Ok, I tried it out with Virtues replacing Zeal. Gotta admit the damage does seem much higher. Build revised to reflect more focus on Virtues and consecrations.

Nice. but now swap out the sword/torch for Greatsword. Drop a purging flames, use GS 5 to pull mobs in and then whirling wrath and giggle at the amount of burn stacks you build up on a group of mobs. (whirling wrath does flaming bolts on a fire field)

I used to do that all day every day in Siverwastes/Orr on my burn guard.

or just use torch 5 and 10 burns on everybody and then swap to GS2

That makes a WORSE problem – no trade off, less risk, and very little reason not to just mash and mash again.

Virtues are like Signets – activating them carries a price and that price makes the decision important.

we already paid price with lowest heath pool… and people will use other elites instead RF to refresh them

ye we capped kodash keep defended by 2 ppl so we left it to kodashs and attacked piken side where was some ressistance

I believe that people are just lazy in today’s world, that is all it is plain and simple—LAZINESS.

If people weren’t lazy you wouldn’t have so many people complaining about such simple tasks like daily’s or monthly’s, which both can be completed in less than 3 hours of work. Daily’s can be completed within an hour and Monthly’s can be completed in 3 hours.

Other complaints about grinding stems from people wanting the same gear as the best person, because KIDS are taught this now days. In sports EVERYONE gets a trophy whether they win or lose, because some parent thought it would be a good idea to have “participation” awards for children so they don’t get laughed at. So it drains the competition factor out of society itself, whenever this happened.

Getting to the final point. This is a game, yes it is there for YOU to have fun. However, it is not there for YOU to complain about wanting it YOUR way. If YOU want to work at something and get what someone else has then do it; if not then don’t.

I wish people would stop complaining about “grindiness” just because they only get 2 hours a day or 5 hours a week to play. My wife plays less than 1 hour a day and she is perfectly content with the game, she knows that she will never have the best gear, will never be the best at her class, and that doesn’t detour her from playing.

HARDCORE players is how games make money. CASUAL players is how games make money. You have to satisfy both parties to get the most money, but you can’t because if hardcore players have better gear than casuals, the casuals complain; ultimately leading to the hardcore players leaving the game. It’s all about compromise and I believe A-Net has done that with ascended gear. Hardcore players can get better gear than casual players with more effort and casual players can get the same get with little effort.

There is no “gear grind” like in other games, where the only thing in the game is better gear. Should there be? Yes, in all honesty you have to work to have something to achieve otherwise you lose customers. Will this result in some type of grind? Yes it will.

However, have you ever looked at it this way…Real life is a grind that you have to do EVERYDAY of your LIFE. It’s not a job, it’s called LIVING. Welcome to the Real World where everything is a grind. Want a better car? Work (grind) for it. Want to eat? Cook something (grind). Want to complain about something in a video game? Sure go for it (grind).

EVERYTHING IN LIFE IS A GRIND! GET OVER YOURSELF YOU ARE NOT THE CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE!

i think we should be able to transmute head slot skins between professions

imagine elementalist protecting his precious head in metalic helm (armor value should be still same as light armor) or warrior wearing hood/mask…

also this burning cannot be removed/cured/whatever… and should be able to trigger “Inner Fire” trait

1 screen is default 75° h-FOV (47° v-FOV)
2 screen is beta test 85° h-FOV (55° v-FOV)
3 screen is “comfortable” 90° h-FOV (59° v-FOV)

true story bro! and if you rly need to salvage something to complete monthly rew. or archivements use basic salvage kit (88 copper) and salvage only white items

there is only 1 rule!!! NEVER SALVAGE ITEMS!!! you losing plenty of money!!!

sell them all to NPC and rare/exotics sell in TP because crafting component you salvaged cost less than item you just destroyed

@Pluton I didn’t think about Eyefinity because I’ve never been rich enough to have more than one monitor :P I know the game is coded to work with Eyefinity to a degree and they say they are working on fixing the bugs with it and Nvidia Surround. But I’d think this works a bit differently. Maybe it works the same since I didn’t think about those.

However the one thing I see that still says to me it would be a “cheat” is if I and someone else are both running 22" monitors at say 1680×1050 and running just one monitor he’d have an unfair advantage over me if he can see more because he’s using a “hack” program to alter the games display. The point I’m making is they tell you don’t use macros to do multiple button presses, don’t alter the game so it seems pretty clear they don’t want you messing with things they don’t provide.

and if you both have 22" with native 1680×1050 and the other guy set resolution on his monitor to 1680×780 he gona see more then you… so you want ban him?

Since your no moderator i would stop giving a yes or no answer.This needs to be answered by a mod,not by a player.

Why do you need a mod to state what they’ve already stated? Any program that modifies the game files or game functions that gives an unfair advantage to a player is considered a bannable mod. Just look at the pics posted above me. Clearly the player using the FOV can SEE more than the default UI thus giving them an unfair advantage in PvP

so if person has 3 monitors and game set his FOV to 180° he gona get ban too? because its unfair advantage?

look here… first picture is default FOV and second is more natural (1.5x) FOV as you can see camera is more zoomed to character and you can still see part of sky

dont get me wrong i love this game but after 2 hours with low FOV (60 i gues?) and forced mouse smoothing my brain think i am intoxicated…

and what is basic reflex to getting rid of toxins? yes… vomiting

so i PLEASE devs to give us controls over FOV and “mouse smoothing” because i dont think majority of players playing this game on TV and using ball mouse
