sharing your favorite tunes with your guildies!

I love the idea! Would save a lot of time loading in to each toon if you can’t remember what crafting profession is on is on which toon.

Is there any proof of this just so we aren’t going off speculation?

I’m not talking about better drop I’m talking about the chance of a loot dropping ….

Several people and I have noticed that since magic find has gone account bound, the rate of actually getting any loot at all has lowered… Currently unbuffed my mf is at 80% and I had more loot drop before the game update… I’ve tried farming in large group and solo/ different classes and builds. But end up with crap loot rate. Some friends and guild mates said they noticed the same thing… I was wondering if there are other people who have the same issues o.o And to clarify I’m not talking about the rarity of the items but just items dropping in general.

See that’s another reason why they should make them equipable, so it also frees up inventory slots, and eliminates the reason to go to the bank when you wanna enable one.

interesting…. I never knew that; never played gw2

So it’s obvious that guild wars 2 has many mini pets, but frankly I find them more as a hassle and not worth the gems or coin to buy them. Besides the fact that they are cute or cool looking there’s no incentive to get them. I’ve spent a lot of money on them and I’m disappointed to the point i sold all but 4 or 5 of them….
I think i would be more inclined if:

1) they did more then just follow u around and looked nice. One thing i liked about the pets in wow was they were more animated and some even randomly threw spells at allies.

2) To have the ability to equip a pet like gear….. it’s really annoying how when ever you map change, or your pet gets too far away, or even some times just randomly if u have it out too long…. you have to activate your pet again!

What do you peoples think?
